Officeworks Castle Hill reviews
72 I usually go to OfficeWorks to buy my school supplies (books, erasers etc.). I can say that I am impressed by the low prices of their textbooks (50c per book) Exercise books can range from 56 to 128 pages and prices can range from 50c to $2.50.
For the electronics, however, you can buy it from OfficeWorks (great quality) but there are also other retail shops dedicated to electronics only like JBHIFI.
No excuse for months of dust accumulation to see while you wait in line. This is a national retailer! Which managers are getting paid to oversee this? Imagine what else I would have seen or experienced if I hung around the store.
Our quick silk labeller needed a new ink roller and new labels. I asked for assistance to fit them both as I find it incredibly difficult. Emma was called to help and although she was not sure herself, she worked it out and was able to fit both ink roller and labels. Great attitude and customer service, thanks Emma.
Brilliant Customer Service! Allan at the photo service centre was amazing. We went for our kids passport photos and Allan was super patient and helpful. Took photos, printed and emailed soft copies in a breeze. Very rare to find such good service, recommend for more recognition for Allan.
This review is not on Officeworks business but their home brand- J. Burrows. Their page marker which is slightly cheaper than the 3M’s post-it but the quality is terrible. When seperated from the 50 bundle, curls up and has no stickiness. Wake up Officeworks!
Worst customer service experience ever! We bought a Epson printer from this store 6 months ago, and now it stopped working completely! We took it to the store and tried to find someone can fix or or return. Asked a customer service, and he asked me to wait in front and will get manager to come. I waited 10 minutes and saw him working outside to have rest. OK, then I talked to a lady in cashier to explain. She said we can't do anything but you have to contact Epson yourself, and we are very busy now customers are waiting. Then ask us to leave. I am the customer as well! I am not happy with the product bought it in office work, and not happy with the customer service. I won't go back to the shop anymore and world of mouth I would tell all my friends.
The two ladies who helped me with my printing were both very helpful and efficient. Also, despite the store being very busy at the time, they checked on everyone in the queue to see if they were okay, and apologised for the wait time.
Sunday 7 Nov 9.26am rang and selected option 2 to see if they had an item. Phone rang out twice, I noted that it was during opening hours!
Two young gentlemen assisted me today as I had visited the store on two occasions, they were both so very kind and helpful. Very different to the experience I had with similar stores in the complex. Really appreciated them taking time to explain things and assist me with my purchases.
Terrible customer experience. Haven’t seen this at any other Officeworks.
I know the staff member’s name but I don’t want to mention her name here.
Had a print job, printer was working fine and the store was not busy. I was told it would take 48 hours with no reason. Impatient staff member who would not even answer our queries properly.
Was helped by a lovely staff member named Jaden. He helped me locate what I needed and also went into detail about the product. Walked out with some lovely scales that will be so beneficial for my business. Thanks Office Works but specifically, thanks Jaden.
Great experience at this place! Supper friendly staff (i think his initial was SP) he was so efficient and provide the EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Ordered an iphone 12 256 GB on 24th of Oct 2021. The iphone never arrived and delivery date kept pushing back in the following two weeks. So finally I called their customer service asking for an investigation. A day later I was told it is out of stock!
The whole shopping experience was like a scam. You paid your money and had been waiting for something never delievered. Wrote an Email and no reponding at all. Till I called them and found out they don't have stock at all! Why did Officework took the oder at the first place and didn't tell they didn't have stock in the following weeks?
Terrible Experience chatting with Shelly printing out passport pictures. They were not accepting pictures taken in office works hornsby, when explained she tried to quote me the same amount at which new pictures can be taken. Will refrain from visiting these guys.
Terrible experience from the lady who served me 10: 40am far left register at this store. When I was paying for my item she asked if I wanted to donate to charity and I politely refused and smiled at her to gesture that I didn’t mean the refusal in a rude way. She then snarkily said, ‘something funny? Huh? Something funny? ’. Firstly, completely presumptuous to think I was laughing. I was wearing a mask that covers almost all of my face besides my eyes so I don’t know how she jumped to that conclusion. Secondly how was that comment necessary? I appreciate the work your staff does during COVID but she didn’t need to make that comment or repeat it twice. Felt like she was trying to pick a fight with me and taunting me for no reason. Just awful service and having worked many customer service roles myself, I am shocked a customer service representative even had the gall to ask a customer that and basically accuse a customer of laughing at the option to donate. I’m so taken aback by this situation and customer service staff like this lady who are presumptuous and reactionary to anything a customer does should incur disciplinary action. I’m contemplating whether to file an official complaint because what she said to me was frankly unacceptable, just do your job let me pay and leave without making me feel bad for SMILING.
Literally the worst experience I've ever had with printing - I asked for double sided A5 sheets, some weren't double sided, none of the pages were the same size, as if someone just guessed what A5 was and then cut the paper. Some of the pages came printed on card instead of paper. It was truly horrendous. It's not that hard to do a good job printing someone's work, do better.
Had very bad experience today with manager Valerie in Castle Hill.
I was going to buy some photo paper for my business and paying with my business Visa. My business is new and I have not made many purchases with that card and none more than $100. This time however it was $147 so the eftpos asked me for a PIN. Fair enough, but I don't remember it, never used this card with PIN before.
So I asked if I could swipe and sign the receipt like in the old days. Nope the eftpos still asks for the PIN.
Ok, still fair enough. But my bank allows transactions under $100. So I ask if it can be done in two transactions under $100.
At this point trainee goes to fetch the manager - Valerie.
She then goes into full refusal mode. "Nope can't help you"
Ok, why? There is a name on my card and same name on my driving license. "Nope, can't help you. Talk to your bank to get the PIN".
Ok, but I really need this paper today. Can we just remove some items to make it under $100? "Nope, can't help you"
At this point she starts implying I stole the card. Very insulting! My name is on the card and she can convince herself that if only she looks at my driving license. But she can't be bothered. Not helpful in anyway.
I am so stunned at this point I forgot I can use a different card and reimburse the money later.
Valerie the manager of course would not remind me of that and not offer any solutions at all. She is convinced I am a thief and she just wants me out of the store.
Well, fine. Officeworks is not the only store selling printers paper.
Amazing service. We ordered ten items last night. It was already delivered to our house at 9am this morning. Especially with lockdown, such a s service is much appreciated. Thank you!
Staffs are generally helpful. However, a young staff named Cooper though being inconvenienced, offered outstanding customer service above and beyond and willing to help me all the way looking for a few items I needed. Well done Cooper. He should be highly commended for his great effort in his team.
Probably the worse Officeworks I have ever been too the manager was rude and the staff there didn't even help or acknowledge me
