I had a very pleasant experience yesterday at the photo section.
I was served by a very lovely young and patient JAE.
Having no experience in down loading photos from my ipad JAE help me all the way through process and showed me how to do it.
Just fantastic service
Could you please forward this onto JAE for me.

Purchased a bed frame which had a manufacturing issue and ended up causing damage to my mattress. Harvey Norman sent a repairman which helped for a few nights - until the issue set in again and the bed wobbled and creak with the hint of a movement.

Upon requesting a refund, I was met with “we ordered a part let’s see if this fixes it” with an estimated 1 month wait & no guarantee it would fix the problem.

2 weeks later and interrupted sleep & back issues I asked again for a refund. They only offered a credit.

I then again requested a refund and they said they could only refund to the same card (which I didn’t have anymore) and so now I have to wait for a cheque.

One lady stated i would receive the cheque either that day after the bed frame was collected & so we booked it in. After they came and collected - I was told it may be two days before I’m able to get the cheque. They also refuse to refund to a card that wasn’t used for the purchase.

For me it felt like a very careless exchange & at the end of the day I’m now out for a new mattress and back pain management due to Harvey Normans neglect in offering a refund before they exhausted all other options all though they knew of my circumstances and hesitance in exhausting other options with no guarantee.

Luke in the TV department is sensational. He was very helpful and checked to ensure what I was buyng was right.he even helped to get someone else from another department to assist with something he was unable to help with. Easily the best Harvey Norman i have shopped at

Have become somewhat a regular customer over past 7 mths.
It started as a simple convenience, but in a very short time (by far & most importantly) found myself returning repeatedly due to good, friendly & reliable staff assistance/customer service:
Staff (even if extremely busy) are ALWAYS well mannered, pleasent to chat with & provide good quality friendly service, as well as doing what they can to answer my sometimes many countless enquires.lol.
All the supergreat qualities that today just aren't as common in many retail outlets as they once used to be.
Also with a varying range of big & small items always in stock and readily available for purchase of items Ive required from appliances to home decor/furnishings to electronic/computer accesories and even my fav coffee pods.

We have been shopping at the Harvey Normans Bennett's Green for many years ever since moving to Lake Macquarie buying everything needed for our home our lives. The staff over the years have always been so helpful and caring. A lot of times we have had to have things delivered to our home. I would like to give a big thank you to Jamie and his team. They are so caring and helpful when delivering our products to our home. Thank you so much for being so respectful Jamie as you guy do really heavy work with such care and respect.

Terrible. Spread out and not very good signage on where the building is your after. Sales men didn't seem to know if they had stock of what we were after. Tried to tell us an item they didn't have in stock was not very good and hard to find.pfft walk across the drive way to bing lee and found the item straight away.

The staff member we dealt with was not only most knowledgable but also most pleasant. It was good to know that our purchase was made in Australia. Quality was excellent.

Ordered a lounge suite on 15th January, was told by sales assistant it would be ready in six weeks. (Name of assistant available on request.) Still waiting after 3 months. Have cancelled order today 26th April. Very poor service. Would not recommend.

I purchased an Acer A315 laptop from HN Bennetts Green in April 2019. After 23 months it failed. I returned it to the vendor for assessment and received a call 3 days later to be told that it was uneconomical to repair. When I collected the device I was told they did not know what the fault was. I asked if Acer would be informed of the failure. The answer was no because it wasn't a catastrophic failure. I was then amazed to be told that I had bought a "low end"product and that I should have bought a Hewlett Packard. I have since returned the product to Acer and had it repaired for the cost of parts only. One would expect that when they purchase any product from HN it would last more than 2 years regardless of the warranty period. HN did not support me.

We bought new bathroom fixtures (taps, shower, toilet, towel rails etc) through the bathroom department of this Harvey Norman recently. It took us a long time to decide what we wanted to order and multiple visits there to look and think (I'm sure much to the dismay of the store person who always helped us out!) but we appreciated the patience and help of the store person who assisted us (sorry I can't remember his name!). We are very happy with the end result now they have all been installed. There was an issue where one part of our bath tap didn't come with it but they ordered the missing part for us and it was dealt with quickly. There were some delays in receiving the products ordered but luckily we were in no rush.

I actually thought the guy was arrogant. But I hate upselling. The salesman couldn't understand why I didn't want to upgrade my phone for $65 a month as opposed to the $29 I'm paying. I said 'because I'm here to buy a charger not a phone' then he gave me the wrong charger for my phone (I thought they knew more about the products) then when I went back to look for one that fits my phone he ignored me. Bad salesman technique in my opinion.

Ive never had a positive experience at Harvey Norman. I've given them a go several times, always ending with the same result. The first time i visited the store I was prepared to spend a significant amount of money as i needed to furnish an entire house, only to find the salesmen were not interested in selling any item outside of their little section. It didn't matter i was prepared to spend $30,000 total in store, the salesmen only cared what i was spending in their specific section. They weren't interested in any kind of package deal or prepared to knock off a single dollar despite the significant amount of money i was going to spend. I've only recently learnt each section is franchised out. No wonder the salesmen wouldn't help outside of their section. Pretty ridiculous set up (unless you're Gerry Harvey) if you ask me.

We bought a laptop couple of years ago. It stopped working. We called the store. They informed us that it is still covered with product care and guided us to raise a claim. We went to store Mr Wolfgang quickly did the paperwork and said it may take couple of weeks.
I spoke to the product care. The matter could not be resolved. I was asked to go to the store. I went to store. Mr Wolfgang and Daniel were very helpful. They spoke with the product care. I was provided with a replacement laptop that is quite similar to the one I bought. Great service Big thanks to the staff there

They always seem to have the best prices but you always feel like the prey of an animal. They see you and they stalk you down upon entering the store. Any person knows the friendliness is not genuine and its awkward when you just want to look and a man in a tye follows you around. That being said thats there job. However, there was a particular young bloke who was trying to push a wifi device onto my partner and I. He assumed we had no idea what we were talking about and assured we should be spending the money on a $600 device. Then belittled my partner upon asking how much she paid per month on her phone plan which is none of his bloody business. Now I have purchased a device for $100 and it works fine as we stated for our needs. This just instills you do not care for your customers when your just trying to rip us off. Listen to your customers and you won't get any more of these reviews.

Assistant was rude thought he was funny. Staff are unreliable. Dont know if they do or dont know what they are talking about. Must be a policy so as not to lose potential customer. They will maybe get someone else who can help but think they want to be the one to take the sale so will hang on as long as possible and hope you dont ask too many questions they dont know the answer to

Good service, but I still got the wrong wifi ext and had to return same to swap. A few more questions from the staff may have prevented that.
