JB Hi-Fi City - Strand Arcade Pitt St Mall

Prices were high. Not very different from other chains however. Customer service was just okay. The associate that I reached out to check about price and the person at the register both seemed apathetic towards me I thought.

Most possibly the WORST customer service experience I’ve had in a very long time and unfortunately- this was not the first time. Upon my last three visits to the store my simple questions and queries to the staff members at the front desk about movie availability (after me looking myself) were met with huffing and puffing and eyerolling. Staff were dismissive and lazy, not following my questions through even when the store was basically empty. I was patient but one female staff member even walked off and didn’t come back leaving me and my elderly nan to sort through the stacks of movies to find something she said should be in stock? Unacceptable.
I don’t usually write reviews, but after today’s beyond terrible experience - I won’t be shopping at this particular JBHIFI store anymore.

The place is nice and most staff are welcoming, except for the guy who does the phone plans for people near the iPhone XS phones. He is always looking and staring at you when you take a look at the phones he creeps me out, and if you ignore him he will then start asking you random questions like, “where you came from”, and “Do want to keep looking at these phones because there is other stores that provide them”. Which I found very rude. Other than that the store and staff is ok

Nothing special, unfriendly shop keeper and distinguished customer. But no worry just cross the road store are open huge hand to us spending.

Awesome place for any electronic item you want for a reasonable price. Lively place with helpful people all around

The usual electronic gadgets and computers but at completely RIP of prices, that's the trouble with Australian shopping, its monopoly of some groups and they gouge as they please

Jb Hi-Fi is the best place for all the electronic sections and for kids and for gamers.the microwave, pc games and xbox games, computer gadgets were awesome and you will get everything in electronic in this shop.best and recommendated to all as everyone knows this place in Australia. ️️️️

Tucked in the basement of the Strand arcade this JBHIFI focuses on media, CDs, DVDs, has electronics like phones, tablets, headsets and small electronics but does not have appliance nor TVs. But juat across the Pitt Street mall is Westfield's it has a larger store with appliances and TVs and the like.there is an express escalator to reach it.

A place to get all your tech stuff. Prices are lower compared to other bigger chain electronic stores

Nice and big shop with almost everything starting form TVs, laptops, cameras and going to home appliance.

Terrible service. I went in there to buy a $300 product the salesperson was more interested in socialising with his friend.and on my way out a juvenile wanted to check my bags suggesting that I had stolen something.

The Strand store is really nice. Got lots of products and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Poor service. The guy just kept walking past me even when I was actually wanting to buy a thousand dollar watch.

I bought a Targus bag for my 13" surface book from here. Its lightweight, good fit and has an extra pocket to store the surface pencil and bluetooth flat mouse! I'm super happy with their recommendations and organization of the place. I like tgwir text-bill system which makes keeping and organizing all the receipts quite easy. The staff were happy to help me and I ended up getting a 15% discount which I wasn't expecting at all so I'll admit I was super happy with the visit.

Over all a great place for bargain hunting. Always some great specials. One drawback was the attitude of one of the staff members, he could be described as being too familiar to the point where he was almost rude. I didn't know what to do so I just ignored his manner and proceeded with my purchase.

Happy with the service.
I went there to buy XBox and the person in charge of the gaming section was really helpful. Gave us enough information about the new games and the pre-owned collection. I was done selecting games and buying the console in just 25 mins.

OMG talk about good service! N I went in this morning and the ladies who helped me were quick and amazing. I could not recommend this JB high enough!
