Avoid BresicWhitney at all costs.

We rented a property in Surry Hills through Bresic. Easily one of the worst leasing agents we've ever dealt with having lived in several cities globally.

When we moved into the property it was utterly filthy. We were told it had been professionally cleaned but this cannot have been the case. There was mould on all the blinds, the bathroom ceiling was still covered in mould, there were dead cockroaches in all the rooms and the floor was slippery with grease.

As well as this there were a litany of other issues which we had been told would be sorted before moving in. Light fittings were hanging from sockets, the gas stove top outright just did not work and multiple taps were leaking. You'd have thought that these issues would be sorted during the tenancy turnover but they don't seem to be important to Bresic.

When we contacted our agent, Alexandra, about these issues she could not have been less interested. A master of the sigh before reply and the passive aggressive email, any attempts at explaining the issues were met with a stonewall response.

Eventually, after a lot of chasing and back and forth, the cleaner was sent back. This "professional cleaner" for the house (a two bed one bath) would have cost the previous tenants $420. What you are really getting for your money is a student with a cloth and a vacuum cleaner, no mop. This property was far too large to be cleaned by a single person given how filthy it was and to the standard an incoming tenant would expect. It's clear that Bresic must make a nice little markup here.

Understood from a slum landlord, not so much from a company branding themselves as a trendy urban outfit in inner Sydney. I do honestly believe if a landlord was aware of the efforts put in by Bresic they would look elsewhere.

Do not recommend for landlords or tenants. A classic case of a useless agent managing to shoe horn themselves into a role no-one needs or wants.

In my time house hunting in Sydney, Merridy was by the most professional and helpful real estate agent I came across. She helped me find the perfect rental and I highly recommend coming to her and Bresic Whitney for your rental needs.

Sophie was fantastic throughout our lease period (over 3 years) and make the process of moving out stress free. She was a great problem solver and responded quickly to our queries. Highly recommend renting a property represented by Sophie and her team.

My partner and I rented a flat in Camperdown for a year, managed by Bresic Whitney, Darlinghurst. We were highly impressed by the professionalism, diligence, punctuality and helpful nature of this business. HUGE shout out to our property manager Kate Stephenson. She was always on the ball, dealt with issues promptly and courteously, and was always super helpful. Having rented many properties over the years and dealt with near non-existent property managers, Kate was a an absolute godsend. You are a seriously lucky person if she becomes your property manager!

Helped this cro, he didn’t pay me a dime. He is a lying, psychic attacking, user, narcissist and energy vampire and monster. Only served himself.

Excellent experience.to sum it up, the BresicWhitneyTeam had give us the 'customer service' in every sense of the word. Word ‘thank you’ is not enough.

They managed to screw us on the bond by invoking some "cleaning fees" for a house that was already clean

The worst agent ever! On real eastet website, they put 630K then change to 650k, then 665k because I offered 650. And they willing me to pay more. So I just gave up and sign the other one. After few days, they changed price to 630k again, then 600k, and then right now is 550k. But they won't sell at 620k, which is over 10%. It's illegal!

Dryer is been out of order for a month now and they won't replace it or get me rent reduction. I've been getting told that a new dryer is coming, it's been over 4 weeks.
