The best wine tasting experience in Mudgee. Our group was fun, and Ronnie & Brian made our experience even better. The complementary platter was unexpected and made the wine tasting better.
The place and landscape are outstanding. Thanks guys!

I was taken to Zin House for my birthday in June and returned this time to Lowe to do some wine tasting. Never has an afternoon passed so quickly with the bubbly Claire and charismatic Brian giving us a lesson in the art of wine tasting. At $20 each, you also get a small platter as well which was a lovely surprise. To cap it off, I recognised our waiter, Yo, from lunch last time who was just as friendly as before. Sundays are more relaxed as most Sydneysiders have started to head back. I could not think of a better way to wrap up a weekend in Mudgee than spending a few hours at this very Instagram-worthy spot with such lovely people who clearly loved their job. If you could only go to one vineyard in Mudgee, this is the one to go to!

PS Apologies if I spelt or got anyone’s names wrong!

Fantastic experience. Our wine expert Brian was the best, and made the experience memorable. Very personable, educational and fun. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and helping me experience wine in a different light.

Thank you Charlie for a cracker wine tasting event. The wines were delicious, the setting is fantastic and our host, Charlie, made it interesting and fun. Thank you so much, a great way to spend a couple of hours. We will definitely be back for the special Lowe experience with David Lowe.

They gave us free Jamon, bread and cheese! Had wine tasting for $20 per person. Great for families with kids as they have emus, sheep, lamb, chickens and horses around the winery to keep everyone entertained. Chapel. Great views

We had our wedding at Lowe’s and had the most wonderful day, better than we imagined. Emily and all the staff were friendly, professional, helpful, accomodating and we are so grateful for how they helped us reschedule our wedding and navigate covid. The food and wine are excellent and the photos are stunning! Our guests had a great time

Thank you for making our day a success we could not be happier!

Had a wonderful tasting experience experience here and fully understood all Lowe has to offer. Couple of great wines there. However it was the food that stole the show. Their olive oil is delicious, with a wonderful buttery character that goes perfectly with sourdough. Also their $65 platter was amazing which you can takeaway. It is highlighted by Althea baguette, babaganoush, high valley feta and brie, mixed pickles and dukkah. Had it for dinner twice while in Mudgee and beats most of the dinner options in town - it was even better than eating at Pipeclay Pumphouse.

We booked a premium wine tasting ($30pp) and although we didn’t buy any wine in the end we spent a lovely afternoon at Lowe.

The tasting is done at your own private table, ours in the garden as we had our dog with us. Unlike a normal tasting your wine is explained, poured and then you are left to enjoy the glass at your own pace before the next sample is presented. Our host Claire was friendly, knowledgeable and relatable.

We ordered some light snacks as well which only enhanced the experience. Our tasting ended up being a 3hr relaxed afternoon. The grounds are well maintained and lovely to wander around.

We popped in during the Mudgee Classic weekend. No reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. Everyone was lovely.
We ended up tasting wine and chatting with Saxon about the winery, organic farming, their restaurant, climate change and sailing. Had a fantastic time and bought nice wine to bring back to Sydney.

Such an enjoyable experience and beautiful space.

Be sure to take a walk around the area and discover the veggie patch near Zin restaurant and the on site animals including horses (the tallest and largest I've ever seen), chickens, donkeys and emus

Extraordinarily disappointing. We came here since our usual winery was closed and this one was highly reviewed. We had a 3pm booking for 2. On arrival we told them we were wanting a picnic hamper and the tasting (pre-booked and paid). We were poured a glass of rose and seated. 30 minutes pass and no one had served us. I got up and went to the counter they asked what wine I wanted to buy, I told them no. I hadn’t even been served yet! I was told to sit back down, still no one came. I went up again and asked if we could at least have the food while we wait. Again, I was told to sit down, by now it has been an hour with no service. Someone finally came over and started our tasting. We then had to flag her down every time we wanted the next wine. By the time we were half way though (80 minutes after being seated despite it being a 50 minute book ing). We again asked about the food and were told the kitchen was closed.we asked if we could at least have our last wines and were told if we didn’t like the last one we wouldn’t like that one. We got up and left completely unnoticed. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back. Shocking service. Didn’t get to taste all the wines we paid for and impossible to get a food platter!

Great wine, food and music. There is nowhere else like Lowe Wines, organic, biodynamic good times! You never go home hungry or thirsty.

Beautiful cellar door, great wines, fantastic knowledge and service. If you go here, do yourself a favor, book a premium tasting (the Zinfandel worth it alone), grab a charcutier pack and enjoy the views.
