Dr Jasmine is hostile, blunt and overall the most uncomfortable person to be around. I have seen her on multiple occasions (due to not being able to get another doc) and have always left feeling malcontent, dissatisfied and let down.she needs to consider a different profession as her negative energy is getting in the way of the healing space she's supposed to provide as a doctor.

They used to have nice receptionist there very customer friendly and professionals, now they have rude receptionist which they don't even know to speak English.

Some Front staff are very very rude.
They need to be humble with the patients but they actually treat like a dog. Firstly she is happy to send an invoice through an email but once I did a payment she refused to do so and start doing argue with me instead of say politely.
Not good enough.
Very much disappointed

No one picked up the phone in the past three times I tried to call. What was going on? (6: 00pm-8: 30pm)

I never come back again they can’t even understand emergency situation. Receptionist is so rude don’t wanna help at all. I been there r at 9pm for my daughter got something stuck in her ear canal getting hurt by that. Not even a single person waiting in waiting area and she keep saying we are fully booked out and we don’t accept emergencies. Business minded people. No humanity left at this medical centre at all.
Good luck money makers.

At Algester Medical Centre, I had a terrible experience. The receptionist was really disrespectful, canceled my appointment without my permission. I was 5 minutes late, but every clinic used to phone before cancelling an appointment, and she had already sent the next patient inside within that time. They had no understanding of a person's seriousness. When a person schedules an appointment, definitely they are in need. I strongly recommend don't go there.

From last two years they are not taking patients if they got fever. Drs can be that scared can not believe. Whats about the Dr and nurses working in covid patients from last two years without any fear. I am surprised how they all become dr. Strongly recommend dont go there.

Rung up and was instantly told there were no appointments, can't help you. Logged onto the app straight after to check, and there were at least 4 appointments on the day I asked for, and I was able to book an appointment, no drama at all. Strange, when I was rudely told there were none at all available.

I have used this medical centre for 2 times and doctors are great but the receptionist are very rude. Even when i called them they were rude on the phone as well and telling me that you should know better. I won't be going to this place ever but feel sad that the doctors are very nice but because of receptionist behaviour they are losing clients. I hope they would do something about these receptionist specially the one with glasses on. I didn't catch her name.

I’ve been attending this practice for a number of years and the gps are generally always on time, thorough and pleasant with the patients. As, too, are many of the receptionists…. With the exception of Shar. Shar is rude, dismissive and extremely unhelpful. As the “face” of the practice, please ensure your receptionists learn some patient relationship skills!

The doctors are great here, but very poorly managed! I’m reviewing this after visiting them for almost a year and experiencing a wait time of more than 20-25mins! Today, I had an appointment for 8: 30pm and they asked me to wait outside (in the cold) coz of covid restrictions and at 8: 50pm when I asked for how long is it going to take, the receptionist said “the doctors are always going to be late”. I don’t think it’s the doctor but the booking system is at fault, either they are overly booked or booked one after the other without thinking about breathing time between the next patient. I completely understand that doctor’s appointment can run over I accept that but not the fact that you make the other patient wait for good 25mins.

Have been coming to Algester for 7+ years. Dr Laila and Dr Armin are my doctors. They work after hours which is convenient for my work hours.

There are sometimes longer waits say 30minutes but it's a Bulkbilling clinic, I wait longer for specialists and I gotta pay for that.

Alot of heat on the receptionists but I don't have any issues with them, they always greet me by my first name and always have a smile.

Bulkbilling, great services, great doctors - happy days!

The other day I was one minute late for a appointment and Algester doctors refused to see me because the doctors break was only 9 minutes away and they didn't want to risk him being late
I only needed a prescription for a sinus infection. I explained this. They still advised the Dr would not see me as he did not wish to risk being late for his break. Considering I've wait over 45 min for late appointments before, this was really disappointing

Had a 1.40pm tele health appointment today. It's now 2.25pm. Tried to call to see if Dr running behind etc. The phone lines are already switched over stating its after hours they close at 2pm. A simple phone call or text from reception would be nice to say if running late. How am I ment to contact the practice to find out what's happening with my appointment?

Had a telehealth appointment last week when you book online states 20min consult. Dr rings 50 mins after scheduled appointment then rushes my consult.

For the Receptionist Annie. Such a double standard. Please learn how to talk to people and send a voice mail. No body is running away without paying. Learn to check patient’s details correctly and learn to apologise once you know what was wrong. Thank you

My family have been patients of Dr Covan Ho for over 10 years. Quite simply, he’s the best I've come across. Many a time I've come out of the clinic and in the car driving home, I've said to my family how lucky we are to have stumbled across this incredible doctor - because finding a great doctor you're comfortable with, trust highly and respect is difficult. I don't feel rushed with Dr Ho. I truly appreciate the time he takes to explain medical matters in a way that I understand and makes sense. The best part about Dr Ho from my perspective is just how particular and extremely knowledgeable he is; and that's the way I like it. Put simply, I've always felt safe in his hands and that he keeps my family safe; and other fathers may understand the value I put on this. And in those situations where Dr Ho has been unavailable (e.g. After hours), we've been given superb care by other doctors at the clinic.
Secondly - his staff - We have ALWAYS been greeted professionally, promptly and courteously at reception and over the phone. I'm often greeted by name on sight by staff who have been there a while. If I'm slack and don't book in my skin check, the staff follow me up (but never hassle me).
Yes, when it comes to doctors and clinics, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to be in such great hands.

Staff are amazing. Will try and help you with any problem you have.

They have phone Bull billing telehealth service available for those who are current patients of either the Algester or Acacia ridge practice.
Not video conferencing available, however they do have a email they can give you to send pictures if needed.
Very helpful if you are post operation and need wounds and dressing checked by a GP.

Both Dr Emerson and Dr Suleman are extremely good doctors and have a great deal of compassion for everyone. Keep up the amazing work, hope you don't get any burn out from 2020.

My mum was just in here, filled out her personal details form for her appointment only for the staff to tell her they can't help her because she doesn't have photo ID. Since when do you need to provide photo ID for a doctor appointment? She had her Medicare & pension card and a letter with her address on it and that was stoll not enough. She is 60 and has never needed photo ID for anything in her life. She spent so long trying to figure out the form just for them to waste her time and tell her the doctor can't see her. Very disappointed. She paid for a taxi to get here and now she has to pay for one to get home without even being seen.

I am surprised by the negative comments here. Has been my local medical centre for > 10 years and the service from reception and doctors has always been excellent.
