76Excellent gym - fantastic range of equipment. Gets quite busy during peak hours but this is the case with most good gyms. Not sure why this FF received such low ratings - underrated!
I have been with them for nearly a month, very happy. The staff are friendly and helpful and the gym is huge. I especially love the fitness group classes and the steam room. I am yet to try the pool and other things. Highly recommended, worth every cent!
Lack of equipment, no WIFI, machines are always broken, the yoga and exercise mats smell (don't think they get cleaned, or at least cleaned regularly enough) - Amazing staff however! A lot of things lack considering it is a platinum gym and you are paying for that.
I had a contract but had to cancel with medical certificate. They have a no charge policy for cancellation with medical certificate. They accepted my certificate but apparently didn't push the cancel button on my account by mistake, so they charged me an extra fortnight. I went there every week for almost four month and every time was rejected with some excuses. That was more than a year ago now and I still haven't received the refund.
Could not even call through to the club I need! Called the 1300 number of Fitness First. The prompt asked me to use the Keypad to enter the first 3 letters of the club. The club I wanted to connect to is Top Ryde. So I have tried entered 867#, and 86667#, multiple times, and an unenthusiastic robot voice saying he's going to disconnect me. This is not how you run a business, Fitness First!
Hesitant to use the pool as it isn't the gym pool it's more of a swimming school for children. It's also time to update the gym equipment and fix the few lockers that haven't been working for at least a year!
Will give zero star if I could. Very out dated equipments, worst platinum gym ever! What a rip off!
What you get in the platinum club is - poor wifi, machines that need to be fixed all the time, no group classes on weekend etc etc! During peak time all machines are occupied. This is the service you pay for at a premium. Not worth it!
STAFFS AND THE MANAGER WERE RACIST! DIDNT LET ME TO SIGN UP JUST BECAUSE OF MY ACCENT AND NATIONALITY FROM JAPAN
Great place to enjoy swimming, surrounded by nice and supportive instructors. My daughter started with BAHAR from the beginning and just after a few months she became very confident. I really recommend BAHAR as an instructor if you want to be taught under supervision of an experienced, kind and professional tutor.
Could be an excellent club if the management would focus more on staff training and services. Require availability for hot showers and access to the pool all the time. If major fix-ups are scheduled, please send members an email notice to avoid time wasting on travel. Equipment breakdown should have taken less time to fix up (experienced over two month on waiting). Simple matters count!
Staff are nice and professional. Broken equipments take long to get fixed. The pool has been closed several times due to maintenance and it seems it has a serious issue.
It’s frustrating when a heap of equipment is ‘out of order’ or very run down. It’s time to upgrade the equipment as the fees are costly. Only bonus is the creche.
Bad services compare with other gyms. Most times they run out the locker cards, even there is a few people in the gym.
People here are racist about bad vibes people come off with.
Club manager cares too much about hair in the pool when he should care about the state of the entire gym eg rust, peeling paint, aged equipment!
I am a Fitness Passport member and used this facility for the first time today and certainly wont be my last!
