We booked 4 rooms and stayed one night on 09/10/2021 and overall it was a good experience. Rooms look good. Bathroom need bit of a attention. But most of them credit needs to go to the Kitchen F & B staff. They are the best. I only have one bad experience through my stay with guy who work at the coffee station in Sunday morning 10/10/2021. As coffee machines broken, we were asked to make our coffer orders with him and when I tried to collect mine he did his best to neglect me as I not existing there, When I talk to him after 10 mints waiting he make sure his tried and unhappy thought gets me well. Please replace him with the kind hatred persona who understand his salary paid by Guest who stayed in your property.

This is a great hotel if you ever want to know what it feels like to be inside a crocodile without actually being eaten by one, a much more pleasant experience in my opinion

Stayed for two nights and had a great experience. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

I’d probably say 3 stars for the actual rooms and hotel facilities, it’s seem it’s heyday, but the staff were friendly and the dinner at the restaurant was incredible. It’s hard to get past the novelty of the croc shape too. The pool area has had all the trees cut down to stumps, so it’s not as nice anymore sadly, but the pool is still covered by a sail and inviting in the heat.

Beautiful Ambience and very Good customer service.
It will be appreciated if there are more vegetarian options only two on menu is not enough. Vegetarian Italian Pasta will be great.

Absolutely wonderful! We are diamond Accor Plus members. The experience we had at this hotel was so personalised and special. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and each night tried a different meal. We were impressed with every single dish. I highly recommend trying the crocodile spring rolls, kangaroo and eye fillet.

Most importantly, I want to thank the restaurant manager, Thilina, for such exceptional service. Thilina made our stay so special. He made us feel like we were truly valued guests and took the time to make our time in Kakadu as memorable as possible. Thilina had a story to tell us about each dish we ordered. He told us where each type of meat was from, how the chefs prepare it and all sorts of interesting facts. Mercure are truly fortunate to have Thilina as a part of their team.

Thank you Thilina, for taking such good care of us and for all of the advice regarding our Kakadu travels. We look forward to seeing you again one day.

Beautiful pool and restaurant with high end food. The gallery in the lobby has a large amount of Aboriginal art to purchase.

My husband and I dined in the restaurant on Friday night. Although the staff were polite the service was very disappointing. They forgot our drinks, I had to walk up to the bar to follow up on the drink order. The drinks arrived after we finished our starters. The cocktail was not worth $20 as it wasn't mixed properly. The food was okay. No one filled our water or checked on us throughout our sitting.

Staff were fantastic, especially Ross the chef and Jaz in the restaurant. Food quality and pricing was excellent in a remote location. Rooms and exterior a little dated but clean and serviceable. Great position to see all the sites then have a place to return to and relax to start it all again the next day. Would definitely revisit

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel room very comfortable. Both nights we ate at the restaurant there and had the delightful Bebe serve us, we found her very accommodating and nothing was too much even though they were busy. Service was great and so was the food and reasonable price. Jai was also very pleasant and helpful.
Glad we chose Mercure for our stay in Kakadu.

I would not stay here again. Room had mould smell immediately we opened the door.
Bathroom has mould all around bath and toilet paper used not even a new roll. Dinner was just as bad, service appalling and food inedible. Paying top price for a hotel, I would have preferred to camp. Didn’t even include breakfast for over 400 a night. Will never come back here. Dirty and cigarette butts all around the grounds. Very disappointed.

The rating says it all. Service, food, rooms, cleanliness ALL OVERRATED and cost was theft for what we got. Go to Cooinda or hire a van!

The hotel really is shaped like a crocodile. The rooms are perfectly serviceable, but have seen better days. The food was surprisingly good. Lots of choices and all of it good.

This hotel is simply old, run down, tired and expensive. Covid can't be blamed for this one as the maintenance issues that i witnessed have been brewing for years simply not enough money put into care and maintenance but that could be said about the whole of the Kakadu experience

While the room was ok the externals need a good clean out. Restaurant needs some light. Pool area is well past its best.

Excellent buffet during peak season - variety without compromising on quality. Pool area great for kids. In the centre of Jabiru, close to everything.

A great place to stay, dine, unwind and recharge. The staff are friendly, professional and focused on providing great service. Thanks to Timothy a local artist for giving of his time to impart local knowledge and showing us a snapshot of his culture.

Service was great and food was the best in the area. Rooms were comfortable and showers were clean. Would recommend staying here while exploring Kakadu.

A nice and quiet place. It is an older hotel which is gradually been renovated. There is NO ELEVATOR so if you have luggage you will have to lug it upstairs, not very good for older people.
Staff is very friendly and helpfully. Not much to see around this little town but there are some nice trips one can take.
