Aussie Hi Fi / The Audio Tailor

For a local store I expected a bit more patient with people with little knowledge of record tables. The sales man did not want to compare the sound of their record table against mine. Didn't have many options on stock. I ended up paying less for what I neeeded at jb hifi.

I purchased a Rega P1 deck and Spin Clean record cleaner. Had a great customer experience with Aussie HiFi, very good communication via email, professional and courteous. My purchases arrived and boy was I not disappointed! I’ve never heard my vinyl sound so amazingly good. I haven’t played a disc for over 25 years but all my records are in great condition and just in need of a clean. This Rega is just beautiful in looks and sound, for an entry Rega it’s just awesome! Next on the list is a new amp and some bookshelf speakers! I’m so pleased I purchased from Aussie. Great prices and great service - I will be back

The customer care team at Aussie Hifi are the gold standard for any Australian retailer operating with both a physical and digital store front. I was informed that there would be a delay on an order due to it being retrieved from the warehouse. I explained it was a wedding gift (I didn't mind giving it late) and they were more than happy to try and arrange for it to be shipped straight from the warehouse with splitting the additional cost with me. They were prompt, polite, respectful and very competent. Thank you Gabby and Stuart:)

Had to return a faulty product within warranty period. The service I received was very rare. Both operators delivered an outstanding result from initial troubleshooting the issue through to giving me their last unit on the spot and absorbing the inconvenience of sending the faulty one away and waiting for the unit that was meant for me to arrive back on their shelf. Not sure if that's their policy, but that was outstanding service. Thank you.

Both over the phone and in store service here was exceptional.

After reading the reviews about the great service, I felt good about contacting these guys with a hifi related issue I've had over the last couple of years.

They invited me in store so they could help me in person (this was an issue I had with a purchase from another store). Jarrod was AWESOME. Not only did he give me peace of mind, but helped me select a really great amplifier to get the best out of my home hifi set up.

They've now got a long-term customer. Well done team!

All hifi shops are terrible, but even with that benchmark Aussie Hifi is a decent little shop (and vastly above the industry average).

The salespeople know their gear and aren't pushy, while most other shops are pushy and clueless (just trying to increase their sale). I changed my mind while an order was en route and they were really good about cancelling the original and getting me the alternate.

My only qualm is one order was delayed by a week (with minimal explanation). The order still arrived and it really wasn't an issue as the delivery was quick even with the delay.

I can't wait to give Aussie Hifi more money!

Small HiFi store limited staff and stock seems to do more sales online than through the door. Staff seem to be quite knowledgeable though. Lack of stock means most things need to be ordered in though.

Great friendly and expert service, although quite a long wait for the stylus, that I ordered for my turntable, to arrive >6months (however this delay was no doubt caused by COVID)

Stuart was extremely helpful, professional, gave me good advice and gave me a great deal. I would recommend them anytime! Really worth it to go there. The nice thing is, they are not in a hurry to push a sale through. Stuart took his time explaining, playing me music etc, I really appreciated that a lot.

Great service and easy to navigate website with competitive pricing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the website game me the impression that the item was in stock when it was not. However I did receive the item 2 weeks after placing my order and I'm very happy with the build quality of these speaker stands.

I ordered the Pro-Ject Primary E Turntable but unfortunately due to its popularity it was out of stock. Gabby was so quick to update me of this and when they expected new stock to arrive. As it was a gift, she went above and beyond to get the order to me as soon as it arrived to them. It was dispatched express post from Queensland and arrived to me the next day in Melbourne. Great communication and excellent customer service, that is not always the case with some companies these days.

First time visiting the store and I was made to feel like a long time customer the way I was welcomed. Nathan was amazing to deal with, assisting to meet the requirements I had in purchasing an amplifier. I'll be a long term customer.
