Popped into the dealership as have a coolant leak in my 3 year old van which is under warranty. Was told to call the desk to book it in. Phoned front desk was told no appointments until June (on 4th May). Told them it’s a warranty issue and the van has a problem so it’s urgent. Was told someone will call me back. Nobody called me back. Obviously. What’s the point in buying a new vehicle with 5 year warranty if you can’t get help from VW when there’s a problem? Am I supposed to just pay another mechanic to fix it? Ridiculous, and unfortunately predictable customer service experience.

I found my dealings with Lorelei to be very pleasant, informative and stress free. She was very patient and every question was fully answered. Lorelei kept me informed of the progress of my order and sent me a video of my new TCross when it arrived.
Lorelei took time to fully explain and demonstrate the vehicle when I picked it up and rang me a day later to see if I had any further questions.
I would not hesitate to recommend Lorelei and Sydney City Volkswagen.

The biggest bunch of cowboys. Do not take your car here to get serviced. Took my car in for a warranty repair. The first time, they ran out of time to do it. Re booked it for 2 weeks later and they forgot to do it.

They then have the audacity to ask me not to raise my voice when in the showroom because of their incompetence. Ha!

Exceptional friendly fast Service, i purchased a Volkswagen Passat 2021 through Lorelei the representative. Terrible customer service! Save your money, don't buy VW and definitely don't go to Sydney City VW dealership! Especially, Jonathan Zaronias was very rude and impatient, he hung up multiple times and is not transparent with the customer. Absolutely, worst customer service experience.

I have been a long time Touareg owner and we purchased our 2021 Touareg V8 through Sydney City Volkswagen. Our relationship with these guys has been fantastic since I placed the order with Peta and more recently their after sales service has exceeded my expectations in all respects. More importantly for me, the Senior Technician knows Touaregs and our Tow Bar fitment (and associated software changes) and more recently Software updates has been perfect. Not many VW dealers really 'know' the Touareg. In my opinion these guys have this vehicle mastered. Keep up the great work and massive kudos to Jonathon Z for his enthusiasm! We look forward to a long relationship with you all.

I bought an Amarok elsewhere (about 1yr ago) and had trouble starting it a few days later. So I decided to call my local VW service centre to see if it was something simple and that I might be able to get to the problem over the phone quickly with 1 of the mechanics on duty, however the receptionist at the time said that " it was against the rules for mechanics to talk to clients on the phone and that I need to call a tow truck to get it towed there and that there was a service wait of 3 days". I am very disappointed that my local VW service centre couldn't take a few mins to try help.

A big thank you to Rhys and Sydney City Volkswagen for their excellent service! I love driving my T-Cross and highly recommend the dealership for their professional service with a personal touch.

Was greeted by the smiling Sales Consultant Shin (Shintaro) upon arrival. Very amiable and professional young man. Who quickly got us through the processes of getting us into a test drive. The kind of person that puts you at ease and makes to want to do business just because they have that pleasant demeanor. The courtesies continued inside the nicely laid out showroom and a followup no hassle phone call days later. Would highly recommend Sydney City VW from this very positive car inquiry experience.

Experienced absolute rubbish customer service when tried to deal with a recall matter. Don't be fooled by their service when you were first buying the car, it is completely different when you are coming back for a recall or any other sevice. Too late once you've already bought it. Just have to deal with this unpleasant service the rest of your cars lifetime.

Blew a tyre on the M5 - drove on the flat tyre to VW to get a new one. They didn’t have my size (Audi A5). But they happily changed to my spare tyre free of charge! Oh and free coffee as well.

Failed to fix a simple radio console and the service team were threatening and belligerent when i asked for a refund!
My car was kept for 5 hours while i waited with my child, not fixed and then Mat had the audacity to deny me a refund and make threats.

Since this review and my complaint, VW has apologied and offered very good service. I would now recommend them.
