This place was unbelievable.
We got married here on 15/12/2023.
As a venue alone it was visually breathtaking but as a whole operation, I haven't enjoyed such a professional experience ever before.
They are so across every facet of a wedding and I honestly could not find one fault in what they have to offer.

Brooke Ferro the event coordinator was super friendly and extremely organised and thorough with every aspect in the lead up. She put so much time into our event.

On the night another Brooke managed the occasion and was everywhere! She was so nice and accomodating.

All the staff were incredible. Every guest was looked after, the food and drinks kept coming. Any request was politely attended to.
It was a one stop shop from ceremony to reception and we were so impressed throughout the whole night. Lot's of very nice touches.

Very highly recommend and also very much appreciate all these team members.

By far the best wedding venue in Sydney. Breathtaking views, and absolute 5-star service, food and drinks. All throughout the journey from booking to the big day, the team there were fantastic - professional, efficient and always helpful. They are truly a well oiled machine - our wedding went off without a hitch. Big thanks to both Brookes - Brooke Ferro who was my go-to girl in the lead up, and then the other Brooke who was so supportive on the day. Also Tom the other event manager on the day, and all of the excellent wait staff. We had so many comments on how amazing the venue was, but also the food, drink and staff service. Cannot fault them.

Great venue, exceptional food (catered to gluten free vegan dietary restrictions brilliantly). Staff were amazing. In particular, Brooke P was a standout. Very accommodating, friendly and just an amazing person for service.

The very first time we saw Sergeants Mess, we immediately fell in love with the place! Everyone was accomodating especially B. Ferro our coordinator, she's the best! Our family and guests loved the place and the food were amazing! Can't think of anywhere else to do our wedding reception. Thank you guys so much!

All the staff members are really helpful starting from the planning and also the actual event day. Special thanks to Brooke our event manager and Abby the venue manager who give some much assistance to us through out the whole process. Really Appreciate!

We had our wedding reception at Sergeants Mess in August 2023 and I could not recommend this venue enough. Brooke (our co-ordinator) made the entire planning process stress free and was always available to answer our millions of questions! Could not have done it without her. On the night, we had Brooke and Tom leading the team - who were all incredible and were always there when we needed them. All of our guests absolutely raved about the food and service. The absolute best venue!

We had our ceremony and reception at Sergeants Mess and it was a blast! Special thanks to Lily for making the entire journey as stress-free as possible (including keeping up with all my emails!) and always being so positive. Huge thanks for Kiera, Tom and the rest of the staff on our wedding who went above and beyond to provide us with top-notch service. The food was amazing and overall our experience at Sergeants Mess exceeded our expectations:)

We recently had our wedding at Sergeants' Mess. They were fantastic in the lead up, helping wherever they could. A big thanks goes to Lily as the event coordinator for all of her assistance. The venue itself (including the spectacular view), preferred vendors (many of which we went with) and food were also great.

There were a few hiccups with beers being warm at the beginning of the evening and then "running out" of a selected full strength beer when having paid for an upgraded beverage package, which was labelled as an "unlimited pour". These issues were rectified by the team on the day after being notified, however shouldn't have happened.

Overall, a great venue and team to have hosted our wedding day.

Everything about this venue is incredible! The view of the harbour at the ceremony location is what sold us on this venue!

Communication with our event coordinator was timely, efficient and just helped ensuring all my questions and requests were accommodated. All the staff on the day were so friendly, professional and amazing in ensuring the day ran smoothly.

The food was just incredible, all our guests couldn’t have praised it more!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sergeants Mess and everything from booking to planning to the wedding itself was perfect. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather, and the view was incredible. The food was also amazing!

Lily was an absolute star to deal with as our event manager, and was so organised and quick to answer every question we had, and ensured that we had a wonderful day. A special shout out as well to Bella, our bridal attendant on our wedding day. Our whole bridal party loved Bella and she was so kind and helpful.

We had the pleasure of getting married at Sergeants' Mess and it was incredible! The whole process from start to finish was so easy and enjoyable. Our wedding coordinator Lily was nothing short of fantastic! From our first meeting, to the day of the wedding Lily was by our side, answering all of our questions, helping us coordinate everything and provided us with useful suggestions which we hadn't even thought of. Our coordinator on the actual day, Abbie, was amazing! The whole wedding ran so smoothly without any hiccups (Abbie even came to the rescue after a wardrobe malfunction!) The team at Sergeants' Mess are fantastic and it wouldn't have turned out to be our dream wedding without them!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sergeants Mess and absolutely loved it! The Sergeants Mess / Grand Pacific Group team (including Brooke) were incredibly responsive, accomodating and helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. It's a stunning venue and the perfect place to get hitched (who doesn't love a grassy, tiered amphitheatre, chandeliers and water views)!

Amazing location and great venue, great views of the Harbour.
Great service and really helpful to get a taxi swiftly when our pre-booked taxi failed us.

Is a view enough? Because I think it was not worth the price tag. The food was cut back. Many complained the food was under cooked. Guests were ignored when ordering drinks. The girl in the bar was over heard mumbling to co- worker that she is “going to hate doing this all night for these people”. Zero stars if I could!

Lily and the team at Sergeants Mess were fantastic from beginning to end! As soon as my (now) Husband and I stepped foot into the venue, we locked it in. It’s a stunning spot, and the service was exceptional. Lily was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, she was super organised and on top of everything which means so much when you’re stressed with all the planning! Everything on the day was perfect! Our venue manager even sewed my dress up, as it was dragging on the ground. The staff on the night were wonderful, really accommodating, and the food was incredible. I can highly recommend this venue. We had a beautiful wedding and are so grateful to the Sergeants Mess team for bringing it to life!

Splendid views of the harbour, great location and venue. Food was good and the presentation was nice.

In terms of facilities, they have a grooms and bride room on the lower ground floor. The balcony gives you a 180 degree view of the harbour with a grand entrance at the front. There’s a bar to offer canapés when guests arrive early. A shuttle bus is on offer to pick up and drop off guest parked further away at middle head.

There is an outdoor stepped grass area for ceremonies.

Overall a great venue, location and experience to have a wedding!

As soon as I had my first tour of this venue I knew it was the one. Sergeants Mess and the whole team did not disappoint. The venue and our wedding not only looked stunning, but the services and staff made our wedding day flow so smoothly. A big thanks to Brooke, our wedding coordinator who helped us every step of the way in the many months leading up to the wedding. She was timely, efficient, professional yet so warm and friendly. I highly recommend Sergeants Mess as a venue.

Pathetic! After spending tens of thousands of dollars on the venue. There is no waiting area or seating for the guests who arrive early. A few elderly guests had to sit on the footpath and stand by the roadside waiting for the hall's grand opening.
The manager was not even courteous.plain rude.
It is disgrace that even a cup of tea was not available until 6.30 pm!
Great before sunset.after that just a hall.waste of money.
