Officeworks Northmead

By far the best customer service I have ever received! I called Officeworks because our paper wasn't delivered and I spoke to lady named Lyrah. I can't believe how calm patient and elaborate she was in explaining everything to me. She solved my problem, explained what went wrong and then explained what happens moving forward. Problem + Solution = Happy People! We really need more people like Lyrah around! =)

Absolutely useless, this store never answers their phone and they just let it keep ringing. My advice is to avoid using Office works where possible because if something goes wrong, you can not talk to anyone in store to fix the issue. Pathetic customer service!

I think more training is required for all staff. Alternatively, just get rid of the bad staff members that's dragging the store reputation down

Extremely poor customer service. Sales representatives barely exist and show you no respect or acknowledgment. Also, asian lady at the counter tried to sell me a broken kindle.very disappointed

I would like to say a big thank you to Sahar who took care of me last Saturday re ordering online for me the items that were not in stock. I have since returned to Mid North Coast and received a message my order was ready for collection. Thank you Sahar for being so patient, your customer service is exceptional & made my shopping experience all so easy. Regards Bernie

Good, prompt and friendly service, more spacious layout compared to some of the other officeworks in the area

Worst experience as I wasted over an hour, actually 85 minutes to get digital photos printed at self serve kiosk. Problem? No technician or manager in the whole store had a clue how to fix the problem of the machine not printing. I also had to spend an extra 15 minutes to get my refund of $5.45. The time taken to drive there and back added to this meant it was a slice out of my day. No apology either. To be honest, some staff were very nice and tried to help me BUT there was no solution. And no one seemed to be in charge of the self serve photo area. Come on guys, all the best technology in the world means nothing if there’s no expertise. Lift your game!

Aside from poor customer service as mentioned in earlier reviews, the store never picks up the phone. This makes them almost impossible to work with, especially when contact is required for printing jobs.

The young girl in the print and copy of this Officeworks Joanna is amazing! She's so helpful and fast. Joanna showed complete control and professionalism even though it was busy and quite stressful

This afternoon I attempted to develop some photos and purchase a pair of airpods from Officeworks Northmead. I left after receiving rude service from a male staff member.
The staff don't care about customer service whatsoever.

I waited 50 mins for 2 simple photo prints at the Print&Copy station. After 30 mins, I got my order handed to me. Good thing I checked it, because one of the pictures was of a stranger, so I had to wait another 20 mins. It wasnt even busy and the reason was 'the printer ran put of paper'. I doubt it takes that long to replace the paper. The person who 'served' me was named Jose. This is unnacceptable. I know now not to come here again and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Try to avoid this outlet.rude and has the worst customer service reps.

Avoid this store.better they close the store for good and hire new faces.

Teash service, i got a headphone last wee, it was not working, i returned and got another brand, that did not work either and i hat to return and i got this one at this one does not come with all accessories

I'm continually impressed by the awesome staff at Officeworks Northmead. They really take a customer-first approach and look after you before and after your purchase. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and kind!

What’s the point of listing things on their website if they don’t have it in stock? Something as in high demand as Ipads should always be kept in stock but instead of Officeworks respecting customers time they would rather keep the items at the warehouse and only order it in when somebody requests. If they want to have a business model like this then they shouldn’t list it on their website altogether because really Officeworks does not have the item-it’s Apple warehouse that has it and dispatches it.

Good location, helpful staff. Items not always in stock despite website levels. Convenient location and open till late. Subway and XS espresso right next door if needing to wait while things get printed.

The products advertised on the website are not guaranteed to be in stock. It would be easy to enter stock numbers for the products on the website so customers can see when something is out of stock and don't come to the store for nothing. This process could be automated with a small IT investment. But I guess the management just doesn't care that much. Office works is already big and they don't need to compete too hard.

I guess officeworks is fine for office supplies but not for electronics. They really need to rethink their electronic business. I went there to buy a Fitbit Charge and wanted to compare colours but all of them were sealed in the box and there was no display unit! This defets the purpose of going to a real store vs online. Apart from handful of laptops and tablets the choice is very limited.

Bad service at the print desk. The girl was rude to me on the phone when I asked how to downsize a photo.and when I went to the print desk to get someone to help me out. She knew it was me and laughed with her collegue. Very rude staff

Extremely Rude staff- A girl at printer section told they won't print because people forgot their documents. Still I could not figured out how?
