Great place for a walk. Very interesting island. Beautiful sunrises and amazing views of the coastline. Be prepared for a little bit of a walk but it's well worth it.

It was a fun family outing + exercise, about an hour walk to the tip and back without rushing. Informative posters throughout, be prepared for the smell? Ocean views must be gorgeous at dawn. Beautiful overlook of the marina. Highly recommend

Very pretty view at sunset. Relatively easy climb but very steep in parts and very cold when windy.

Absolutely stunning!
We went on a family walk and it was definitely worth it. Gorgeous views, perfect walking length for a laid back weekend adventure
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact there were a few dead pigeons that had been left at the entry which was an upsetting sight

Loved it! Great walk for young and fit! Steep and slippery for those unsteady on their feet. Close up views of nests and birds, great spot for whale watching.

It’s a steep walk, definitely not wheelchair accessible. Good views and you can see dolphins in the water and nesting bird on the way up.

The first section is fairly steep, then gets a bit easier for the rest of the walk. Great views once you get to the top.

Our random walk lead us here, our curiosity got us too the top but the beauty of this spot early in the morning was worth every step that lead us there! Stunning views and well kept paths will be doing it again

Amazing views across the Solitary Islands as well as back across Coffs Harbour. A great place for a walk and sightseeing.

One of the nicest vantage points in Coffs, with great views and information on the shearwaters that migrate here. Not a lot of birds around during the day, but the views are worth coming for. The walk can be steep (wind is also very strong) so bring proper shoes and water.

Lovely views! Educational! Toilets and free parking available.

Restaurant on the area, take away shop or buy your own seafood and cook them.

Drove up from Sydney the Friday afternoon and stayed close Muttonbird Island. Beautiful early morning walk. Amazing seeing the burrows and fauna. Was good to read up on the history of the island: when it was connected to mainland; major events like fire nearly wiping out all wildlife or the Queens visit doing the same ein the 1970s and why. Would like to take my kids back to show. The walk over to the ocean side is definitely worth the 20 min walk.

Home to the mutton bird, the island has paved tracks and signage to inform you of the location. Take a stroll to the other side of the island for ocean views and wades crashing onto the shore.

Great views of the rough seas and solitary islands. Although seeing the muttonbirds themselves is not necessarily certain, still a worthy walk for the scenery nonetheless.

Picturesque place. I recommend the walk from marina to the island's top (not long, but little bit steep). The lookout offers very nice view. The island is home of the Wedge-tailed shearwaters and is full of their burrows. So be careful where you step.

Worth of 15 mins walk. Excellent view of Jetty and sea. If you lucky might encounter Mutton Birds. Walk bit steep but not hard at all.
