We stay at the crown plaza hunter valley at least 2 times a year. Today l, after we checked out from our two night stay I thought it was appropriate I write a review.
The staff at this resort are the nicest, most helpful, kindest and friendliest people that we ever have had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing is ever too much trouble, no need is gone unseen. Their service is honestly second to none, and this is truly one of the main reasons we always come back. It’s so nice staying somewhere that you always feel welcomed and really at home.
The rooms are always spotless, the cleanest rooms we ever stay in when we go away.
There is always someone cleaning around the pool area to ensure it’s tidy, and staff walking around picking up after people.
I never ever write a review, but I felt the need to give credit where it’s due.
You will not be disappointed staying here. This is our 5th year in a row and we’ll be back again soon!

Great breakfast buffet. Good rooms. Will be better when balcony around pool is finished. Bar staff were a bit abrupt. But it was a large conference so I assume it was a tough evening for him

Pleasent stay. Villa's adequate. Beds comfy. Bit of golf. Couple of drinks. Friendly staff. Central for anything Hunter Valley. Great weekend.

Stayed at the Crown Plaza on November 16th & 17th in room #536 and have never been more disappointed in a hotel stay ever. The rooms are underwhelming to say the least with VERY basic amenities, small televisions and no kettles etc… For $765 for two nights, ($351 for night one and $414 for night two) I couldn’t have felt more ripped off. We arrived on the Friday and checked in and woke up to go have breakfast onsite – the breakfast buffets was decent but at $39 per person you’d expect it to be. We later returned to our room to wait for our wine tour and called in to request tissue and that the batteries be checked on our television remote as they did not work or were clearly going out. We went on our wine tour, Two Fat Blokes, which was great and returned to drop off our bottles of wine at concierge and requested to have them delivered to our room. That evening, when we got back, we noticed that no one had been to our room and while I don’t need new towels or turn down service, I do think for $765 I should at least have tissue and a working remote. As it was rather late at this point, I called the front desk first thing in the morning and the “Duty Manager, ” Chris, took my call. He said that it states in my confirmation that the room is not to be serviced. I asked for toilet paper and a remote to be fixed, nothing that required much assistance but the frustrating and unprofessional manner of Chris while he argued with me about my confirmation stating that the room was not a serviced room was honestly a disgrace. For the record, I did pull up my confirmation and there was no mentioned of the room not being serviced. Chris offered me and my partner and I complimentary breakfast (WOW, what a win for $765!) and offered no apology. As we left the hotel and got on the road, I realized that our wine was not delivered to our room from concierge either…. So here I am again chasing simple tasks that a 4.3* star resort charging $765 should be handling. I honestly will never be staying here again. We had friends staying over at the Oakes Cypress Lakes the same weekend as us and were raving about their experience. Chris, the “Duty Manager” has absolutely zero understanding of customer service, as does the concierge and most of the staff. Take your money and get the experience you deserve (and pay) for elsewhere!

Paid premium for staying at this resort and was given a room miles away from the main resort for Breakfast, pool and facilities. The villa was clean but came with bugs and on the edge of the golf course. Could not use the outside table and chairs as two golf balls hit our villa and one just missed my son by about a foot.
Restaurant was also the bar so if you wanted a quiet meal good luck.
And to top it all of after paying $700 for the night they then wrongly charged for breakfast.
Will NOT be going back.

Such a gorgeous venue. Very large property and open. Breakfast options are incredible. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful large heated pool. Perfect location too. Would recommend to anyone!

Lots of things to do, no dull moment. There is everything for anyone, bar for the adults and playground for the kids. Also have golf course if youre looking for one.

The 3 bedroom villa was spacious and comfortable. The TV receptions in the room could be improved. There were quite a variety for breakfast including make your own juices. Had a great time sampling their own beer.

It is as expected expensive. $40 for breakfast was a little steep. For the same price my brother stayed in a beautiful bnb 10 minutes down the road.
The parking spots were very close together. As a result i had two people open their doors into my car. Also no cameras in parking lot and a huge sign saying "park at own risk".

First impressions is that this a huge resort styled hotel. We stayed here for 3nights so we could attend a nearby wedding & found it to be very lovely. I was worried it would be crowded due to the amount of people here but there was tons of space & easy access to all onsite amenities. Rooms in the hotel section where we stayed were very comfortable & a number friends stayed in the villa's & they also enjoyed their room. We played golf on the Saturday morning & I would rank this course as one of the best I've ever played on. The Crowne is a great place to stay with a group of friends or just as a couple; we'll be back for sure!

A beautiful resort with wonderful service. Its location in the Hunter valleys has it surrounded by lots of wineries, chocolate factories and cheese shops.

I stayed one night for my daughter's wedding on 18/8/18 in the main hotel room 345. My daughter and many of the guests also stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. The hotel and villas are beautiful, immaculate and luxurious.
I can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, flexible and very helpful. Carlie was especially accommodating and kind. Carlie gave me an awesome Mother- of -the Bride survival kit which included safety pins which became vital when a bridesmaid's zipper broke. My daughter told me staff decorated her room with rose petals and left champagne while the wedding was in progress.
Our experience was delightful in so many ways. I can't wait to return. I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.

Visited here for a work conference, check in was a breaze the staff had all our room keys ready to go. The grounds were so lovely and well kept, the gardens and grass were manicured well. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa, it was very nice and very spacious. The conference rooms were modern and the morning/afternoon tea was lovely. Breakfast was the real star, having an enormous range of items. Everything from cold cuts to pancakes it really was a huge range. I will definitely return.

Charged additional fees when checking out. Told in a vague way it was some kind of tarrif. Never really found out what it was for. Advise you to enquire at time of booking if there will be any changes to the price after your stay. Pizza fresh made in the sports bar area very nice but at $24 and more it should be.

I have visited and stayed at the Crowne Plaza twice, for work on both occasions. This place is great. The bar and food is great, and the breakfast buffet is also good.
The facilities around the complex are fantastic for large groups and families. The pool is huge, and there is plenty of space to play ball games and get out and about.
I am a bit of a golfer, so having a course in the complex is a big plus, and the course is very good.
The villas a great, and again good for large groups.

Fantastic place to stay! Fortunate enough to get a massive room with an internal spa. The included breakfast was awesome too! Will definitely book here again.

Very nice place to stay at: probably the best of the lower Hunter Valley. Rooms are nice, clean, modern and comfortable. However, will need more car parking as it is always full no matter what time of the day or night.

Spent a night here for hunter hunter tour and it was a comfortable place to stay. Room was massive with spa and everything we needed. Room was clean and quiet.
Breakfast at Redsalt restaurant was normal and acceptable. Though coffee was not so great.
Pool area was beautiful and clean.
