Terrible experience with an online order - over three weeks in transit and total refusal by Frankies to take any responsibility or to help. It finally arrived but there's not even been a simple "sorry". Will never deal with them again.

Avoid like you would coronavirus.
Places an order and waited over a month with no response. Called them weeks after the delivery was due and was told “somehow” they lost the order and didn’t process it so I would be upgraded and it would be posted that day. 2 weeks later I call AGAIN after receiving no notification, no email, no phone call to find out where the hell my order is. Apparently they don’t have part of the order in stock. After nearly 2 months of having my order and ME chasing YOU, they don’t have it in stock? ! This place is utterly the worst place I have ever purchased from. Avoid it unless you want to wait 2 months to find out they’re useless and you’re at square one all over again.

FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME

My first experience was a car alarm that was dead on arrival, waited months for a replacement.

Foolishly I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased another 2 products on 2 different orders. One was an item purchased in error, which I returned to then unopened within 2 days. Heard nothing for 10 days then finally got a refund slapped with a heavy 20% restocking fee which worked out to be roughly $100. They did not contact me once. The Second product was stuck at "Awaiting Shipment" for 3 weeks with no contact. When I contacted them, they said they have no stock. When I inquired about a refund or cancelling the order, they said I have to wait a further 10 days for the "Finance Dept" to approve my request. What the!?

Hard-pass on using these guys again. I should have checked the reviews first.

These guys are massive scammers running under multiple company names. Brand beast being one. They re-sell used, broken and partially repaired products off as new

The worst service I’ve received in a very long time. Purchased a new car head unit kit that was suppose to be clip in and out. It caused issues from day one.

I drove from Sydney to Albion Park twice to get this issue rectified, they charged me additional cost to do an appalling wiring job that failed to fix it. But they were successful in cause the radio to turn on when the hazard light switch was pushed.

After looking into the issue myself I was advised to contact a fantastic technician at Ryda in Sydney. Using FaceTime he pointed out the wiring harness supplied was the issue. He explained how to rectify the problems and with his help I was able to get everything working as it should be. Even though I didn’t purchase from them they helped me get the unit working properly.

Frankies refused to refund the fee they charged that didn’t fix the issue, but did caused more.

Extremely unprofessional company.

The crew are absolute legends. Ordered a full system and unfortunately the system listed under my car was different to web specifications. We exchanged items and needed a replacement with out any dramas. This type of service is hard to come by from major companies and is why i will always choose a small business over big chains. Well done guys! Recommend

Awesome service from Bryce at Frankies. Incredibly helpful in getting me the right parts to switch out a dead car stereo for something new. Knew exactly which parts were needed, and they arrived within 48 hours of ordering.
Polite, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable.

Ordered an anderson cable and they told me (via email) that i need to call them for details about the order, so i call them and get hung up on twice! I would like either my product or my money back - this is very unprofessional!

A paid for product should be sent to the address that was given.

Excellent Customer Service and Value pricing. I bought a GME TX6160 set and upon unpacking found there were 2 items missing. A call back to the shop and Dana provided super support, same day fix for my problem with replacement missing parts ordered and to be shipped to me. Could not ask for better service, no hassles and prompt. Thanks

Took a month to receive a premium alarm system. Constant emails and excuse after excuse blaming the shipping companies when it turns out they had everything in stock, they were just too lazy to ship it.

In the end i just received a package, containing the WRONG alarm system! Not happy. Will NEVER EVER shop here again or refer anyone. Their prices are not worth the hassle.

Should have read the reviews, placed one order wrongly and requested cancelation about half an hour later, 8 days and im still waiting for them to cancel and refund, the correct order i placed on the same day has still not been dispatched and customer service cant even tell me when it will be!

Avoid disappointment and frustration and use someone else!

If I could leave Zero stars I would.
I ordered a $700 Dash Cam. It took 4 days of not any type of communication of my order for me to call and find out what was happening.
After several calls I was told the item was out of stock and I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Again, after several days again of waiting for a refund, I still didn’t receive it. Contact again to ask what was happening with my refund and was told it was with accounts. After two weeks of this going on, the Dash Cam shows up on my doorstep. Disgusted with this companies lack of service, I contacted again saying I cancelled the order, I don’t want it and organised to send it back. After having received the item back for 5 days, still no refund.
Do not use this company, they are pathetic

Dont waste you time with buying online. I dont like leaving bad reviews but this company has made it so difficult I want to warn others. I ordered a head unit and reverse camera on the 2nd of December for a Christmas present. Its now the 19th of February and my issues are not resolved! First of all they did great by calling me to tell me my headunit was delayed and they would post my items the following week. Then i never heard from them. I then called a few days later and was told that my headunit wasnt even in stock and that they were waiting for it from overseas which would be well into the new year! I had to ask them to post my reverse camera as im not sure why they didnt post that if it was in stock? After the new year i asked for a refund as this was a christmas present so now i would like to order a headunit elsewhere and its taken them two months to process my refund and have only done so after i spammed their customer service emails. Tried to do the right thing and order local but it was a NIGHTMARE! Do yourself a favor and avoid even if it costs an extra $10 elsewhere!

Prompt and efficient, thanks. Unfortunately, difficult to contact when I had special postage request. Once contact established, was quicly resolved (I think Christina was away/sick for a day or two).

Will definitely use Frankies again.

I purchased a radio from Frankie’s nearly a year ago & was having some minor issues with it.

After contacting the manufacturer & been given no help I reached out to Rod at Frankie’s. Rod gave me more help than the manufacturer did & I am very grateful for the help he was able to provide.

The store sold me a radio and installed it at a reasonable price & after sales support was great.
