I have an issue with a purchase I made in November (!) I need paper work to be fixed up and after multiple calls and emails over the last several months, I have never received a call back from the store manager and it is still on going.

Traditionally my consumer loyalty for retail stores has been defined by three factors. Product/Service selection, quality and customer service experience. It's also fair to say that my review of this specific store is not reflective of the store or Harvey Norman as a whole, just the product and staff that I encountered.
Ultimately, after purchasing a faulty appliance making countless calls and jumping through the mandatory hoopes for a resolution it was evident internal processes and procedures don't translate well through to staff and store management execution. Not to mention unfounded brand bashing and false promises.
I walked away from the store feeling like a $ dollar figure (Excluding extended warranty) not a person.

One of the better Harvey Normans to visit due to the customer service, the floor staff are exceptional and well versed in their product knowledge and always happy to help even when.
They decided to not to be rude and not tell me they were closing when I rocked up 5 minutes after the door was due to close and then let me roam around the store browsing without even so much of a complaint.
I felt so bad when they finally came over and told me what the time was, I'm sorry guys xD

First of all. I have to say, Khoo and the security guard they were super helpful and empathetic. They were actually keen to help. The stars are for given to these 2 guys. I purchased a watch on Thursday last week. It won’t connect to headphones, I tried everything including turning device BT on and off, reset the watch, change a different set of headphones, nothing helped. I brought it back to store today and Khoo booked a ticket for technian to have a look. He provided GREAT service. However, another staff was so inpatient with me kept saying he was too busy with other customers and asked me to come back on weekdays and shouting to other team members. I tried to show him what was the problem, he couldn’t even be bothered to have a look. If the owner of the store is reading my review, please just keep the inpatient and arrogant staff off the floor, I don’t meant to bother or disturb their day, if the product was working properly, I didn’t have to come in.

Lots of products, staff can help. Tried to upsell extra protection, so make yr own choice. All products have a warranty anyhow.

Bought an air-conditioner, and was pleasantly surprised by the Salesman named Elliot. He was extremely knowledgeable about the airconditioners, and also indulged me in a long discussion about different coffee machines. Elliot was absolutely fantastic and made the whole experience more enjoyable and I've walked out knowing that I have the best product for my needs.

I have always liked shopping at Harvey Norrman in Broadway. The reason for giving it only 4 stars is that there's always room for improvement. The staff are mostly helpful and all are courteous. The range of goods is quite large and competively priced. There's always room for a small discount if you ask nicely. I would recommend shopping there.

Not great to deal with. Seem like they're always too busy to give a hand, do yourselves a service and just go up the extra floor to JB HiFi and get some better deals and services.

I'm happy with the service here most of the time, especially the last year. They don't always have as wide a range as others, but will always try to order and price match. Recently, good service by the manager Anthony organising a replacement delivery and great service by Tom helping me solve a vac problem and identify the correct part (which they had in stock).

Went there at 6: 45 to buy headphones and roy was helping me to buy but kept rushing me saying they closed already and literally I’ve been asked to leave as they were closing soon

It's your regular Harvey Norman with the usual extensive range of home and electrical products.

Conveniently located and a vast selection of products on offer, all made easy by the helpful staff. Afterwards, it's nice and close to the cafes at Newtown for a cup of coffee or lunch at this lifestyle strip.

So helpful! I was assisted by Dylan. I came in looking for a DVI to VGA adaptor. After talking about my problem with me Dylan suggested a DVI to HDMI adapter and it works beautifully! The first time in a long time I felt I was taken care of at a store instead of feeling like a 'time waster' by retail staff. I ended up buying a few other things (headphone stand/power board) that I was going to buy somewhere else but I liked the service so much I just brought it there. Thanks Dylan.

On hold for 10 minutes just to check if something was in store and refused to hold the product for me so I could come pick it up in an hour.

No wonder retail is failing.

If you call them because you are having an issue with their product, they will flat out HANG the phone! STAY AWAY!

I bought brand new washing machine but they shipped me a used one! It had water and detergent stains, clearly was a used one. Plus they refused return and refund until I contacted fairtrading!

Customer service is so depressing. It feels like they dont care about customer satisfaction, once they sell the goods. There are better places to buy stuffs than in this store.

BEWARE - They sell USED PRODUCTS! They repackage returned items or repair broken ones and sell it to customers. Contact Fair Trading and HV hq immediately if you are a victim.

Bought an item that didn't work for me - returned without a problem for a store credit which was used to buy something that did work for me. Lovely people to deal with - special thanks to Michele.:)

Terrible service. Basically told me to go to kmart since they didn't have fridge in stock or to another Harvey Norman store which also didn't have the fridge.
