Love this place.great venue, great vibe, great location.though it is always hard to park.so catch the train and enjoy the stroll down Wilson street! The markets on the weekends are awesome and there is always something fun happening!

Have only been to Carriageworks a few times, but always enjoy my visits. Friendly staff and interesting exhibitions, performances ans events - plus food and drink on site if you're just accompanying an art lover:)

A very interesting place with awesome exhibitions! Near Newtown but nearest to Mcdonaldtown Station. Until end of March there is the Nick Cave's exhibition that is really wonderful.

Always new exhibits and spaces to check out. Wonderful urban/grungy vibe and great to spend a few hours getting your culture on

Great place to host media and product launch events. Bare industrial vibe and large expansive space that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Sydney

Saw Dubboo which was amazing highly suggest it. Carriageworks also has a market outside under a huge pavilion on Sundays.

Went during an art show and it was a very neat place. Interesting arquitecture around but don't go if there is nothing planned. Otherwise it is just a big empty building.

It has a very tall ceiling and across from it is the weekend farmer's market. Definitely check out the market if you are in the area.

Great farmers market, with a good mix of food, produce and artisan groceries. It is a little on the pricey side but worth it for the quality. The art gallery was also a sight to behold. Unfortunately time didn't allow a full exploration of the gallery but what I saw was beautiful.

Beautiful decor of the old train yard and such a large space, very, VERY humid and hot inside filled for a large event but even still the music carried through the venue without any distortion. But yes, VERY warm.

Great venue to be at for an event, and to work with for one too. The staff are excellent and very easy to work with. Their are plenty of staff rooms and accessible docks and loading spaces. The large main hall itself is always very clean and very easy to work with for exhibitions and festivals.

Went to the Everleigh markets. Wonderful selection of produce, lots of freshly prepared food for brunch.

Always a good place to visit. On Saturdays the farmers market is a good draw. (yeah yeah yeah, it's over priced- but if you live in the inner west and wanna keep up the pretence of being a hippie and want farm produce but are content with breathing inner city air.it's the price you pay.)
Having art installations next door makes that $8 artisan bread worth while.
In all seriousness though, it's a good morning out.

The concept is great, a few OHS hazards about the place but yeah. Would be great to see less "High Art" here but the neighbours would probably complain about the noise.

Amazing market - lots of fresh produce and great food and coffee. Good for families although hard to get around with a pram and lots of pets

Very cool space with an absolute belter of a coffee shop in ‘Fonzie’!

The coffee is really delicious, there’s a great talkative barista/owner, and there is also yummy selection of little cakes and pastries.

Would highly recommend Fonzie as well as Carriageworks itself for its well designed space and cool atmosphere.

Beautiful venue. Had an amazing night here. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I love the look and feel of this place. Going to an event here is always fun.

Great locale to take a photo and huge space to hold an event.

Has a great mix of retro and industrial feel.

A good venue but disappointing that the only food available for the performance was a very expensive food box.

After attending and hosting events at this venue, I can recommend it for a variety of purposes. Venue staff are easy to deal with and professional.
