Banyan Tree Caravan & Tourist Park

We were unable to make our planned NT trip due to COVID border closures. Banyan Tree was the only accommodation booking for our trip that refused to provide any refund. While I understand the booking was technically non-refundable, so were most of our other bookings and where owners took the extraordinary circumstances into account and provided refunds.

Absolute ripper place to stay, super lush, good food, cold drinks, nice and clean, well maintained, Johnno the host was a legend, welcomed us and would 110% recommend! Thanks for a memorable stay

The caravan park is owned & run by a very pleasant bloke. The staff were very pleasant and are good cooks with good food & drink. Shady green surrounds. Good value for your money. Fully recommend to any traveller.

Great park to stay at. Johno is doing a great job in making the park very attractive.

Good stopping off point in Lichfield National Park, small shop, souvenirs, food, toilets camping and caravan park. Not 5 star, but more than adequate.

Wish I could say something complimentary about this stop. Ten dollar's for two cups and "get yourself a couple of tea bags over there ". The water in the urn was cold. Extremely poor and expensive service. Strongly suggest to be avoided.

Had a fantastic stay here, Johnno is a great host. We loved happy hour at the bar watching a storm roll through. Easy drive to Litchfield National Park.

Lot's of space and shade. Staff are friendly, amenities are clean with large cubicles. No shade over pool and no tent sits near kitchen.

Rooms are clean and tidy and the pool is perfect to cool down on a hot humid day. Would highly recommend to stay here!

A peaceful place to rest for a while. Food is available and the restaurant is licensed. The operators are friendly. The Banyan tree is fascinating. I did not stay overnight, but the camping area seems to be well laid out.

I was part of a tour group who stayed for a couple of hours to have lunch. The owner/manager of the shop came out to show us his pet children’s snake. Some had a go at wearing the snake around the neck. Super cool and friendly of him to do that!

Banyan Tree Park was the absolute perfect spot to stay during a trip to Lichfield Park. It is in a perfect location that many attractions of the area are a very short drive. My cabin was very clean and cute, with beautifully colourful decor. There was a BBQ and outdoor sitting area. There is also access to a pool.
Staff were very friendly and helpful!
Highly recommend!

Really friendly staff. Rooms are clean and presentable. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Great for families.
