The staff squeezed us in early without notice. Beautiful air conditioned room with a comfortable bed. Nice bar and art display. Great hotel for such a remote location.

Bellow average and expensive. Nice staff though. We have stayed at other regional accommodation and had better experiences for value of money. Very out dated and cleanliness not up to standard. Food is expensive and not nice! The worst car park I ever seen. I would not recommend possibly consider Cooidna. The whole hotel needs a revamp.

This is somewhere I've wanted to visit for quite some time, ever since I saw it many years ago. A very interesting place to stay with good facilities, however, even though the rooms are Ok, the bathrooms are a bit tired and lacking in maintenance. The grounds also could do with some work and maintenance to improve the overall appearance. Good service and a terrific range of artwork on display and for sale.

I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews? We found it great! Good friendly staff although the front desk manager wasn’t the friendliest! But the rest of the staff tried really hard! The room although a bit dated and could have had the ceiling fan cleaned was cool, comfortable and large, had a fridge for my meds etc. The bath room clean with all the usual soaps and potions
The buffet dinner was very good for the price $49 pp for a good range of Steaks, lamb, Fresh cooked prawns, an Indian chicken curry and rice, salads plus more. The desserts were very reasonable Where in the middle of now where can you get fed like this for $49 no where but here! We had a ground floor court yard room, walk out to the shaded pool - brilliant
all in all a good stay and would recommend to stay here it’s a great base to explore Jabiru and the environs
Oh and here I didn’t wake up to a snake in my outside shower like in another place we stayed at!
Being out here we have to remember where we are logistically and these folk are doing the best they can and should be commended for a job well done 4 Stars

Great location, hotel is definitely outdated and could use a revamp but it is great hotel considering it is in the middle of Kakadu national park

The rooms are so outdated it's not funny. There's a distinct lack of trained staff. The location is amazing

Reception staff were not friendly. Could not care that I was checking in. Would not provide a rollaway bed or any type of mattress for my 12 yo daughter. We got a sunbed from beside the pool and she used that which was very comfortable. I had paid for breakfast for the adults & kids eat free but when we turned up they said kids had to be under 8yo. We had to pay $12.50 each for our kids. The room was so old and dated. Not worth the $365 a night. Stay at Anbinik Resort in a cabin for $175 & much more modern & nicer. Wont be going back there again.

Staff and food in restaurant saved the scoring. Rooms were OK.musty, evident mould on curtains and shelving in bathroom just stuck with tape. Pool area needed a good clean up. Easily heard neighbours. Gent on front reception didn't particularly welcome us, just took us to task on finding cheaper rate through another travel platform. Needs some TLC. Glad we didn't pay full price for stay.

Yes the rooms are out dated & the cleanliness especially of the bathrooms should be of a higher stranded. However the rooms are spacious & serviceable enough, they are everything you need as a base. The pools & grounds are lovely. The restaurant & concierge staff have been amazing & the food is great especially considering how remote it is. This was our first family holiday with our 5 month old son & it has been a pleasure! Would recommend & would return.

Since I have a look at the reviews before. I didn’t have too much expectations on this hotel. If you remember it is only 3 stars hotel. There is only 3 hotels in Jabiru. The location is great. You will be happy with that. Room is ok. Kids love the pool, front have a gallery for aboriginal arts.
The only thing I need to complain is the food. If you don’t want to spend $55 for a really unattractive buffet. You have to wait more than a hour for a burger. Anyway, the burger tasted good.

Unfortunately I didn’t get very good service, I tried checking in at 4pm but my room wasn’t ready
My second night I went to the restaurant and my meal was given to another table and after waiting over an hour I had to enquire about it
The meal was very ordinary and the menu was limited
I won’t consider coming back

Hotel rooms showing their age but did not affect our stay. Restaurant was great especially when you take into consideration how far they are from anywhere. Great pool

Great staff, great meals and restaurant, the rooms are serviced well but in need of updating. Wonderful art. The court yard next to the pool is also a little drab and could do with another pool and/or playground.

The hotel was ok. They have a beautiful art gallery and the food was great in the restaurant. I did find a trail of ants all over the coffee maker in the room so I couldn't use it. Also found a few bugs in the bathroom as well as one crawling on the headboard. However it is the only hotel in the area so you can't really stay anywhere else.

Just OK. Nothing fancy as the pictures suggest. Showing signs of old age. Our rooms had moisture condensed all over the wall and even the bed was like wet.

Yesterday was my 2nd time visit the famous crocs hotel with friends and family, reception is very helpful with recommendation tons of most visit location around the town also sightseeing with helo. Last time we had buffet breakfast but recently due to low season they do ala carte brekky but always satisfied with the exquisite food.

Had breakfast i order eggs bennedict, amazing food so far I've eaten here twice, the chef were super lovely and accommodating with our dietary request.

The only downside is the rooms and interior hotel bit outdated but still a gems in rural area, great cultural ambience, lots of art work on lobby hallway which is good comparison with art gallery cross the street, when looking for art piece.

Overall would highly recommended the restaurant everytime visit Kakadu.

The food is awesome, friendly stuff, great aircon, overall very good stay and happy to see hotels like this in a very Remote location.

The downsides:

The facilities are getting old, especially the bathrooms with sticky floor.
