A lovely pool Coffee food BUT we asked for a Large CP site and what they put us in was more for a 4 wheel drive with a roof top tent. The front of the van was protruding 2 metres out the front of the bay. Our awning was touching the people next to us. On viewing the park there were plenty of Large bays with noone in them. Maybe management need to take a walk around the park and check what size CV can fit the bays.

Very disappointed was put on site 13 which was on a corner and had two way traffic constantly. Lots of dust and uncontrolled noise until 3.30 am. Cancelled 2nd night with a full refund.

Wish we could of stayed longer! Everything was very good for our short but sweet stay at Cooinder. Highly recommend the yellow water cruise.

Camped on an unpowered site on the edge of the resort. A very pleasant place to stay after a few days of bush camping. Good showers etc, two pools and outdoor bar and cafe. Also fish and chip van with modest prices.

Fabulous week spent at this beautiful park. I so love kakadu and dont understand peoples reluctance to visit. I presume it's the park fees. There is so much to see and do and the ranger walks are so interesting.

Great Lodge if you don't mind the roaches. Food option is great. Location is perfect. Pool is great for kids too. No hot tub though

Great stay. Terrific pool, great food. (Espe ially the taste platter of local meats etc. Would be good to label so we k ew which was croc, kangaroo, buffalo etc. Was still super. Yellow waters sunrise tour was amazing and super breakfast after the tour back at Cooinda. Having shuttle bus from Cooinda to cruise and back saved lots of problems with driving/parking. Super stay at Cooinda!

Positive: Relaxed caravan park vibe. With 2 swimming pools. Helpful staff. Can book tours at reception. Negitave: Door code system for the amenities is inconvenient. Showers and toilets were either filthy or closed for cleaning for hours at a time.

Camped here for three nights, very nice place. Decent amenities, and a pleasant communal eating area to spend the evening. Several very good bus tours and cruises depart from here.

Had lunch here twice. Serves local dishes which include crocodile, wallaby and buffalo. Nearest stopover from Yellow Water Cruise so definitely a convenient rest stop before or after the cruise.
