Without doubt the worst customer service face to face encounter ever. Made to feel I was personally ripping him off. I was given the goodwill gesture appointment by VW, I had no idea it even existed to be honest and to be belittled in such a manner outside was humiliating. He even made the error that I was not booked in

These guys are great. They always give me very personal service and every time I've come to them for sales it just feels like that actually care about the cars and have found the best prices on the market.

We had a really good experience here. All the staff and particularly Lorelei were helpful and efficient. They went "over & above" for us.

Andrew from Sydney City Volkswagen could not have been more helpful. We found him very straight forward and honourable and more than happy to make sure things worked for us. He really went out of his way to make the whole process pleasant and easy. TBH I was nervous going in, aware of the reputation of some car sales people, but with SCV I didn't feel like I was being fleeced at every turn. On the contrary I think this business relies on a reputation for honesty and straight dealing and as a result they get return customers. Very happy with SCV and would definitely do business with them again and recommend them.

Worst experience ever. I have purchased new cars from 3 different dealerships over the last 10 years and I have got to say I have never been treated with the disrespect of this dealership. I have asked three times to be put in contact with the general manager and all my requests have been ignored. The sales woman (Lorelei) undervalued my trade in by $8k and then tried to sell me a car at full price only with my trade in. I had a friend contact another sales person (Michael) at the same dealership and they provided the same car at $4k less without any trade in. When Lorelei asked how she could get my business I told her I had a better deal from Michael and questioned why she could only do the deal with my undervalued trade in and she responded "I'm acting under the boss' instructions". Apparently boss instructions to rip people off. Stay away!
I ended up purchasing from another VW dealership and the experience was miles apart.

I have bought a VW Tiguan STI 162 Highline from Michael Sounders with finance with assistance of Jesse Hang. From the day I told them to buy to the car ready for pick up, only took 48 hours! The level of service and efficiency was high. I'm very happy with the result!

Highly recommend buying your vehicle here. Keith Borg is a great salesman and went above and beyond to help me with the whole process of purchasing a new Caddy Crewvan. Rhiannon Murphy in the finance department is amazing and took the time to carefully explain everything to me to make sure i understood before i signed on the dotted line.
The extra care and patience to me goes a long way these days and is hard to find.

VW Sydney sold me a car with illegal tyre tread, they also sold it without updating the Sat Nav, which was three years out of date and they didn’t disclose the finance fees prior to me coming in to sign the deal. The Finance fees also made the offer they had put on the table very uncompetitive. The final icing on the cake was the large paint chip on the front of the car which had been badly repaired and the covered up flaked off in the first wash. I even discussed with the salesman when I was looking at the car how good the body work was and he agreed.

Once I complained they agreed to replace the two illegal front tyres without admitting any fault and they did update the Sat Nav. Also the finance fees were halved once I threatened to walk when I came to pick up the car and to be honest I wish I had walked. They have refused to repair the bad paint chip and they still don’t accept that they sold me an illegal car that I was driving around in for 6 weeks before I noticed when I was checking the tyre pressures. I even have an independent report saying the tyres are illegal but the response from VW was that they person is lying because he is trying to sell me new tyres. This is slanderous and even worse the person who checked the treads didn’t change me and he was aware at the time that if they were illegal that I would be going back to VW to resolve the issue.

So to sum up DON’T TRUST these people. They will lie to get a sale.

Replacing the incredible old car we had for 22 years would not be easy but I could not have been more pleased with the assistance we received from Sydney City Volkswagen, in particular our sales consultant Michael Saunders for his advice and understanding of our needs. Delighted with the purchase of our new VW Golf and the deal we obtained, in fact I could not fault any of the team we met there finding them friendly and efficient.

I had a great experience with my recent purchase from Sydney City Volkswagen. My saleperson Lorelei was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and never felt like she was pushing to 'make-the-sale'. She went out of her way to help us get possession of our car on a Friday afternoon. The ribbon on the car was an extra nice touch! I would recommend SCV and especially Lorelei to anyone thinking of purchasing a new car.

Pretty poor performance from this dealership. My mate had booked an appointment to try one of their new models. The sales person fell ill and knocked off early. There was no one available when we showed up. There was no effort made to find anyone to welcome us or to offer a solution to the cancelled appointment (that we also weren’t made aware of prior to arriving). After waiting around for 25 minutes we enquired about the wait time. There was no time given, just that “no one was available at the moment”. Needless to say we left to go to another dealership (different brand) to receive a better welcome and a better overall experience.
