We had a terrible experience renting a property from Di Jones in Wollstonecraft. Over a 3 year period we reported multiple issues with our property which were either ignored, we had to fix ourselves or if inspected were not properly fixed.in the end we just gave up trying. These were not small issues either for example like the water system failing.

The final insult came when we decided to move out from the property and attempted to organise the bond. We allowed the owner to complete numerous open house inspections early (despite the fact we were still in the property with small kids) to try and help them out over Christmas.had we known how badly we would be treated we wouldn't have bothered helping.

With the house being a very old property with plenty of wear and tear when we first moved in we actually left the place in a better state then when we arrived. I was amazed to then be told that our exit clean had issues (we had a relocation specialist team do a full days cleaning, 8 hours for a 3 bedder) such as some small amounts of dust and that two small holes had to be repaired (despite never being told previously by both the owner and Di Jones that the two holes for a cabinet would need to be patched over).

Rather than trying to fight this we organised another clean and then completed the patching and painted the small section with the same paint from the original wall painting. Incredibly we were then told this still wasn't up to standard by the property manager Maddison and advised that given the small size of the holes it would be completed for free by a Di Jones sub contractor and the bond would be returned.

Two days later we were then sent a bill for $220 for the wall. It was infuriating to be lied to and deceived by the property manager.

Obviously Di Jones know people need their bond money and we simply wanted this settled prior to Xmas and accepted the loss. But please let this be a warning with this dodgy group to have everything in writing and do not accept anything over the phone. I'm glad I never have to deal with Di Jones again.

Trevor was always great with communications and we had an excellent experience selling our property. Trevor clearly has extensive knowledge of the property market and strategies to best sell our property. We always felt like he and his team were always in our corner, trying to get us the best possible deal. Will definitely use Trevor for any properties in the future.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Di Jones and Nicholas. From the outset of our 2 year rental in this wonderful apartment at Kurraba Point, there has been nothing that Nicholas didn't organise immediately we called. Di Jones is such a professional organisation that we would use them and Nicholas for any real estate matters.thank you Nicholas.

During the course of my rental tenancy Peter Tassone was the property manager I dealt with. He was professional and swift in correspondence whenever I needed to raise issues about the apartment or ask for information. After having had some painful experiences with agents in the past, I am truly appreciative of how hassle free the overall experience was. Cheers Peter

Renting with Di Jones was not a positive experience due to how we were treated by our property manager Joanna.

First, I caught Covid towards the end of the lease but we were forced to have prospective tenants inspect the property while I was still unwell. On another occasion, we requested to push back an inspection (that was proposed to us at very short notice) by an hour because of prior commitments, and Joanna was very unreasonable and threatened to pursue damages because we were “denying access”. It turns out that she was in fact available at that later time and so we agreed upon the inspection time and date. However, Joanna failed to turn up at that time and failed to respond to our calls and texts and left us waiting around for her to arrive. We never received any further communication or apology from Joanna but others at Di Jones were apologetic. It is a real shame that some people are comfortable treating others with such little respect and courtesy.

Peter Tassone has been a thorough and thoughtful property manager. He has worked diligently to ensure that our repairs were done as quickly as possible. Throughout our time working with him he answered my emails quickly and called when we needed to clarify any information. He has moved up to a supervisor position and I believe that this is well deserved. We highly recommend Peter Tassone and his services.

Our rental experience was horrible. The two years we rented with DiJones our property manager rarely took our calls and never returned calls or respond to emails. We had to chase him for everything. When we tried contacting the main number to escalate the matter the receptionist literally told us that they cannot do anything about it and that we would have to deal with the property manager. It took him 6-7 months to replace a faulty microwave after continuously chasing him. At the end of the tenancy our ordeal continued and we had to follow up numerous times to get our rental bond back. We tried to escalate the matter and we were told someone senior would contact us to hear us out but that never happened. This was our worst rental experience and will never choose them again or recommend them to anyone

Jesse Zammit - A charming partner in the sales process
Jesse was professional from our first introduction right through to the completion of the sale. He has a welcoming smile and friendly greeting that immediately puts everyone at ease. He participated in each phase of the property marketing and was happy to assist with whatever was required - even if that meant getting his hands dirty in rearranging heavy items for the photo shoot. I admired his 'solution based' attitude to small problems as they presented themselves, it was innovative and discreet. The care he takes with his personal presentation flows through to all aspects of the marketing and sales process. I have lived in different suburbs in Sydney and dealt with a number of property managers before, Peyton Davey is by far the best. She is very responsive to emails, calls, messages and show empathy to tenants.

Property manager Nicholas Bellwood has been managing my properties for quite some time now.
When he took over my portfolio I was not a fan of DiJones realestate. I always felt I was just a “number”, a “cut and paste” client.
Nicholas was very aware of my concerns, and went out is way to change the way business was done. He got to know me, my properties, and did everything he could to ensure he was managing my properties with minimal intervention from me.
Even last year when I pulled a property from them for renovations, despite not being on their books, he stayed with me throughout the entire renovation, offering expert advice on strata renovation procedures, building code requirements, best practice materials to use to ensure long term minimum maintenance with tenants, and showed me what other owners had done in the same building.
And within days of finishing the renovation, he had found a high value tennant for me.
His day to day management of my portfolio has been impeccable, and I would definitely recommend Nicholas to any potential landlords looking for the right manager.

Peyton is absolutely incredible, there have been a few challenges that I have needed to work through and Peyton has always been very responsive, professional, helpful and fair. Peyton Davey is the best property manager I have ever dealt with. She is highly responsive to tenants and owners and very professional in the way she handles every issue that arises. She is also a delight to speak to and nothing is ever too much trouble.
