Territory Manor Motel & Caravan Park reviews
73 The camping section gets flooded by sprinklers. When addressing the owners they simply say it’s our fault for pitching our tents there although we were instructed to.
There are other options in the area, I’d recommend them if you want to deal with staff that don’t point the finger.
Tough conditions after covid for many of these places (short staffed and everyone is travelling) and these guys did a great job to put on a show and have the facilities running with a friendly attitude.
We limped into Mataranka with unexpected clutch issues. Late on a Friday of a long weekend. We had not planned to stay here but could not have received a more welcoming reception. We were looked after through our 'dramas' and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and service, while waiting for tow and repairs to be sorted. Walking distance to town and our afternoon swim at Bitter Speings
This place is one of my favourite places to stay, I always look forward to a night at Mataranka! The service is amazing and if you want a value for money meal, they have the best range. Try the Chicken Parmi!
We stayed here for one night as we were travelling to Queensland. Check in was smooth, ample parking place, communal kitchen, pool had some dead frogs which is understandable in wet season. It’s a nice place to stay honestly. Loved the peacocks roaming around:)
Great place to stay for an overnighter. Great swimming pool, lots of peacocks around, bar and restaurant available
Somebody said they would eat two minute noodles before giving money to rude host, they must have arrived with their own problem or been hard to get along with as the hosts themselves are 5 star as are the meals. The park itself is nestled in a very relaxing environment, it must be remembered that this park is not overly expensive and therefore lives up to a 5 star rating.
We had an amazing stay at Territory Manner! It was like a green oasis. The facilities are very clean and the layout of the campsite is great. The host is so lovely, she gave us advice on the springs and was also there early in the morning to serve great coffee! We will definitely stay here again.
The place itself is super relaxing and refreshing, a really laid back vibe. My partner and I stayed in a cabin that was immaculately clean and cool with an aircon. Staff were really friendly and food from the restaurant was amazing. It’s situated right in town and also just a short way from Bitter Springs. We really enjoyed our time and will stay here again.
Great rooms $120 a night in November, option of a family room for $135. Pool is OK, outdoor spa was closed but the grounds are well watered and nice for a stroll after the healthy sized portions of dinner at the local restaurant. Chicken Outback Parma was good, chips were ok and the pepper sauce excellent.
Friendly place to stay.with restaurant and live music
I left some clothes on the line and realised after I left.they kindly collected them and are going to post them to me.how wonderful!
Fantastic place with lovely owners who are very friendly and do there best to help in anyway they can
Great Caravan park well priced and staff are fantastic and restaurant is well priced and entertainment most nights. Large open camp ground. Lots of room. Only 2 km to bitter springs.
Great caravan park.
Staff friendly.
Amenities good.
There was entertainment both nights we were there.
Close to Bitter Springs and the Thermal Pool.
Loved this place, owner is doing so much to make your visit great.restaurant was a great place for a meal or beer/wine.plus pet friendly.
The best place in Mataranka for food and a cuppa. Camping appears ok too- we regretted not having stayed there instead of the Mataranka homestead
I hope the owners were just having a bad day.or year. When the owner demanded to know if we had a problem that was the start of a very aggressive and unproductive conversation about our welcome and initial confusion over bar availability. So much so i wanted to discuss the following but felt intimidated to do so. A free beer and wine didn't really compensate for the rudeness.
No glasses in the room, just coffee mugs. No water in the room nor water jug, or any water available after hours at the bar. Lots of cockroaches in the room. Very comfortable bed. During a three night stay I saw the staff sample the pool water once but only guests skimmed the many leaves off the top with a broken skimmer net, the skimmer boxes never worked with the filter pump running. The water so cloudy you could only see shadows of leaf litter on the bottom. Spa green. This place DOESN'T have great amenities, it does have good bones. I think the owners have been hit hard by COVID and are out of their depth coping; the only reason they get a bonus star. Won't be back. Can't recommend. We ate 2 minute noodles rather than give any more money to this rude host.
Great accommodation and definitely the best restaurant in Mataranka with a genuine "family run" ambience. They can get very busy at dinner time and yet the service and food is excellent, especially when you consider the location, logistic challenges and crew size. I would recommend trying their manor parmi (a unique and very creative parmi where you have the regular toppings.further topped my a beautiful avo mash and hollandaise sauce; If you love parmi and eggs benedict, you're in for a treat; their manor burger, cheesy garlic bread and one I will miss for sure shortly is their pizza! They even have an awesome salad bar with self serve veggies and must try potato bake at dinner (maybe only on the busy nights/weekends; not sure). All of that in Mataranka. Hats off to the restaurant team. We are there every time we visit Mataranka and it is very clear that they are continuously improving.
Awesome! Its a great spot and the service the impeccable out in the "Never never"
The variety on the food menu was amazing and great coffee
Hope to get back in the dry season
Beautiful place to stay with a lagoon full of lillies and wildlife, lots of shade and a big pool, just up the road from bitter springs and mataranka thermal pool.
The new owners are lovelly and definately work hard to ensure visitors get good service and enjoy their stay
