Quite a traumatising experience using Murrays. It was raining heavily and I was rushing to catch a super early morning ride. I managed to reach the bus exactly at the departure time, but the bus driver just shut the bus door in front of me. I was literally just 2 seconds late. The driver just stared at me and continued on. Perhaps a 5-minute grace period could be introduced especially if the weather was really bad that day?

Very frequent service, clean buses with plenty of room, clean and relatively spacious toilet, air conditioning worked, about the same price as the train but buses go every hour (as opposed to twice a day). However, I went on a very windy day and had to stare fixedly out the window to avoid redecorating the interior with my lunch. You can book online, 3 different types of tickets depending on how flexible you want them to be in terms of changing them.

Not the best seating, quite squashed with someone else sitting next to me who pushed me up agaisnt the window. No is charging USB ports on my particular bus.

Friendly staff, only once had a not so personable driver - otherwise they're always super great. New buses are pleasant but no usb chargers, also prices seem to have risen a lot in the past few years! Basically the same as driving now. Still rate it highly for the service!

Took a snow express to Perisher, Drivers are friendly and bus has reached on time. Had no issue at ski equipment and Murrays has delivered what has been promised. Anyways suggest to provide more detail info to first time visitors such as where the classes will be held at Blue cow and timings, having someone up at the mountain for an hour or so would greatly assist. We lost more than an hour at snow hire, waiting in wrong queues, which cud hav been better used.

I always travel from Sydney to Canberra because getting on bus in CBD is painless, trip is relaxing and they drop you off in Civic.
Contrast that with a trip via plane.
The sight says they will charge for extra bag but they never do. As someone who travels with two bag that total less than weight allowance, I'd be pretty annoyed is they do charge me someday.

Nice and comfortable seats. You can also charge your phones and gadgets. The staff are really friendly.

The return was good but I was freezing in the bus on the way to Canberra because the air conditioning was faulty.

If you do not have an Australian mobile 10-digit number, you cannot complete the online booking service. Scheduled bus offering hot sale (eg AUD39 from Sydney to Canberra) can be full, seated and left 15 minutes before departure time. Only cold food and drink are allowed to be taken on board!

I took the bus for the 1st time from Sydney to Canberra, it was a very comfortable and affordable option to travel between the cities. The coach left on time from Sydney and got us to Canberra in reasonable time considering the traffic on the motorway which added a bit to the commute time. Totally recommended if you want to avoid driving and want to travel faster between cities.

Good experience, drivers were very kind and had great sense of humor. Only con were that the seats were not the most comfortable. After a 3 and a half hour ride to Sydney I did have a sore back when I got off.
