Kirkton Park Hunter Valley

Second time with our two chihuahua puppies and an awesome experience that was. Staff service was exceptional, friendly and professional. Great value all and all.

We were out for drive on Hunter valley looking for a place to have some lunch. We decided to look for a place a bit further away from the busy cluster of restaurants.

We ordered several pizzas from the restaurant. They were a good size, well presented and tasted just as good.

The service was very friendly. We were greeted as we walked in and asked how our meal was while we were eating. Would visit again.

Second time here, we like it a lot. Nice food, quiet and peaceful. It has a pool but not that appealing in winter. I would have gone in the sauna but didn't come prepared

Lovely place to stay for few nights.
We stayed in a family room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds are impressive and well kept.
The breakfast has good selection of dishes, the bar is comfortable and inviting for light refreshments.
Bar area also has nice selection of board games for children.

The check in and check out were fast and easy, stuff is friendly and helpful.

Small bonus for families with kids: hotel grounds include chickens pen and pigs, that can be feed.

I love this place. From the moment your drive through those gates your breath is taken away by the stunning hotel and landscape. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was fabulous. My kids really enjoyed the marshmallows and campfire every evening. We will be back.

Love this place, a favourite at the Hunter Valley; if I can get a good rate through IHG club, I’ve stayed here a few times mostly work but need to come back for personal stay; hard to fault. Beautiful location, views, rooms and very attentive staff. Great room service with wood fired pizza!

Love this place. Tidy, friendly staff, great gym, indoor pool, spa, restaurant and close to Cessnock and vineyards in the Hunter.

Booked about 6 months ago and rang two weeks ago to say its a special occasion and we’ve been put in the tiniest room for $1100 overlooking the carpark with everyone walking past our door saying hi while we’re sitting on our bed. Also Pubic hairs in the bathroom

Realy nice accomodation in a beautiful setting. Great styling and polite staff. Food was a little expensive and underwhelming but overall happy with our stay.

The hotel architecture is nice, however it requires a lot of maintenance specially in bathroom area and spa suites. Poor customer service at the bar & restaurant. See photo of the spa suites attached. You wouldn’t want to dip in to this spa. Far away from 4 star hotel.

A fantastic place to stay.very relaxing and staff are all very professional. Have stayed here several times and it still remains a family favourite.

We went here for 3 days around Christmas. We truly had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, very bright, modern and clean. The food at the bar was great, and it was great to play the games available. Breakfast and Xmas lunch were both of outstanding quality. The outdoor area were great to play tennis, badminton and other activities. Finally the staff was perfect and made us feel at home! 100% recommend it to anyone going to Hunter Valley and will likely return.

Weirdest dining experience we have ever had, not in a good way. This place has mediocre food at best, pistachiao mousse was like froth ontop of ice cream. The steamed whiting was bland and tasteless, no spoon for the soupy broth my partner had to eat it with a fork. For a so-called fine-dining restaurant this was a laugh. These guys won’t be around for much longer, don’t fall for the facade when you walk through the door, great for Instagram, that’s about it.

Extremely friendly staff. Emily and her team went above and beyond to assist us. Very professional, prompt and accomodating.

Beautiful. Came here to find peace and found it. Relaxing. Expansive fields and gardens that are great for exploring. Pool and spa are beautiful. I loved the breakfast and the restaurant. The pigs are gorgeous

Rooms recently renovated but are heritage style which you're either a fan of or you're not. Decor and views were awesome.

It’s a beautifully appointed hotel with restaurant and bar. It’s clean and well designed. The breakfast was also delicious.

My husband and I got married here last month and it was absolutely incredible. The location and food are so beautiful and amazing - couldn't fault it. Emily is so great at what she does, so helpful, friendly and professional. All the staff leading up to and on the afternoon/night were amazing.

Wonderful classic Australian store buildings and recently renovated interiors. Located close to Vinyards, is was very convenient for a weekend Hunter getaway. The bar and food was great, breakfast was enjoyable. The grounds are beautifully maintained with rose gardens and fountains. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I had my wedding here last weekend and cannot fault the experience at all. The event coordinator Emily is absolutely fantastic. The venue is well kept and the upgrades/new renovations look great. The food is high class and the staff are very professional. If you are considering having an event here I highly recommend doing so. Absolute dream come true. Thank you KP.
