First National Hills Direct The Ponds

We’ve been dealing with First National the ponds for over 12 years now & we consider ourselves lucky for that. Extremely professional staff with extensive experience. Always helpful, courteous and responsive. From our personal experience John & Michelle have the best real estate team in the area if you are looking for the best.

First National real estate Ponds were good to start with, but all went downhill as soon as we were nearing the end of our tenancy. Adele in particular is quite unreasonable. The day after vacating our rental property we recieved numerous ridiculous requests and an extensive cleaning list- such as dust on skirting boards three days after we handed back our keys, further landscaping hedges (we kept this maintained and trimmed before vacating), cleaning the grout above stove (kitchen grout was meticulously scrubbed, the kitchen had been through 2 years of consistent use, I would imagine this is also fair wear and tear.) These examples were just a few to illustrate my point.

Full disclosure: we missed a couple of outstanding items and went back to the property we vacated 5 days later (as instructed by Adele) to correspond with the landlord himself. Landlord was very thankful that we had taken care of his property so well! An entirely different story than what we were hearing from First National. Landlord was only concerned with a couple of items and we made sure these were attended to and confirmed the landlord was happy. He did not care about the extensive list from Adele.
The final straw was a request to wheel the rubbish bin to the curb 2 weeks after we have ended our tenancy and vacated the property!

We were happy clients up until this point. Very disappointed with the correspondence.

Based off these experiences, we would never in our right minds choose or recommend First National Hills Direct The Ponds.

As a buyer not very happy with their service. They don't care about the buyers point in terms of time, professionalism and key hand over process. No basic courtesy except for saying they cannot talk to vendor or ask them anything in detail. Uncleaned house handed over, issues mentioned before settlement were not rectified but flase information was provided. Keys were missing, had to go to fare trading for this and finally got them after nearly a month from settlement date. We were left 2 trucks full of stuff for more then 2 hours. You may want to contact them for selling as you can get away with everything but think twice before buying via them if you are still buying have everything in writing and BE CAREFUL. We dealt with Paul Land for our purchase.

Dellen Blair not only shows professionalism as a property manager but is one of the best in the industry. She has helped us with many road blocks along the way of gaining back our property. As it was a frustrating process, Dellen ensured she had everything covered, kept us updated and ensured we had our key's by a certain date. To date our dealings with her are a pleasure.

I've worked with many agents both personally and professionally, and I can confidently say that Paul is in a league of his own. He takes ownership over the property and the sale in a way no one else does. Do you know of any other agent who would spend more time at your house over the christmas/NY break than they did their own house? On boxing day, wheelbarrowing pebbles around my house to get it up to scratch for sale. Bringing his own sanding equipment to fix up some work that same painters/gyprockers did on the house and he thought it could be improved. And then the sale itself. Sold in 3 days at a price well beyond our top expectations and above any estimate that any agent had given us. He managed the buyers perfectly and extracted additional appropriate value, while ensuring all parties were satisfied. It didn't end at the contract exchange either. He continued to ensure things went smoothly all the way to settlement, stepping in when others in the process weren't functioning as they should have.i swear he never sleeps. His communication was top notch with multiple phone calls a day. He knew everything happening in the local market and was able to advise accordingly. And all of that is only the start of it. Do your own research if you need to. All the top sales in suburb are done by Paul, and there is a reason why. I'll rave about him to anyone who listens.
