Joao Faria and Renan were incredible. They were incredibly efficient, flexible allowing us to do multiple stops to pick up things on the way, so skilled at packing / filling the space, kept everything in good condition, and did it all with a smile! Fantastic experience all round.

The Marcus borges team from Two Men and a Truck were great. Move on the day was easy and no fuss. They were very careful with all our furniture and moving around tight staircases and doorways without even a bump. The team asked exactly where I wanted all my furniture and helped put everything into place.

This review is in regards to Two Men and a Truck, the two removalists they assigned me, and the move manager Mac Olano.

Let me ask you, do you like wasting time AND money? Do you like having your things broken? Do you like feeling coerced and threatened into paying for a service that is amatuerish at best?

Then you've come to the right company.

They charged me $1500 for a 1 bedroom move, minimal boxes and furniture, between 2 very close suburbs, with easy access.

I ordered the services of this removalist company over the weekend and in all my years using removalists, this was by far the worst (and most expensive) one i've ever used, they arrived at the wrong time that I booked (I booked for 11am, they arrived at 10am, so I wasn't prepared), the 2 movers had been very new to the company (confirmed to me by themselves, they had only been in Australia for 2 months total). They took AGES to take my things and didn't know how to properly take and organise things, either they were very new to the job (honestly felt like it was their first job) or they were purposefully told to go slow (I think it's probably a mix of both).

They spent from 10am to 3pm in my first apartment at Redfern, packing away roughly 10 boxes, a couch, 2 tvs, a desk, a fridge and a washing machine. They broke one of my speakers in the process.

They finally arrived to my new apartment in Maroubra, and spent ages unpacking and unsure of where to place items, at this point myself and my partner had to help them by rearranging and moving items for them.

The process ended, took almost 7 hours total and I was hit with a $1500 fee, which I told them I was refusing to pay, they then told me that they wouldn't leave my premises unless I signed to say they had completed the work, I felt coerced into signing.

As soon as I signed, their manager, Mac Olano, called me and honestly, this bloke was something else, he was extremely unsympathetic, blunt and rude. He kept making up excuses as to why the services took so long, would claim there was issues with the elevators (there wasn't, confirmed by the building manager), then claimed there was issues with access to the new apartment (there wasn't, confirmed by taking photos of the distance of the truck to my apartment), and told me that if I refused to pay he would get debt collectors onto me, he hung up the phone on me, leaving me upset.

I then found out that I had been charged the full amount anyways.

I have reached out to them, to no response, stating that I intend to contact Fair Trading about the matter.

Long story short, don't use these guys, avoid at all costs.

A week ago today I moved with Three Men and a Truck. It was a complicated move - three pickups - two from storage units and one from a friend's home - before arriving at the drop off point. The final pick-up involved a lot of stairs, with not a lot of room to manoeuvre, and moving a very heavy, large sofa bed. Camillo's team were AMAZING! No issues and very careful with the furniture and the home of my friend. I still don't know how they managed it! The guys were great (so sorry I didn't get their names correctly) - very helpful and careful with all of my things.

The only comment that I would make was that the original quote did not reflect the actual time required and I was left a bit stunned with the final cost. I would recommend, that if you are doing a move that is unusual ie not a straightforward house move, then triple check the times, amount to be moved and add in some contingency.

My entire move took 8.5 hours in the end.
It was also short notice and they were able to fit me in and I'm very grateful for that.

Very good service done today by three very professional men. Polite and well mannered. Was considerate of the furniture and asked us where we want things instead of just leaving in places they thought it would go.
Was careful with all furniture and made sure it was secure with blankets and tape.
Time effective and reasonable price.
Would recommend to anyone who is asking for a removalist.

Long day but the guys were tetris Duracell bunnies the whole time. It was great to not have to explain things over and over too. Felt like I was in good hands.

This is by far the best removalists I’ve worked with. Caio, Felipe and Fabricio were really efficient, fast and so professional. They had to deal with lots of stairs, tricky entry ways and very heavy timber furniture. They did it all with a smile and great attitude. Amazing service! I highly recommend this company.

When the 1st truck was running late another truck was dispatched to meet the deadline at the auction house. Caio and his partner were very easy to deal with and pleasant. They acted professionally & adhered to the loading dock rules in the apartment complex. Would use these removalists again.

Cannot recommend more highly. The team was professional and careful. Despite a tricky move (lots and lots of stairs), the process was easy for us and done in the quoted timeframe. Expert truck handling.

Next move I will hire them again!

Terrible, lied about how long it took them Waa meant to be 350 but with an extra couple of hours should have been around 600 I got charged nearly 100 dollars, also scuffed multiple walls on the way out of my place which is going to be taken out of my bond. The complaints person was so rude and abrupt in his emails there was no apologies just telling me im in the wrong I strongly do not recommend these lot

So awfully terrible that we had made an appointment with them and have cc for to confirm for five hours job a week ago. On the day and they would called 2 hours before the job started and we were told they had to cancel on us due to their staff overwork in the morning. No backup plan and just hang you in the middle take it or leave it. They would ask for money after, asking if you just to add one more person on the job and make sure you would go for it. Go for this moving company at your own risk!

Contacted them to try to get a quote - got an email saying they would be in touch - then nothing.

Booked in via their website and accepted their quote. A week later they email me to tell me they're fully hooked.

Why send me the quote in the first place? Why burn a week of my time during a busy period when I could have organized another mover?

Don't waste your time and money with these clowns.

The whole experience was great. The service was easy to book, and the follow up call for details of my move was thorough. Joao and Neriony were punctual, careful, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again or to recommend them to others.

I used two men and a truck to move out of a large apartment complex which can be tricky to navigate. The guys were brilliant, incredibly polite and friendly, really making the move a pleasurable experience. Highly recommend and will use again.
