67One of the most dirty ladies room I’ve seen half naked woman sweating it out in the sauna? Equipment out of date! Or half the time broken!
Very heavy accent who is supervisor she service has been really appalling. We been termination memberships 1month ago and called multiple times for check was terminated, now they are still didn’t cancel it, keep charging payment. I tried to explain about that, she just said I yelled her, she didn’t know everything about that (so what she knows?) she said I didn’t cancel membership, so I need to pay
Whatever I said to her, she doesn’t listen to me
She doesn’t want to solve any issues, she just said manger will contact to you and she hang up the phone call to me! Unbelievable!
I will gave 0 star for her, terrible service
However Finally manger called us and solved our problem, but we never join this gym again

I can see why people were complaining about the woman at reception. I called to enquire about moving my membership after moving into the area and I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking questions about the size of the pool and fees. Having also checked the reviews I know not to bother checking it out.
Terrible service over the phone. Overpriced. Make sure to cancel a month before your membership ends, as the turnover rate for memberships is considerably high.they have implemented a 28 day notice policy where you must give 28 days notice prior to cancellation (and pay the remaining fees for the two fortnights even if you have passed that year mark).
The staff at the front desk name Gilda was very rude to me, completely lack of basic customer service skill. With the Platinum price, i would expect a better service. Please train your staff or find a new one who knows how to greet and service customers properly.
This gym is seriously broken, & I don’t just mean all of the machines that are out of order, which is frequent.
There are a few good trainers, most others act like they are hanging out with their mates.a real “bro” atmosphere & not friendly. Machines are broken for weeks, toilets & bathrooms are dirty, front desk staff are mostly indifferent & even avoid eye contact when walking past. Patrons don’t use towels & even trainers don’t use towels! Why would a patron bother following rules if they see trainers not setting an example. Management doesn’t listen to feedback.this should not be a Platinum gym.better off at Willoughby FF.
A marked improvement since my last visit about 1-2 years ago. Pleasant surprise with the enclosed swimming pool area which was not there before. Machines have gone through major upgrade, I see. Washroom is a bit like a maze but it was reasonably clean at the point of my visit to the gym. I am a fitness passport holder so I get to use FF at different localities. I would still prefer the Platinum at Willoughby, just saying.
I'd give this place a 0 if I could. The staff named Gilda is very rude. When I complained to Darren the Manager called Darren. They both said they are stick to a "policy" which they can not show to me. Also the funny thing is that I said I need to complain to FitnessFirst corporate about the unpleasant experience, the only number I can contact is the club itself. I literally have to talk to them about complaining themselves. I am very regret to join FitnessFirst and get locked in their contract for another 9 months.
GUYS RMB TO GIVE THE GYM 28 DAYS NOTICE OF YOUR INTENT TO FINISH THE MEMBERSHIP EVEN THOUGH YOU SIGNED UP FOR ONE YEAR.
@Fitness first, you guys have a serious ethic problem related to the sales tactics. Or is it just Shane’s problem?
Their classes are amazing but I feel the gym is really overcrowded. Also the barriers/walls the put up to separate the pool has made the gym floor feel really small and clustered. I feel its ruined the look of the gym also and it doesn't seem to help with the smell of the chlorine! I'll be back of the classes though.
I still receive a lot of calls from Fitness First Chatswood after I joined to that point that I was really getting annoyed at the amount of calls I have to answer, it’s either about new promotions or spending 20 mins enquiring about my experience in Fitness First and advice on which new class I should try. Good try on following up on customer experience but utterly unnecessary. I am blocking this number so I won’t receive any marketing calls.
Been a member for over 5 years. But even though I hear it's the most profitable gym in the Fitness First network, the woman's locker rooms are a pit. I notified the manager 2 months ago about the broken shower dispensers and handles and the ever growing mold on the ceiling and nothing has happened. The faucet in the picture has been broken for over 3 months along with one of the toilets. Too bad a competitor doesn't come into the area; I'd leave in a heartbeat!
Overall a good gym - friendly and lots of classes with variety. Struggle with yoga.is it meant for men?
However can be crowded at peak times, equipment is not always well maintained, and Gilda on reception is a standout. Somebody commented here she doesn’t like Asians but I think it is all races. Rude and rules bound lead to a bad customer disservice experience.
I'd give this place a 0 if I could. I came in to enquire as I have recently left my old gym, only to come across a very intense sales associate who apparently has been in the company for many years. Clearly not happy when I said I needed to think about it before joining as I wanted to try it out first. I won't even bother now. Staff at reception could not even acknowledge me when I walked in which is not the standard service you receive at other PLATINUM Fitness First. Very disappointing.
Can be very busy with cardio training equipments and body pump classes.but usually you can find something to do there. Donna at the reception is very nice and friendly.there are another 2 receptionist ladies that are average and 3 male receptionists that are just OK.and the steam sauna room is usually clean and the swimming pool is not crowded.
How is this a Platinum gym lol. Compared to other Platinum gyms like Mosman, this gym can't even be considered a normal FF gym. The equipment is all old and rusted, cable machines are as rough as a echidna. The personal trainers all seem to be keen to pump people dry with their crazy prices.

Rude staff, equipment always occupied by someone, ladies toilet aren't clean. Not recommend.
Expensive, not worth the premium price
Very expensive. Not worth the cost. You can work out just as effectively at the Crunch gyms for half the price. The atmosphere at Fitness First is nice but this is not worth the money in my opinion. They only care about the money. They will charge you hundreds or even thousands of dollars to cancel your membership. Not a bad gym if you decide that all this money is worth it. But it's really not worth it.
Awful Zumba class, I left 10 mins in. Went looking for the cross trainer machines which weren’t with treadmills but in a far corner where there is only 1 that works. Definitely falls well below a ‘platinum’ standard gym. Won’t be coming back any time soon
Did a trial here and had a great experience.lots of brand new machines, walled off indoor pool and friendly and available staff.looking to join when my trail ends.
