The most perfect venue for the most perfect day! We fell in love with the venue the moment we went to look at the place for its amazing view and the quirky kookaburras that were perched on the balconies! The team at Sergeants Mess were amazing with the COVID setbacks we faced – forcing us to reschedule our original date! We were so fortunate to have the most perfect weather on our special day and they worked amazingly with our wedding planner! Since our special day many of our guests have let us know how amazing the venue was – including the food (one guest even commenting that it’s the best barramundi they have ever tasted!)

Thank you again to the staff for being so accommodating throughout the planning process and to the end of the night - we could not have asked for a better day!

The beautiful venue, the superb service, and the band providing top music and entertainment.

Normally wedding food is very ordinary but not at this venue, the finger food, the main course and the liquid refreshments were first class.

Had our wedding here at the beginning of 2021. Such an accommodating venue in amongst all the COVID restrictions. I keep saying to my now wife, given the restrictions we had in place, the wedding was amazing. A great part of this was due to the venue!

The view in the evening is spectacular. Parking here as a wedding guest can be a bit steep tho. Service is great.

We had our weeding at Sergeants Mess recently and had the best time ever. Our coordinator Christine was fantastic. She was super responsive, organized and easy to deal with. She helped us with a lot of the logistics and gave us clear directions that made the whole process easier for us.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with sergeants mess. Back when we needed to postpone our engagement in may of last year to then planning a wedding just 31.1.21, there understanding, professionalism and flexibility was outstanding. We worked directly with Christine and want to commend her for being in the detail and executing the plan flawlessly.

Sergeants Mess went above and beyond for us! We were married on Sunday and the lead up to our wedding which was originally going to be in September was stress free. They were very professional when we had to postpone due to covid and gave us new dates as soon as they could which we were really happy with. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and all of our guests complimented on how beautiful it was. Hardly any need to have huge decorations either as the room itself is gorgeous. Our event coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. She was also very quick to reply to all of our emails too. Would definitely recommend this venue! We had the best time.

The best wedding venue in Sydney.

My wife Helga and I recently had our wedding here and would highly recommend this to anyone near Sydney looking to have a wedding with up to 220 guests (restrictions permitting of course). In our view, there is no better venue in or near Sydney and Sergeants’ Mess is the complete package.

Everything about the venue is first class from the event co-ordinators, the service on the actual day of the wedding and also the food (many of our guests commended that the food was the best that they had ever had at a wedding and was equivalent to good restaurant quality). There are also spectacular views from everywhere at the venue and it nearly feels as though you are having a destination wedding because the location is fairly secluded within Sydney Harbour National Park.

My wife and I were also greatly appreciative of how understanding and accommodating Sergeants’ Mess were with the COVID situation, particularly given that we had to postpone our wedding and also given various horror stories we had heard with other venues. Cannot fault the venue at all.

Wonderful location, Great place to organise an event with excellent food and drinks choices. Staff were very helpful and super professional from start to end. Especially during coivd they kept us informed of the changes to regulations. The event ended up being a great success with over 130 satisfied guests with many compliments.

Geat locarion and function facilities. A bit surprised that despite civid there was no distancing of seating and the staff were not wearing masks u like other function venues. Awesome location though

We had our wedding here and would highly recommend the venue. They were very helpful organising the wedding during COVID and staff were always friendly. The view at this location is amazing and the food was excellent.

This venue is perfect. They hosted our wedding and we couldn't thank them enough for being able to comply with our needs even through the current crisis. They have been accommodating, professional and just downright awesome. The food is by far the best my wife and I have had, the staff were great and all accompanied by an outstanding view. We have been here now three times and every single time they surprise us. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to do their engagement, wedding or even just a simple function. Beautiful location, stunning views of the harbour. Food and service was great. However it is a difficult place to find. Could do with better signage.

Amazing venue! Just went to a friend's wedding here and it was probably the best food I've ever had for a wedding. The staff were very accommodating and swift. The view off the balcony was also a delight!

Outstanding venue for any event. Particularly does well for incredible weddings also. Food and staff were incredible! The facilities were nice and clean with a great range of beverages at the bar. Highly recommended.
