JB Hi-Fi City - Strand Arcade Pitt St Mall

I recently purchased a Samsung Z Fold from JB Hi-Fi with the expectation of next day click and collect, as advertised on their website. However, upon reaching the store, I was informed that the item was out of stock and would take 3 to 4 days to arrive. Unfortunately, this unexpected delay clashed with my upcoming overseas trip, prompting me to change my mind about the purchase.

I contacted JB Hi-Fi's customer care and requested a refund, explaining my urgent need for the funds to buy a phone before my departure. They informed me that the refund process might take 3 to 5 business days due to the payment method being PayPal.

To my pleasant surprise, within just 20 hours, I received an email notification confirming that the money had been refunded. I couldn't be happier with JB Hi-Fi's exceptional customer care and their swift resolution of the issue. The prompt refund allowed me to purchase the phone I needed in time for my trip.

I was warmly welcomed by Ray today at the CBD Strand arcade store and just wanted to mention how wonderful and professional he was when serving my sister and I. We came in to browse but Ray was so helpful and accommodating that I ended up purchasing more than I needed. Next time I need anything from jbhifi, we will return to Ray and will also recommend him to our family and friends. Thank you for making our day today Ray:)

It's basically a supermarket for electronics.
But the staff are nice, friendly. Just double check your getting absolutely the model you want. Last purchase cost me $400 for a product I didn't want.

I bought an electric shaver, but it didn’t work well. When I bought it, I asked if it didn’t work, and I would refund it. When it didn’t work, the salesperson told me that it wouldn’t be refunded after I used it. I mean, I can’t buy a good one. Buying a Philips three-blade for 225 Australian dollars is obviously a strong buy and sell. Don’t buy their products from any merchant.

A great Jb store with enormous variety of records and movies. Helpful and cooperative staff. One of finest security officer.

Great location and has a lot of stock. The store is divided nicely into sections, making it easy to locate items.

Staff are not the most attentive understandably since it is generally a busy store, but it doesn't hurt to approach them as they are friendly and willing to help you.

They always have all the electronic bits and bobs that one needs. Great customer service to help me find my item quickly and at the right price point.

A great place to shop, whenever you're looking for something to purchase for your home, or in my case a mobile phone. But i will always shop at JB Hi-Fi for any electrical products, should i ever need them.

I went to look for some microphones and was fortunate to have come across David. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful about the different types that would be suitable for me as well as recommending a camera specifically for vlogging. We just purchased a $1700 laptop on 3 Apr 2021 and wanted to have the name on the receipt as I was travelling internationally and wanted to claim the GST back. The Asian lady at the counter with blonde streaks misspelt the surname so I asked if they could issue a new receipt. She was super annoyed and rude (even though she made the mistake of misspelling) and started to write a manual receipt. She forgot to include the GST amount per the guidelines and she was rude again and said "what do you want me to do? ! " and I simply asked if she could write the GST amount, it's not hard. She got upset and angry and another gentleman re-wrote the receipt.

Absolutely terrible attitude and I should have refunded the laptop and bought it across the road at the Pitt st Westfield JB Hifi. Would not recommend at all.

Bought 3 games ofmonster hunter rise for me and my flatmate to play in the first day released after finish work but silly i got the empty boxes instead, the second star i gave since i can just get back what i lost easily but they dont know what i have to gone through losing my precious time to go there again and have to wait the another daybto play the games.what the point i take it on the first day release and the sorry just didnt feel like a sincere sorry really its maybe funny for you guys but not for me as the customer

One of the better JB stores in the area, better than the Westfield one in my opinion. Staff were very helpful and asked if I had any questions. Has smaller crowds than the other stores also which is convenient and more space to move around.

David gave knowledgeable and friendly service when I bought headphones. He even gave me a price match for something I'd found online. Past experiences at this store have also been good.

All staff have been knowledgeable, helpful and friendly with great customer focus. It's always a pleasure to just browse without having someone jumping all over you but they're there should you need to ask.

Had a fault with Xbox series X, both Duncan and Matt were excellent in helping me with it even though these are in short supply, got me back up and running with minimal hassle, even recommended a few games in there while I was waiting. Great service!

One of the better JBhifi stores. Decent service, good range/layout and staff behind the counter are very strict on Covid regulations.

Parker and the dream team were so helpful in making sure I found what I needed! My hectic requests were never a problem and if someone didn't know how to solve my problem someone else in store did. Great to have so many experts under one roof
