I had the most horrible experience at JB Hi-Fi this morning around 11: 46 am (the time on my receipt). I bought Bluetooth earphones and stuff and didn’t take the store plastic bag when the cashier asked. When I step out the door, the alarm beeped, so I look around for the security guy and ready to show receipt. He yelled hey at me very loudly, like I’m a thief or a child being punished at some Asian schools, when he could have said “hi, excuse me, can I please see your receipt”. I’m pretty sure lots of customers set off the false alarm from time to time, and that security guy was so rude and intimidating, guaranteed to scare all the customers off.

Typical jb hifi, its pretty much the only electronic/game store around besides office works in north Sydney so you don't have a lot of options. Recommend walking to this place as parking is always hard unless its the weekend in which case there is no one here.

Staffs are great and helpful but annoying thing is, the gentleman at the entrance asked for a proof of vaccination which took me about 2-3 minutes to download from mygov and I do not mind doing that either. However, after I produced the proof he did not even bother to properly see it whether it was me. If it is just for the shake of formality, why would you bother someone at the first place? (Its for a reason you are doing it, do it properly or dont)

I'm so thankful for Julience and Sarah for helping me out with IT cable issue. They have gone above and beyond to find the right item and make my life much easier. Amazing services

I like the staff here. Even though they turn over quite a bit, they have been good with returns policy beyond what I expect from JB hi-fi which has kept me loyal to this store.

I was about to buy the wrong keyboard. After some short questioning he helped me find a blue switch keyboard and an excellent HDMI switcher.

That was my first time going to the store. The help was much appreciated, as was the warm afect. He could have easily made me feel like an idiot but instead I felt welcomed.

It's really hard not to love JBHIFI, for me it's up there with Bunnings and Office works as part of my all time favourite shopping trifecta. At North Sydney they're open 7 days a week which is awesome and there's never a shortage of new and different things to play with and to buy. They also have no problem with me bringing Tonka my pup into the store which I love. It's the kinda shop that has something for everybody and if all else fails, just grab one of their Gift Cards instead!

Thank you Shaun for your great customer service and integrity. I only shop at JB as I know and trust when there is an issue it will be resolved. We'll done again Shaun and keep up the great customer service and ethic!

Alex was very knowledgable in electronics - Apple products and accessories and super helpful. The whole store has a usual fun JB Hifi vibe that makes me prefer this place over Officeworks in North Sydney that’s not only far in the corner but has staffs who are not as well equipped in both products or customer service.

I went in to buy an HDMI adaptor for my work from home setup and was told by the one of them that it was impossible. When I told him I had one at work he got flustered and told me that I was definitely wrong. One phone call to a mate who works in IT and I found the adaptor in the store on my own.

Good JB HI FI always has what I am looking for, shoutout to Alex who helped me find every thing I was looking for.

Having completed customer service courses myself, I would consider the customer service in this store severely lacking. The staff couldn't care less what you need help with. Massive fail.

Good little JBHIFi tucked into the center of North Sydney. I found an employee by the name of Alex to be exceptionally kind and helpful. This young man should get a raise.

I had faulty gaming headset and they replaced it with no issues. Very happy with JB HI FI North Sydney!

The security guard or lady at the front door isnt the best person to approach and ask or look at. Looks at me like im gonna steal something goodness gracious! Asks me if im buying anything. Lol
