Went here as a wedding guest, lovely place, amazing views, and Iovely styling! Cons - parking opposite is $25 on a Sunday night what a slugg, also the wait staff were not all that responsive with drinks we had to keep asking for our drinks to be topped up, it was never offered. All in all recommend though

Thank you Sergeants for hosting our wedding ceremony and reception. It was a magical day, more than what we had ever dreamed of. Thank you for being so thorough Isabelle, particularly at 'crunch time' the month before - everything was easy and smooth and we appreciated your efficient and professional approach.

Our guests loved the venue, views and food! We all had so much fun celebrating.

Also a shout out to Kirsty and Nathan who ran the night - wow, the bridal party loved you guys just as much as we did - what AMAZING service and genuine care, thank you so much.

Highly recommend Sergeants for a wedding ceremony and reception - it really is a beautiful place with a magnificent view.

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding reception at this venue. We want to firstly commend the professionalism of all the staff at Sergeants Mess, as well as the promptness and hospitable attitude of our venue coordinator. We would definitely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a venue with amazing food and view to match.

For $200 a head you would expect better. Good venue but the parking options suck. They provide a shuttle but you have to wait 5 min drive away while freezing in the cold for it to arrive. It arrived 10 mins late on the day we needed it. The service staff girls who were on for a function on Sunday were so miserable and unfriendly, they didn't want to be there by the looks of it.

I had both ceremony and wedding reception at the venue, disappointed that staff did not help us pack up our belongings at all at the end and everyone were rush to setup for the next wedding which is only 2 hrs break in between and staff is NOT attentive when i told them that i lost my wedding cake stand! No one will help you to locate the stand, not even get back to you! And i have to pay to my cake supplier as i lost the stand.

The service is wonderful. The venue itself is overrated. No seating in the ceremony area, we all had to stand for an hour in heels. Whilst the views are pretty the venue is average and doesn't really offer anything special.

Great location with great views. A bit out in nowhere - so plan transportation if you are attending a function. Air con was broken so an excellent atmosphere turned stale an stuffy!

My partner and I had a viewing and Sophie was outstanding in showing us the venues and holding the dates for us. Her professionalism was second to none.

While we ended up choosing another venue, we felt Sophie was the best venue director. We would still highly recommend Seargent's mess to anyone!

We had a flexible, organised and patient event manager which resulted in a smooth lunchtime wedding. Highly recommend the lunchtime functions to make the most of the gorgeous views. Guests were highly complimentary of the venue, food and drink.

The avenue is really good. Food and service also very good. The view is even better. Fee parking with shuttle bus service is very nice.

Great location and stylish decor.
Not sure if it was just the wedding that I went to but I found the meal too be a bit minimal. The food was good quality and delicious but just small portions.

Brilliant food, relaxed but highly-professional staff, could not have asked for more - and just fantastic with HSC graduating students - treated them with great respect - the night was a huge success

This Place delivers the BEST wedding food I have ever had, in my 56 years of Wedding Attendances. Service was amazing. The view was incredible and the venue has a semi retro feel about it! I thought they managed a wedding of 200 guests seamlessly.

Absolutely gorgeous location, amazing views beautiful reception and good food. Only downside is, the road to get there is super dark and parking isnt great

A wonderful venue for special events such as weddings. Great views of the water are afforded from multiple angles. The venue contains a nice little garden area and on the interior over a couple floors, multiple rooms. Their kitchen and staff serve well prepared food and drink with attentive service.

I was a bridesmaid at a friends wedding at Sargeants Mess last weekend and absolutely loved it! The venue, food and service was all spectacular but I have to give a huge shoutout to Grace and Simon! Who both looked after us amazingly, the whole bridal party felt like royalty and couldn't have asked for better treatment. Thanks again!

We had our wedding reception there a week ago and we just want to express how grateful we were to have found this location. We have loved every bit of it!
Our guests really enjoyed the views and we are sure many of them had taken heaps of good photos. We couldn't ask for a better view than this!
We really appreciated the services we were provided, not only are you guys really professional but are also very understanding. They understood how stressful wedding planning could be. Our planning, from start to finish, was made as stress-free as possible. Communication was really good and everything was very organised. Essentially, during the day we didn't had to worry about a thing!
It was a shame that we couldn't have as much of the food as we should because we were always out of our tables to greet guests during the day, but every one of our guests complimented on the meals provided, so we were really glad! Our tip to the bride/groom is make sure to enjoy the food as well!
Lastly, we would like to give a huge thanks to every staff there for their hardwork on the day!
