Officeworks Glebe reviews
73L used to frequent this place but got fed up with waiting for staff to attend to customers. There was always a wait and when the staff were being lazy l just decided to FORGET it. Bought myself a computer and printer and now l just purchase anything online January
Just finished my visit at office works glebe and it was an amazing experience a young gentleman named Jerome was quick to help me locate all my school supplies and was very polite and knowledgeable throughout the process.
Office works printing job. 35 minute drive. Miserable staff number 1. Oh we don’t print off SD cards. Yes you do I have been before with SD cards. She checked with even more miserable staff mender 2 who begrudgingly provided SD reader but it did not work. “That’s why we don’t print off SD cards. I offered to buy a SD card reader she shrugged. I paid for SD card reader and guess what. Yup it worked! No apology or even offer of a refund.
Now both of you if you don’t want to work then leave your job. If you do want to work then please be a little more polite. I was not in any way aggressive so don’t try that one. Look at your videos and ask yourself why did I not want to help this guy.
Officeworks might I suggest you train a bit of empathy into your staff.
Very poor indeed. Ian
Officeworks in Glebe represents that it has an accessible car park. The car park is outsourced. It requires an able-bodied person to reach the credit card reader on the way in and out. The car park operator does not respond on the intercom. This is an Officeworks to avoid!
Aside for the the self-service printing, I recommend staying away unless you want to deal with exceptionally rude staff.
You know those stereotypical slow/careless DMV workers you see in American movies. This Officeworks is just like that.
Zero interest in customer service. Its like they are anti-people.
Spent more time waiting for the car park gates to actually work than my entire commute and shopping time
After a confusing encounter with the self service printing (I needed double sided printing & I had printed single side) I asked for help & was told they would be happy to print the other side for me on their printer. I thought that was a lovely gesture, except being told after the fact that they just charged me double because they did it. What could have been a lovely customer service experience is now a very negative one. I can see why the reviews for this store is so low.
Rude staff. Did a heap of printing which was quite expensive and wouldn’t even give me a used box that was in a pile because “it all goes into the rubbish” didn’t even direct me to the manilla folders. Corporate sustainability and customer service at it’s worst. And printing was expensive too!
I had a lovely experience with staff member India yesterday. She was very friendly and went out of her way to help me find everything I needed and even gave me very helpful advice about how best to use my daughter’s back-to-school vouchers (you have to spend the full $50 otherwise you lose the rest of the money).
Nasty parking system! They claim to provide 1 hour free parking, but they harvest your credit card details beforehand, on entry. Avoid this shop, get you stationary elsewhere!
The rating of five points goes to the Cashier who packed my bags and was extremely pleasant. He was great date was 28/12/2022 at 16: 24.
Horrible experience. You have to use a credit card to access the car park. The scanner wasn’t reading my card and was stuck at the boom gate waiting 15 mins before the call was answered. To then be told I had to reverse out the car park, despite cars queuing up behind me! Complained to the manager who shrugged and said they can’t do anything about it. Not good enough.
My Christmas click and collect order fulfilled in less than 10 mins and picked up at 7 am during Christmas week. Met and introduced personally to Jimmy the new store manager and regularly being helped by long term staffer Michael. 10 out of 10 for my needs. Thanks Office Works Glebe!
Best Officeworks in Sydney. Employees always help me when i am shopping. They are solving problems and behaving very friendly.
The self service photo desk doesn’t work, the store is obviously understaffed with a line stretching the length of the store and there’s nobody to help- get more staff because those you have are good when they’re available -
I came in here to get a basic print on paper. The queue to wait was over 30mins, with one attendant on the desk. This happens repeatedly. For a major store, this is unacceptable. The people in the queue with me were really upset too! If you want quick, I do not recommend attending here.
I'm a regular at Glebe office works and I'm beyond disappointed with the rude service today. Girl at the print counter went out of her way to be rude and humiliate me for no apparent reason than her own inability to locate my click and collect order. I'm not one to write poor reviews but today's incident is hard to shake, as a Glebe local I'm truly disheartened by the poor standards of customer service and general courtesy - human to human!
So. So unbelievably slow. No one is doing their job. They just stand there. Like zombies. While everyone waits…. And waits…. And waits.
Very rude and unhelpful. Today I had just finished printing some documents but was having issues with the last one. I went to the print and copy desk for assistance. Another customer was just leaving after being served at the service counter by one girl who then went back to the printing machines on the other side with an asian girl- who didn’t bother coming over and just abruptly said across the way “what’s it about? ” Her attitude clear she wouldn’t be helping me before I had even opened my mouth. I obliged and told her about my printing issue 5m away, wearing a face mask. She then scowled and made me repeat myself because she couldn’t hear me. Which she would have, if she was standing opposite me at the service counter. Lazy. The manner she talked to me with was so unpleasant and condescending that I couldn’t wait to stop talking to her. Many times at different officeworks a print and copy employee has printed documents off if I’m having issues. I couldn’t tell if they had changed the rules or she just couldn’t be bothered. The moment I left, the person behind me had someone greet them at the service counter. Not sure what judgement was made that I didn’t get the same service. The place had barely anyone in it so it’s not like they had the stress of it being busy. Not a nice girl at all.
