The Hills Clinic Hospital reviews
75 I have a downsyndrome brother who has been seeing psychiatrist Dr Hafiz who is a beautiful, patient and kind doctor - he is always willing to help and listen to the needs for the welfare of my brother who unfortunately has developed mental illness similar to schizophrenia so I highly recommend him. Five stars for Dr Hafiz.
I am compelled to raise this publicly so your team can address this issue (which I can read is a repetitive one that needs to be addressed across all your admin and receptionists).
What the issue here is unfortunately is not the doctor but the receptionist NICOLA. She is rude, non responsiveness, and simply doesnt care about patients who desperately need the doctor's help. She abruptly always thinks her behaviour towards patients and their family is acceptable while neglecting them for weeks or months with a simple response.
We have to go through her to get to Dr Hafiz but after 3-5 emails, calls and desperate pleas for her to respond, still nothing for over 3 months now. Still waiting NICOLA.if my brother hurts himself or the general public, do I get to hold you accountable for not giving us the appt with the doctor we desperately need asap?
How can a clinic who is so critical to our mental health have a receptionist who is absolutely shocking with customer service and care for patients? ZERO stars for Nicola. Total embarrassment for the reputation of this clinic. She is our first point of contact, or only contact but we get nothing from her.
This clinic needs to do better for the needs of their patients. How NICOLA is still employed here I am absolutely shocked with so many complaints - where is the training to simply be polite, respectful. Human? !
"While I generally refrain from negative reviews, I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the service provided by Dr. Nazir Hafiz at the Hills Clinic in Kellyville. As a representative for an NDIS customer, I've found Dr. Hafiz's communication skills lacking, with unreturned emails and calls. During recent visits, it's been evident that there's minimal interest in addressing or even acknowledging the customer's needs. The focus seems solely on the monetary aspect, with $300 appearing to be the primary concern. It's disheartening when a healthcare professional seems disconnected from the patient's well-being. Improvement in patient-centered care and communication is crucial for any healthcare service. "
Disgusting!
The receptionist are terrible, so dismissive!
Didn’t even bother making an appointment, if this is what you’re greeted with before the appointment. These people should not be working reception for mental health!
Had to call 5 times before they picked up. Was told to expect a call back within a few days after sending a referral for the physiatrist after calling them for an update they said the same thing and still had no answer and no phone call back. Terrible
Hills clinic is not bad. But it is barely better than that. If you are in there for AOD, then you will be struggling unless you are there for a quicky time away. They are run unlike any clinic I have been to, and that's a few. They don't realize anyone can walk into this joint and supply addicts, making the place very unsavoury for recovering people. They don't test people except for maybe a CBC at admission. Program is tedious and in need of review. I wish my private health fund could help but they can't. Wesley clinic is probs not as nice, but when you get out of rehab, you will actually be well. Or at least much better.
Complained about a patient openly smoking drugs on property several times but they did nothing. Drugs are everywhere here. Nurses asked why I was anxious and I told them my friend had cancer and they laughed in my face. Physically hurting a patient while in a seizure. The only female Pysch tried to convince me I was "just thinking I'm a boy". Older adult patients kept rubbing and touching the minors patients and nothing was done about it, yet you will get kicked out if you step over the line in someone's room. Nurses obviously play favourites, especially the night nurses with their god complex. One of the "counselors" Pete intimidated some patients in CBT til the point of several panic attacks. Another one told a patient that his life is all downhill after finding out was his birthday. Zero accessibility for people with autism, chronic illness, gender dysphoria, ect. These "doctors" are just here for the paycheck, they don't care. They will constantly feed you valium instead of helping. If someone gets caught self-harming, they will kick them out instead of helping them. You will get absolutely nothing out of this stay, truly a waste of money. Find another private mental health clinic because this place is absolutely hell for everyone in here that actually wants help. I got threatened discharged for swearing but apparently smoking drugs is okay? Good job. Enjoy wasting your 20k might as well buy a nice car, because that will sure as hell make you more happier than this place.
Terrible, almost impossible to get in contact with the clinic and when you do get in touch staff are rude and absolutely useless!
I was withdrawing from alcohol, am autistic and was suicidal. They kicked me out on the street for swearing, when I was in this state. Zero care for patients. Lucky to be alive
My experiences at The Hills Clinic have been okay for some time. My previous psychiatrist Dr Nadir Hafiz has always been polite to me, however, doesn't seem very interested in me the whole time. I've been wanting to update my meds for nearly two years ago. Sadly he refused my request and told me to stick with it. I am really not happy with him and right now I am seeking another psychiatrist who can better help me. Definitely do not recommend Nadir Hafiz.
Based on my experienced, about 5 appointments and requests; I am giving feedback to the admins, receptions and the clerical employees at the Kelly Ville Clinic. They are very rude, unprofessional and lazy. Negative star.
The doctors are great, 5 stars.
Never replied to a single email I sent and would not pick up the enquiry phone line. Very disappointing experience. When I finally got through on the phone after 5 weeks the admin officer (Klimentina Capeski) started going off at me and saying they can’t possibly get to everyone. She then went on to tell me my referral was for something different to what I was there for. People like that should not be allowed to speak to customers let alone people needing support.
“Reception attended from 8am - 5pm Mon-fri” but they don’t answer the phone even at 8: 30am.
Horrible clinic including Dr Nadir Hafiz who is not at all clever in diagnosing the patient and giving the correct medication. Diagnoses me with generalised anxiety disorder and autism spectrum disorder, later I find out I am not on the autism spectrum. Completely neglected another important aspect of my condition. Refused to prescribe enough medication to control my anxiety and depression, despite being on a very small dose. Resulted me getting much worse, multiple suicide attempts and hospital admissions later, still refused to prescribe medication. After another doctor took over, found out I had a much more sinister and serious psychiatric condition that required much more medication which I was prescribed and have now recovered. Had I stayed with this doctor, I would have probably succeeded in killing myself! I would advise anyone to choose another doctor, he simply does not prescribe enough medication and often gives a wrong diagnosis!
Hi To all Hills Clinic Staff and Dr Wankhede
We had an unexpected supportive experience at the clinic, my wife was taken care of like a family and Dr Wankhede, Ashley and the nursing staff was exceptional. She is discharged from the clinic and is recovering at home now.
If ever she need to go for rehab I will pick this place without any doubt
Thanks, Jo, Ashley, Kelley and Dr Wankhede
Kind regards
Raj
The rehabilitation staff and centre are absolutely amazing and genuinely wish to help everyone who comes through these doors to get healed and reach the best version of themselves possible. I have been absolutely humbled by the love and care and support I’ve received, not only from the staff, but from the beautiful guests here in the clinic alongside me.
Thank you for helping us all get better.
God bless you all.
- Christopher
Admitted my child to this clinic for mental health reasons.we live 6hrs drive from Sydney.
The clinic then discarged my child without notifying parents, without documentation and without meds.
Clinic has so far refused all requests for information so parents can understand what happened and how a minor was able to be discharged without parental consent.
I had called to confirm a specific time and date for an appointment I had booked in person for December, after my previous appointment which was in July. When I had called to check, I was told that there was no booking made in December.
Admin said, as I do not know the date of the appointment there must have been no appointment made at all.
However, my father was with me in person and too can recall the receptionist confirming that she had booked me in for this December which is the Dr’s earliest availability.
No accountability taken, no explanation was given, no sincerity in the apology and I had been gaslit over the phone.
My experience with the administrative department of the clinic has been quite poor.
I too work in Medical Administration, it’s appalling to be treated this way as a patient.
Dr Ahmed is a brilliant Dr though.
Would be great if patient’s could make bookings, communicate and be sincerely served without being ridiculed for basic inquiries and seeking clarity.
Please don't waste your time and effort coming here. Too many friendly visitors in the evenings, bringing in "special treats" for the patients. It's pretty much an open house. The staff generally herd the patients around like cattle. Their business model is to - heavily medicate/sedate the patients. Then throw the patients in with some "expert" wind-bag who rambles on in dull and mindless group sessions.
My experience with the hills clinic has always been great I don’t have anything negative to say about them
They have helped me so much over the past 12 months and I’m so grateful that places like this exist
Worst ever went in meeting with some other person felt very uncomfortable was bit weird talk to a stranger well and talk about another person at same time oh and the coast rip of
