Carriageworks reviews
68Cute market but doesn’t have much variety food wise. Best if you’re looking to purchase just a few fresh produce.
Carriage works farmer market has a super great selection of artisanal foods, organic vegetables, and delicious food to eat
Always an exciting place to see the best contemporary art, and eat some gourmet treats on the weekend
Unpretentious atmospheric flexible arts spaces. A great venue for creative endeavours, festivals, performances, exhibitions, experimental arts.
Food for the soul.
Classy ambiance; cutting edge culture meets industrial aesthetic.
This place with its high ceilings, reaching steel ribs and patinaed brickwork calls to mind an idea of some visionary dreamer mechanics who could have occupied these cavernous spaces. Carriageworks harnesses and rides home on this collective imaginary through a volatile juxtaposition of
working class and high society,
new and old,
verve and stasis,
high culture and the variegated borderlands of the emergent cultural geist.
Great market if you love this type of stuff. Cozy town vibe, nice atmosphere and friendly store holders. It’s a bit small so don’t except to spend a few hours here but if you enjoy markets then this a great place to pop by, highly recommended.
Great Saturday markets, but also on a rainy day when the markets aren't on a great place for your dogs to run around
I love going to the Saturday farmers markets at the carriageworks.
The produce is amazing and I cannot walk away with buying a bunch of gorgeous flowers.
I found out recently that if you come a bit later.around 11.30.12is
Venders are keen to sell so you can pick up some great bargains.
A definite must do on a Saturday morning
The atmosphere and the fan participation was great. They got the wave to go completely around 6 times
Love Carriageworks Farmers Market. Stunning flowers and amazing produce and treats. Highly recommend come rain or shine!
I have been to the farmers market here a few times, lovely fresh produce and I love the whole atmosphere of the place.
The farmer's market on Saturday morning has a selection of excellent produce. Fruit, vegetables, oils, cakes (Flour and Stone) and wines.
An absolutely one of a kind place - and fantastic space for exhibitions and performances of all kinds.
Overpriced 'organic' selection which is really just a limited smattering of a maybe 3-4 local producers. Art is meh, and this place is hard to find.
COVID-19 has decimated this place, there is nothing left except for a few cafes serving the same generic cafe drinks and food. Your dinning options are non existent here. What's left are just a few grocer stalls and the violin man.
Great space. Most of the time it is empty but it is to host many other events. Well maintained.
Love this place but could all dog owners leave their dogs at home Sat morning while their owners shop at the markets and have some fun play time after the shop, it just gets a little crowded and not enjoyable for the pets, it’s not a dog /your image place, it’s to shop / eat place, lots of play time later!
Inspiring and artful complex, interesting show, we got few drinks at the Archie Rose pop up bar. I appreciate this experience more than expected
Great farmers market here, with shops selling fresh and local produce. Bought some honey that I wish I had bought more of! Great atmosphere, lovely vendors. The beef pies were really good, and so were the falafels when we went!
