68I like usiing Spotlight as it offers a lot of choices of bed linen, yarn for people who knit, knitting needles, and crochet accessories. It is also a great place to shop for kitchen accessories. However, to.my mind, the customer service needs to improve as it took me 20 minutes to pay for knitting needles despite of being a first in the lineup while both cashiers were servicing a customer.
Terrible service had to wait for over 25 minutes at the register, think twice to go on the weekends its the worst service in the world.
Had a bad experience in customer service. Around lunchtime only 1 person serving the other was fixated on the entry & exit automated gates. The other was dealing with a customer that wanted to return a sewing machine but did not have the required information and was being difficult.
The line of people at the time was long and like me were getting frustrated.
The store itself is disorganised and needs a facelift.
You can browse n look for things u need on your own as not all staff are helpful. Not many staff around to ask questions about their location or advice.

Have visited this store twice in the past 5 days. Only one person on the main till which resulted in a long queue and wait. Need more staff to man tills.
Usually love spotlight but today was a different story. Waiting over half an hour in line at the haberdashery counter only to be then pushed in by someone else and the lady at the counter did nothing about it, not event a sorry when she served me
Ridiculous Wait to get a price check, or any question for that matter. Been here a few times and this store especially the fabric section is badly staffed. Won’t be back.
Literally the worst customer service ever! If you need help, dont go there.if you need a trolley, do not go there.if you have a question, do not go there. Wasted my time and you lost $1500 spotlight, not that you care!
Unfortunately for us, it was Sunday Lunchtime, on Mothers Day, not enough people on Cash Registers, and customer demands refund without Receipt on a sewing machine now, and another custer wants a refund, manager leaves for lunch break, so Loong Queue's not moving anytime soon.
Terrible customer service. How dare you put a sign saying no abuse tolerated but you have the right to be so rude and make me feel abused. I hope you train your staff to be kind. This is reference to the young lady at the last check out working the 3pm shift on 30th may 2021.
I would have just said understaffed, but I think it was just that the staff members were more interested in talking to each other than helping me find what I was looking for. It’s not very helpful to just point to the other side of the store. I had already looked there.
Bought 4 items at the shops but found out two items are priced incorrectly. The price signage at the basket are outdated, obviously they don’t know about it until a customer like me asked for the price difference. They simply said the price cannot be honoured rather than admitting it was their fault.
Disappointed with the overall experience
Visited afternoon 6th May. Couldn’t have made my visit any worse for myself and other shoppers. Staff don’t know where items are and they don’t care. Lady at the registers couldn’t have gone any slower even when the line got longer and longer. 2 other staff walked up and were chatting and laughing but not serving customers. Staff have a bad attitude are super slow and clearly would rather be elsewhere. I wasn’t the only one getting frustrated with the lack of care or support from the staff. Wish I could have made it zero stars. Hope management talk to the staff on that shift.
Worth visiting.large variety of almost every household stuff can be found here. In all an unique place with lots of options quantitively as well qualitatively offering a range to chose from.
Good place to find themed party stuff. Included a lot more home maker stuff recently.must visit if you like Lincraft like stuff
I never go there again worker name mina so rude and up herself don't know how to talk to customers and to myself I'm sure to her staff really she should be sacked that's how bad she is
The curtain section has the worst customer service. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or if they just don't like their jobs but I've seen them avoiding eye contact of customers who are waiting to be served, not serving customers, asking customers to look online (when the product is in store) and so much more. They either spend 20-30 minutes on one customer and ignotr everyone else. So odd and inefficient! The rest of the store seems fine. I really hope they make some changes.
Always a long wait at the Fabric register, no matter how many people are waiting or if both registers are open. Their product range is pleasant, but every time without fail I have an average to poor customer service experience.
Many times I have waited for 15 minutes in line, only to give up, put my items back and walk out of the store.
This place is one crazy place to shop, if you have the money or watch out for the deals.
