BIG4 Howard Springs Holiday Park

We were a big group for a day visit and one of the staff was so rude to tell us that we need to leave because it is 5pm already even if some of the children are still eating and threaten us that we will be blacklisted for visiting again. Sorry not sorry but that would be our first and last visit in your so called resort that needed un upgrade because it looks like an outdated ii. That staff/owner (whoever he is) too was kind a racist as well not sure why was he so angry. He could have talk to us nicely to tell us that we need to leave but nope we were like a beggar that he was trying to kick out in his place.

We became mebers of big 4 as thinking been a part of a large group that all park owners and mangers had same rules we been traveling around australia for 3 months now and first exprince of this kind did all the booking via phone as soon as we advised we had a dog over there expected weight of 10kg which is not mentioned on howard springs wed site nor on any big4 web sites i could find that was the end of nice time asked to speak with owner was told they dont live there asked to speak with manger not avabaile still no call back.i even offerd a $1000 bond as our german sheapard is so docile and quite he never leaves our side never barks and in the last 3 months never had 1 issue with him in any carvan park to the point we have sevral people and kids every day wanting to pat him i will never re pay to be a member nor will i recommend a big 4 park ever again.i have no issues with any bussiness expressing no pets allowed but advertise it properly if i was big 4 ceo i would look in to this matter.

We had a powered site directly across from the newly renovated ammenities block, which has a disabled access room. The staff here are super friendly, and always available to help with any problems. The park is flat, and would highly recommend this park to anybody travelling with a wheelchair or other restriction on mobility. Also being pet friendly is a great bonus. The outdoor staff ensure that the grounds are kept tidy and clean.

The park looks beautiful, amenities are clean and roomy, pools and kids splash area are great and a section fir dogs to run of leash. Entertainment nights are a great addition
Unfortunately i didnt pay a high price just for the look. I had cold showers 8 out of 10 nights, most of the time with hardly a dribble of water coming through, the washing machines must use all the pressure. We was crammed into a site which meant the pegs for the privacy shade wer having to be put in the middle of the plants.
The power went off everytime something was plugged in so sites near us had the same issues. Then staff member plugged us and another into a different power box. How bout upgradeing box or putting sign up for 2 vans only to be plugged. No water to van on one day, staff said
too many sprinklers on at once.
Except for one young staff member i found the reception staff to be rude, and experienced one arguing to the customer about the size of the site, when he couldnt fit van on. This park already looks the best, but allowing more space per site and upgrading the practical things and respecting the customers that show respect ti you, would make it the best. Please guys a hot shower
or even one that has water would be great.
