Flower Power Garden Centre Terrey Hills reviews
69 On arrival we asked for some water which didn't arrive until we asked again on finishing our food.
We were 4,2 of us are vegan, no veganoptions on the menu apart from chips and a boring salad with coriander, yuck.
After looking through the nursery we returned for coffee, 2 soy iced latte, no cream or ice cream, and a milkshake were ordered, both lattes came with cream, ice cream and almond milk, the "milkshake"was a screwtop jar with milk and chocolate syrup poured down the side, Luke warm and bore no resemblance to a drink made in a milkshake maker, and half the volume.
Also one latte had no ice at all.
My straw split in half as I tried to stir up some chocolate syrup in the milk.
The whole experience was awful, and a waste of money.
I know the cafe is independently owned, but they are doing your business no good at all, I and my 3 daughters won't be returning how hard can it be to serve a few sandwiches and wraps, and real milkshakes, also a little staff training wouldn't go amiss.
A beautiful nursery with knowledgable and helpful staff. Lots of gorgeous and tempting gifts. A lovely place for a coffee and a wander.
Loads of choices of plants. Great specials. Very friendly and helpful staff members. Plenty of parking too.
This is a great nursery. Has good prices and a great range, larger than most nurseries closer to the city I have been. Will be back!
Great, sale at present. Wish the pots were not so expensive. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Looks like the cafe has been another casualty of the corona virus? See you again soon.xx
We've been customers here for years but lately the place has become so rude. Today we asked for help with plants and the woman was bothered that we dared to ask for help and was all huffing and puffing. You'd think people would be happy they have returning customers.
1 very rude staff I was asking her if they had any fly trap plants here and she said no In a very rude manner I won’t be coming here ever again. It really ruined my experience here
This is such a great nursery to shop at with a huge range of plants and trees, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Also a great range of potting mix and fertilisers, etc. The service that you get at the checkouts is always excellent. Parking is free. I love Flower Power and I love shopping there. I always highly recommend this nursery to my family and friends.
We have been to the cafe a few times now, however this morning was disappointing to say the least. 3 out of the 5 things we ordered were incorrect & 1 meal was forgotten altogether. Can’t say we will be going back in a hurry.
The food in the cafe shop is just not up to standard. Ask for vege board but given Mediterranean board with very thickly cut cucumbers. Not go there for food or drink again. But the plant part of the Flower Power shop in Terrey Hill is a pleasant place to visit.
A nice shopping experience spoilt by the attitude and rudeness of 2 check out staff who were on duty at 8.30am 21 Dec 2019. Both were rude and impatient with two customers in front of me. When I suggested that they appeared rude I was told not to tell them how to do their job. Maybe Flower Power management should tell them how do their job particularly with respect to customer relations.
Flower Power Terry Hills is a really great place to get a whole variety of different things. But mostly all garden related. The staff are friendly and helpful. The garden centre is big but is surprisingly easy to navigate. Parking is free and gets an okay from me. It gets an "okay" because it isn't possible to get into the garden centre any other way. So walking is to the main entrance is understandable but also a bit of a pain. A really amazing cafè/restaurant is inside. It is almost just worth visiting for that. Overall a great experience and recommend a visit for gardening needs.
Always a pleasant shopping experience and a regular outing for a like minded friend. The quality and range of plants is better than anywhere else, as are the prices. The staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. Looking forward to shopping with you in 2020 - thank you!
I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience I had at Flower Power Terrey Hills! I am a novice gardener. Heather and Nathan were both so kind and helpful, giving me great advice. I am super excited about gardening now! I'll be back.
Love your garden center but can’t say much about vines cafe and it was the worst experience ever, terrible food and service. You should have Frankies running all your garden centers cafes, went there and was amazing.
What did we find on a busy Saturday after three days of extreme Sydney heat? A healthy looking nursery with some healthy stock and a couple of very helpful staff who knew their stuff and were happy to spend time with a picky customer! Flower Power at Terry Hills has some good bargains and as long as you are going to a nursery to buy plants (rather than a coffee) you should come away happy from this place.
Great selection of plants, knowledgeable staff and good layout. Pity about the cafe, unclean and shabby.
Great selection of healthy looking plants in beautiful, accessible displays. Particularly good succulent, vegetable and native range. Beautiful array of stylish homewares and gifts. They also sell spas. There is a cafe but I haven't eaten there. Ample parking and trolleys. Easily accessible for prams. Located off Mona Vale Rd
Very wide range of plants, beautiful environments and lovely cafe! Nice place for relaxing and shopping!
Got some roses from here and a Pot a couple years back, there still alive but then again i don't know how long it is before a rose passes away
