Two Men and a Truck

Our removalist team of Yerko, Bruno and Phillipe were INCREDIBLE! We only moved around the corner but we had ALOT of stuff! My husband had a veritable 'hardware store' of tools in our shed including some heavy building machines plus crates of heavy equestrian equipment. This was on top of the regular household items that come with a household of 5 people! The 3 men worked tirelessly for 8.5hrs carrying and manoeuvring everything and were polite, respectful and took the utmost care. I think the load was more than they expected but they never complained (even though it must have been backbreaking work)! I honestly don't know how they did it.
We can't thank the team enough.
Additionally our virtual estimator Samuel made the booking process and subsequent communication so easy.

This by far the worst moving experience I have ever had. These guys were two inexperienced back packers with a rent truck. Our estimate was 300-600 dollars and ended up costing over $2,000. They were rude, unhelpful and damaged the furniture. During the process I approached them to be more careful and told me to complain to the company as they didn't care. I would never ever use this company again and its an absolute joke!

Hopeless is understatement! Do not use them

My movers were excellent, highly professional and polite and with excellent attention to detail. They went beyond expectations to move difficult furniture around difficult coreners and stairs, and assisted in getting everything placed exactly as I wanted it, even though it meant moving some things multiple times. I used these guys a few weeks ago for a last minute move that they were able to organise in a day. They were quick, efficient and easy to communicate with. Will use them again.

The team that moved us were professional, efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It was a tricky move in the pouring rain and to two different apartments but it all went smoothly.

João and Neriony did a great job packing, tieing and looking after all my furniture, very smooth moving experience. Would definitely recommend.

I would not recommend or use this company again after my experience. I booked my move well in advance and advised of difficult access in advance as well. I was given a time window and they called and had it moved forward to earlier in the day. When no one turned up at this time I called to find out the time had been changed again but no one bothered to notify me. The window booked was for between 2pm and 5pm. The removalists turned up at 5pm which was already dark. I had 2 rooms worth of items to move with everything except the bed in the garage ready to move. They took 1.5 hours to load, drove so slowly to drive 15 mins down the road, had a smoking break while charging me per the 15 minute increments then took 2 hours to unload and struggled with the difficult access in the dark. Then they damaged the wall in my new house and I ended up taking boxes from them just to try and get it finished more quickly so I get set up my house from 9pm so I could sleep there. So unimpressed and if they did it just because they were charging by the hour I am just so disappointed since I had very minimal amount of items as I moved all the small things myself. Will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else. Charged me so much more than a fixed price move I was quoted so definitely not worth using them.

Very professional. My unit neighbours didn't even know they were moving stuff out nor were the neighbours @ our new unit inconvenienced. Impressive. A couple of neighbours actually asked me for the removalist contact details for when they move!

Drivers charged me for taking a break after the pick-up, found them up the street ten minutes after the pick was completed at the side of the road, decided to stop at the servo around the corner to see how long they would be, another ten minutes passed before they drove off to the tip. Turned a one hour job into a two hour iob. Feels like being ripped off to me this morning when I saw the 480 dollar charge on my card.

Team was great to work with, communication was great from the begining and men who we worked with were fantastic. Highly reccomend their service they take care and are very efficient.

Very unprofessional, inefficient. My mum had used them to move stuff from Gladesville to Turramurra.

My mum who was also there with them at Gladesville also left the same time they did to head to Turramurra. But what do you know, my mum arrived in Turramurra first only then to wait for another hour for these people to arrive…

Where were they in that hour? Why were they late? It was because they stopped for lunch - which they still charged for! Definitely won’t recommend these guys.

Very responsive and flexible with requests. Very professional, caring, and careful. Greatly appreciated the service by the truck team and office team. Completely hassle free.

WORST MOVE EVER and NOW Dealing with INSURANCE – DISGRACEFUL & DISHONEST – Do the right thing Two Men and a Truck!
My move happened 2 and a half weeks ago. It also rained in the evening. There were 2 crews working. One at Hornsby and one at Turramurra. I had covered all my furniture in heavy duty plastic and everything else was boxed. (Photos of all my furniture covered in plastic that I wrapped were sent to their claims department along with proof of purchase of mattress.) The first crew sat in the truck for an hour waiting for the downpour to stop- absolutely fine with that. But here’s the rub. The crew that had my brand new 4 week old mattress- placed it on the wet ground and at the same time ripped the plastic. The mattress was drenched and brown on one side. Did they tell me this? NO. They placed my wet mattress in my bedroom on the carpet and removed the plastic. DECEITFUL. When I arrived at Turramurra and went into my bedroom, I moved the mattress to make room for other items. This is when I discovered that it was drenched. I asked one of the removalists why was my mattress wet – he just stared blankly and ignored me, during the evening I asked this question twice – No response. As per Consumer Protection a business providing a service ie the removalists (reps of Two men and a Truck) would have reasonably foreseen the problem that placing a mattress on the wet ground would damage the mattress. This is NEGLIGENCE. The mattress took 5 days to dry and is now internally damaged. I am seeking compensation and their comment is “I have spoken to both teams and they have both confirmed that they had the items wrapped in plastic to protect them during the heavy downfall. The team have advised that they placed the mattress in the bedroom and they removed the plastic covering. Unfortunately the weather is something that we cannot control even with using aids of wrapping furniture in plastic furniture can still get wet. I understand the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. We have concluded your move under our terms and conditions and we respect your decisions to seek further advice. ”
Inconvenience? – I have no mattress to sleep on. The REP did not even read my email properly. Did not look at the evidence, the facts and the proof. Again they did not wrap any of my items in plastic – I DID – NOTHING ELSE WAS DAMAGED – BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE WAS PLACED ON THE WET GROUND. They did not tell me they placed the mattress in water. Why did they remove the plastic? Why didn’t they remove plastic from all my furniture?
Do the right thing 2 Men and a Truck. Compensate me for the full value of my brand new mattress that was ruined, my email correspondence has obviously fell on deaf ears.
