Bought a VW Tiguan with 5 years warranty. I've had it for 5 months but only been driving for 2 months as ive been working away. I've only done 2500ks on it since buying it pre owned. I was told before I purchased it that everything was checked and up to scratch but clearly the battery wasn't as its failed and cost me 450 dollars to fix. I've contacted the dealership (Dejan) and explained to him I've barely drove the car and the battery's failed but he's no interest in helping. Avoid this dealership as from my experience a lot was promised when selling the car but no one wanted to know or help about this problem I had they wanted to charge me 550 dollars.

I should’ve read reviews first place. I had oil leaking issue last year and went to VW botany. They charged $2800 for new parts and labour. They said everything was fixed. Just after one year started leaking again same as before. And they said they gonna check and might leaking from another part. Full of incapable inexpert unskilled workers. They checked and replaced parts but now they are saying check again. They said no more leaking. I don’t trust them. I am confusing if they really checked properly and changed new parts on it. Very bad bad service

This is my first time buying a car alone. The customer service was excellent Shoutout to Alfie and Andrew, who not only strive for a great deal for me, but also answered all of my questions with patience.

Big Shoutout to the Commercial Vehicles Team! I came in on Saturday to see if I am in luck to get some measurements off a Crafter for a Camper conversion and was stoked to find that they had one available we were after.
It has been just registered to be a demo, still with all the transport wrapping around it, so they got it ready for a test drive Monday morning after that, we purchased it straight away. They even got the car ready and I picked it up in the arvo even though the estimate was for the next day.
Super happy with the Crafter and such a pleasure to deal with Sam from the Commercial Sales team!

Helped my dad to take delivery of his new car. All staff provided a positive interaction and acknowledged us in a friendly manner. The handover was thorough and clear. We left, with the new car with nothing short of a positive experience.

I didn't make it past the T Roc R without wanting a test drive.
Alfie got me into a test drive from get go and from then on he was happy to help without being pushy.
Any questions I had, Alfie answered and made himself available at any time of the day.
Experience was flawless which in return made the whole process so easy and stress free.
VW has amazing cars but an even better team behind the scenes.

Recently visited the showroom to look at changing my car. Was greeted and looked after by Alfie who was an absolute delight! He was professional and listened to my needs, he did not push or pressure me at any point during the process. My whole experience was outstanding and he is a credit to the team! Just an update on the review I placed 4 years ago!

I was trying to sell my car as I purchased a new one.

The professional service and honest dealing I received from Sydney City Volkswagen isn’t new to myself.

Dejan was straight forward on the phone which encouraged me to bring the car for inspection.
No changes on the price I received over the phone after inspected the car, which is very unlikely with other dealers these days, thanks to Goran.

It did not take more than 15 minutes to finalise everything.

Again, thank you Goran and Dejan for your honesty and the quick professional service you provided.

I recommend Sydney City Volkswagen for anyone who is looking for a quick fair sale.

I have not received such a great service with purchasing a car in the past 10 years or more as the one I received from Matthew and Joshua.

Matthew was very helpful in giving a good trade in price for my old car, very responsive in updating me with the details of the new car arrival via calls and sms.
He gave me an excellent professional introduction about the new car also followed me up with a courtesy call few days after I received the car checking if I have any issues and offered help in the future if needed. He deserves 5 stars in customer service and communication skills.

Joshua was very helpful all the way through finance process, very responsive via emails and phone calls. He explains all finance programmes and helped me in choosing the best one fits me. Also offered me different insurance policies which has great discounts. No doubt that he deserves 5 stars as well.

Having spent 3 hours looking at Kia, Mercedes, Toyota, and a few others we decided we liked Volkswagen and wow, did we head to the right place! Michael and the team at SCT were really helpful and the range to pick from was almost too good. Seriously, the selection was brilliant and loads of price options.

We test drove two cars on Saturday 4pm it’s now Wednesday lunch and that car we wanted is now in our driveway.

Yesterday, Bram, Mat D, Jono and Julian were my lifesavers! I had to change my plates around the corner at Botany Service NSW, and I forgot to bring a screwdriver. Not only did these boys provide me one, they also offered to help me unscrew the plates. I don't even own a Volkswagon! If this is how they treat strangers who are not customers, then I can only imagine the level of service provided to regular customers. All I can say is thank you very much guys!

Very good service received from the team here. Matt and Andrew were very friendly and i really liked the fact that i wasnt pushed into my purchase unlike other car sales attendants at other places.

The best car dealership in the world! From the time you get out of your car in the car park and walk into the the showroom they've got you covered! They are ALL so so friendly and welcoming! They are efficient and very well informed about all their cars. They’ll match you to your dream car based off your wants and needs! They are honest and extremely helpful!
I sent in a test drive request online on a Sunday night and Lily got back to me first thing Monday morning. She also sent me an email with a video of the car I was after and booked me in for a test drive. Andrew welcomed me when I went in for a test drive and gave me all the information I needed.
I was then escorted to the other side to make payment and I dealt with Max who was so friendly and crunched up the best numbers for me!

They offer you tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, cookies.etc
They literally treat you like royalty and treat everyone with so much grace and kindness!

I’ve been to dealerships where when I walk in I’m judged/racially profiled because I’m black African. So I can 200% CONFIRM that Sydney City VW does not look at your skin colour and make assumptions about you based off your nationality/background! EVERYONE is welcomed and treated like royalty and treated with so much respect!

You’d think this was enough but there’s more! They have amazing cars! Great deals on the cars! I LOVE MY CAR SO SO SO MUCH! I love the features, the finish of the car, the protective coating that was put on both interior and exterior!

I could go on and on and on about how this is the best place to buy your car but I think I’ll leave it here.

Terrible customer service! Save your money, don't buy VW and definitely don't go to Sydney City VW dealership! Especially, Jonathan Zaronias was very rude and impatient, he hung up multiple times and is not transparent with the customer! Absolutely, worst customer service experience! Can't do his job properly!

I’ve been meaning to review these guys for ages but it wasn’t until I got a great experience at my local mechanic it reminded me how bad Sydney City Volkswagen was.

I got a service and was advised by the service team (the gentleman was called Jonathan Z)
that all 4 x break pads needed replacement as they were all becoming a poor standard. At the time I wasn’t cashed up and was tossing on whether I should do the repair in the one go or not and Jonathan said; “Volkswagen had a deal and I should take it up while it was on, even just do two break pads and do the other two on the next service”… (something along the lines of that) - so I did!

Well the next service came around and I had been intentionally saving money for these other 2 break pads over months.
I coincidentally get Johnathan again to assist me for my next service, I raised my concerns with my 2 older break pads but miraculously… MIRACULOUSLY! They had some how become great and in working condition…. He’d forgotten our conversation and his own lie. Johnie boy stitched me up hard!

They obviously have sales targets to make during a service and make up rubbish so you fall for it.
Don’t trust these guys. Typical car salesmen.
