73 I decided to be organised and use the Click and Collect service - sent through my printing order and paid for a standard plastic file ahead of time. There printing is done, but the online system doesn’t say if the file has arrived yet.
When I call to confirm if I can come in and pick up the file off the shelf, I’m yelled at on the phone, and nobody listens to my actual question. “Yes, I know my printing is there. Can I pick up this standard, plastic file that I’ve paid for? ” Eventually, they tell me to come in and pick up the file there since they have it in stock.
Go in. Pick up my printing job. Then told I have to pay for a file off the shelf, because the specific order I had paid for hadn’t arrived yet. And when it DID arrive, I could come in and refund it? But I literally picked one up off the shelf? Of the same model? I was trying to be empathetic with the person putting the sale through, but even they were really dismissive and didn’t offer any justification for it. All for $2.23 worth of plastic? It felt so silly, and they were asking for such a weird inconvenience of returning to refund it.
It was absurd logic and unnecessary doubling of their system. Not to mention, the rudest customer service from beginning to end. Officeworks has always had problems as a printing service, but that took the cake.
Poor customer service! On Sunday it might be crowded but I asked one staff and he seemed like not giving much attention while doing other things. Another staff was in the lane where I came in, so I decided to asked her to take the product on the high shelf I couldn’t reach because the other staffs were either unavailable or running around. I heard her clicking her tongue and acted like she didn’t want to help. Why would a staff behave in such attitude like she doesn’t get paid for working. When I was trying to not bother them and still they didn’t offer a pleasant experience for the customers. It might be tough to do many things but please fix this problem!
Horrible service every single time, Officeworks is a joke of a company, purely relying on their place in the market than actually being a decent company.
I have been to this store quite a few times over the last few years. Out of all the stores I have visited in Sydney - hands down the worst store. Lack of professionalism. Never enjoy walking in this one. Only do, as the closest one to me. Perhaps time to change management or staff culture?
Very large range of stationary, genuine sale price much cheaper than Wooler's and cooler giants who own Australia n grocery gen merchant market (both lure Innocent buyers with made up and down prices, they sell nothing cheap)
Very busy store. Well stocked. Staff at the printing and copying section are very accommodating and kind. Made my day!

Got served by this lady and it completely ruined my shopping experience with Office works. I was picking up a click and collect when I approached the service desk the lady said not anther one (I assumed she meant - click and collect) then told me harshly to stand aside! Absolutely shocking!

Went to the store for a pair of airpod on Monday 06/12/2021. Despite the female stuff asked us to wait aside while she was getting the stock then forgot about us. We asked the guy at the check out for a price match for a deal we found on Amazon for $179 with free shipping. As per their ads, they can do 5% off on top of the price match, so we should get the product at $170. However the male staff at the check out said regardless whatever deal on Amazon we found, he will add $7 shipping fee on that deal, which is more than their price in store. So we paid $185. I was too tired on that day, so has no energy to argue what was the rational behind his logic.
Guess why I cannot be bothered to lodge another feedback on Officework website? Because the last time I lodged a feedback on 21/08/2021, and followed up on 28/08/2021, and still hasn't heard anything back. I will lodge a case with Fair Trade this time, they cannot get away from their wrongdoings every time.
Quite bad customer service. Couldn't find staff for assistance and waited for over 15 minutes after I asked the people at the checkout even though I saw staff standing idly and leaving one member to deal with all the customers.

Don't waste your time and money buying from this store! Don't believe me? Be my guest to try them out.if you just want to buy something and not have to deal with the any of the staff then you're fine but the moment you have to contact them via phone or online etc.any customer service related query just forget it, you better off using your time doing something else because you will ONLY waste time!
How do you rate customer service when they never answer their phone? The staff are nice enough in person - when you can find one to help you - but the complete lack of the ability to answer their phone at any point in the day is a woeful experience.
Worst customer service the old lady with glasses at the check out isn't too happy to see customers who help her get paid.frowning instead of smiling please remove her from check out if you want more customers
Harish was a really helpful employee, he helped me pick out the perfect mic for me and explained to be in a kind way that there was no stock, I appreciated the honesty and he also helped me order it and I have never seen an employee so patient with me thanks guys!
Disappointed that the young person sitting at the desk near the door wasn't checking check ins or vaccination proof. Not safe at all.
Aside from that, very little stock and despite the staff gathering in groups to chat, it's hard to get them to assist you with anything. Even getting their attention is a challenge and often there is an attitude of you ask for help.
It'd be helpful if floor staff were attentive instead of treating it like a social gathering.
Great location and parking though.
