Spotlight Lidcombe

They took all my details to set up membership but the next time I visited they said I had no account. Same thing happened at the Birkenhead shop so this is twice now. Starting to think they just want my personal information? No longer giving them the details.

Great place to get all my crafting needs. Can be very pricey. I tend to find the same things on eBay at a third of the price. The only issue is waiting for it to arrive from China, but hey there usually have free postage. Finding staff can be a hit and a miss depending on the day.

Phone services are very poor, phoned 10 times to know if there was an item in stock never had an answer.to ended up driving there and after speaking to someone about returning a sewing machine still sealed in the box said that they don’t accept return when on the receipt says 28 days change of mind return with sealed box.

Love the selection at this Spotlight. This have a great range of fabric and crafts. I find this is not overly picked through as well. It's open late and great access from the top car park. Staff are friendly

Helpful staff! I was looking for a blanket and they went all around the store with me to find it. Too bad it was out of stock

Huge store with thousands of products, easy to find your way around if you know what your looking for and where it is. Plenty of parking. Customer service isn't the best, lack of care is clearly evident.

A place to get needs for sewing and craft. If you go ensure you get Christina's help a great source of knowledge. Parking on top.

Very unfriendly staff. Expensive party suppliers. Hard to find things as things are all over the place.

Good for the crafter or sewing for kids. A fair range of fabric for the sewer, but not always easy to find what you need. The service staff are friendly though, and it's a pleasant centre to visit.

We always get what we want that we don't find in other stores. Shopped there for curtains and we found exactly the right length that suits our purpose. Price not cheap but reasonable.

You always find parking in the complex. It's a huge store and has lots of great products, but let's face it, the staff there can afford to be more pleasant. I have never, ever seen one smile or have a sunny disposition even in the mornings. Customer service is essential to this business and the store can be more successful if management can offer these workers ideas on being polite at the very least. Why is every worker so unhappy? Kindness and being courteous are free, so why aren't they?

Such an amazing place.so many interesting crafty materials to buy. Today we bought a queen size mattress topper and a king size doona. 40% off both items.such a good deal.cotton and made by Tontine.

Great store but it would be better with more material options! Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.

Love coming to Lidcombe spotlight. Theres plenty of variety and the staff are amazingly friendly. One of the ladies at the checkout could even tell that one of the flower buds was missing from a bouquet i was about to purchase and told me to go back and grab another posie. Its the little thoughts that count.:)

Huge store. Phenomenal product range. Lovely, attentive and very customer centric staff. Ample free on-site parking. Would definitely highly recommend a visit even if you're not in the area.

I love going to Lidcombe Spotlight, the ladies are fantastic especially one of the staff whom I love to chit chat, she takes the time to talk to you. Every time I go visit the store she would greet everyone with a great big smile (shame i didn't grab her name). Spotlight is great it has so much baking products, it's a one stop shop.

Terrible place! In busy days around Christmas time they do not have a plastic bag! They impose on you to buy small bag $2 or carry the items on your hand, Never seen like that anywhere else.
