Ordered a camera at the store and keep getting the pick-up date postponed. Got an email in the afternoon saying the camera is ‘most likely’ coming on that day and then being told the email is not accurate when I got the store and that it needs another couple of days. Still haven’t got the camera now.

Update: today I got the call and email to pick up my camera. It is nearly a week delay from the pick-up date I got when I ordered it, but Pauline explained thoroughly on the phone that it is due to the delay of shipment and large demand. Would be much happier if I could get those things explained when I ordered the camera or when the date kept getting postponed instead of after everything settled down. Most staffs are helpful but the whole process was so stressful.

Amazing service. Adam and the team really know what they are talking about. Have been a client for a few years now. Definately recommend. Honest and down to earth, plus will give you plenty of tips on what to get and what not to etc.

Buyer beware - I usually buy from jbhifi I thought I’d give this Sydney company a go and boy do I regret this decision. Georges cameras online shop showed they had the white DJI OM5 in stock but evidently they did not, not only did the product I ordered arrive A MONTH LATE with no update I had to call them almost every week to see what is happening as it still hadn’t arrived like they promised when they said it would. Also it arrived damaged I called twice with someone always saying they will get back me but they never did and finally after a few weeks someone 'emailed' and they asked for a photo which I sent and said they would repair it. At this point I want nothing to do with this company so ask for a refund. And now they still haven’t got back to me. They are an APPALLING COMPANY STEALING PEOPLES MONEY and SENDING DAMAGED PRODUCTS LITERALLY A MONTH LATE. Absolute joke of a company! I have reported them to ACC and fair trade as they have not gotten back to me now im even questioning if the product is even authentic with their code of conduct. DO NO RECOMMEND.

I was so pleased with the efficiency of my latest order from Georges Cameras. I grabbed a Canon camera on sale — it was shipped on same day with current updates emailed regularly. Such a good experience compared to others lately!

Liked the place but I wish they give storewide 20% discount four to six times a year like digidirect (two or three times via their website plus three to four times via their eBay shop)

In a last minute rush to find a dual camera strap for an upcoming press conference I had to shoot, George’s were one of the only places that had the BlackRapid Hybrid in stock, and were also one of the cheaper prices I found online.
I called them on Tuesday to confirm availability, placed the order online Wednesday morning and again called to confirm it’s all good to go.
Not going to lie, I was stressing a little about the delivery time frame as I live quite regional.
And well, here I am 930am on Thursday morning setting up my new strap.
Can’t thank George’s enough. In particular Fletcher for all his help and great customer service.

I sent back a faulty item Georges Cameras. The return process was straight forward the staff where very responsive to questions and very helpful. I got a placement very promptly it and it works fine. Well recommend store.

Such great service right from the start. Mitch was terrific explaining everything making sure we got exactly what we needed. We had done our research on prices and no one could beat Georges. Amazingly quick and inexpensive delivery. Placed the order on Friday and the stock arrived to us in Melbourne on the following Monday.

I live in Tasmania and so my experience with Georges was mainly via email. Overall this was a very positive experience. I found Irene, who was my contact, to be extremely helpful and very quick to respond to my requests and questions. She provided me with competitive pricing, and also made me aware of the current inventory for the items I was ordering, and the ETAs for out-of-stock items. As a follow-up to this, I even received a phone call from the store manager to let me know about the expected delivery time for the back-ordered items. I was notified when my order shipped and it arrived next day, in some good, solid packaging. Although there was 1 item missing, when I notified Irene she sent it out and I received it the following day. This was excellent service form both Georges and the shipping company, since it was despatched from Sydney to my far-flung home in rural Tasmania. Based on my positive experiences with Georges, I would highly recommend them as the place to source your photographic gear.

I should have read the reviews first. DONT bother ordering online. Placed an order 7th of november with no indication that the item wasnt in stock. After 2 weeks and no response from emails i had to call only to be told it wasnt in stock and should arrive in a few weeks. I wouldnt have ordered it if i knew they had no stock in the first place. Anyway another 2 weeks pass with no update, so i call again and this time im told it will arrive soon and they will ship asap.
I give up and accept i wont be getting it in time for xmas holidays. Fast forward to 3rd Feb, again after no update i decide to call and ask for a refund. The employee on the phone was polite enough and has processed the refund for me, heres hoping the funds show up.
Terrible online shopping experience, wont ever bother with these guys again.

Bought a $500 battery from George’s and it came without the power cable to charge it or the cable to connect it to my camera.nice.

Great service by Chris helping me pick out a great Harman reuseable camera for a variety of uses. Owned the camera for close to 3weeks and throughly enjoy taking pictures with it.

Couldn't wait any longer for delivery as there were no sign of it coming after a week. So I decided to go in store. Staff were very friendly and apologised for technical difficulties, was able to swap for other instock brands and worked around for a solution. Definitely was worried at first from mixed reviews but now will definitely be coming back!
