Called to check if the doctor I needed a follow up appointment with was working and I was on the waiting line for 10 minutes before reception picks up and just hangs up on me. This happened 4 more times this morning with wait times to be hung up on being 21,14,8, and 17minutes. Absolutely disgraceful treatment of patients especially now the are charging a gap fee.

The receptionists are terrible especially the older one. She will pick and choose who she wants to put through and leave you for 1hr 40mins, she is sarcastic and rude while providing service to others.
Don’t bother calling no matter how sick you are they don’t pick up the phone.

They practice disability medical discrimination only those who pay get bookings and the rest are left waiting. In-house, Telehealth and on their new online system.

The 2 GP I saw before, they were both pretty much useless. Just called attempting to get a phone consultation, it just got hanged off after listening for all the instructions and transferred to reception.what a terrible service?

This is a walk in, bulk billing medical centre so there’s some level of expectation in regards to the running of the place and the experience you are in for. My doctor was very abrupt, rude and condescending, I don’t think she looked at me in the eyes even once, thankfully the issue I was visiting for was a minor one that it didn’t bother me too much that this is the experience I had. On the plus side, contrary to many other reviews, the receptionists were excellent and I can’t fault them at all. If it’s just some quick advice or a doctors certificate you’re after then I’d say that this place is fine, in and out, if it’s something more serious it might be worth at the very least asking for a doctor you may have heard positive things about.

Nightmare, just had my son and was sent from royal womens for blood tests as bulk billed when I can. Then within a few days they have changed to private and won’t be able to release results unless I pay $70. Thanks for the heads up! Now have to go do all over again at a bulk billed practise,

There are very few Drs at this surgery that don’t make me feel incredibly uncomfortable and as if I’m wasting their time. They are so rude, unapproachable and unsympathetic. I am a Midwife and I would never speak to my Patients the way the Drs speak to their Patients here.

I don’t understand all medical centres now make appointments. Everytime you go there the room is full of patients. The receptionist are the worst in this clinic.

The doctors are great once you get in to see them. Calling the office feels impossible. Sometimes you’re on hold for half an hour, sometimes they hang up on you, today I’ve been trying to get through for 2 hours.

The receptionists can also be quite rude if you have Covid symptoms (e.g. A cough, or sore throat), even if you don’t have Covid. They’ll make you wait outside, regardless the weather, with no seating. So could wait for up to an hour in the rain, while you’re sick? ! Or they’ll tell you make a phone consultation… but then they don’t answer the phones. It’s very frustrating.

I've been going to this medical centre for years but will look for another one as it's been privatised and it's not Bulk Billed anymore since last week.
The main reason I was still coming here was the fact that is a hassle free Walk-in. Many other practices, as I have been researching, call themselves walk-in but they are always full and can't inform the approximate wait time.
They are charging $35 per visit on weekdays and more on weekdays (not sure how much).
Most doctors are good and receptionists are ok, due to what they have to deal on a daily basis - I've seen some bad abusive patients during some visits here.

This is probably the worse medical centre I have ever been to. The only reason why I kept going is because it is ridiculously close to my home which is very convenient, especially when you are ill or injured. It is bulk billed also which is rare these days but since this will change in June, there is no way I will ever come back.

There are probably 2-3 OKish doctors but that's the highest level you can get. Most consultations last less than 5 minutes and often more than not, they hear your problem, make a prognostic without even asking questions and it's done.

And don't get me started on the reception. Although I do acknowledge it's an extremely busy centre, the receptionists are disgraceful. Not only they lack of customer service skills but they love hanging up on people. It's appalling.

Doctor by the name of Simon is completely useless. Wish I never went. Looking at the reviews apparently this place is pretty bad and it’s the norm? And wait, coming mid June you want patients to pay a $35 gap fee to help keep this place running? ! Only went because my favourite GP (in another practice) was booked for days. First time at this practice and last time!

Extremely poor customer service and lack of professionalism. Came in with my son at 9: 30am today and was told there was a 20 min wait. Filled out his details on the iPad, as requested. 45 minutes later I asked how much longer it would be, as he was feeling very ill. Discovered that the iPad system failed and the stupid receptionist had not even entered his details into the system, so he was not even on the waiting list. Are you kidding me? That is so incompetent I can't even get my head around how incredibly uncaring she could be. Why wouldn't she come up to us in the waiting room and ask us to fill out a paper form? Was she happy for us to just sit there all day? She didn't even apologise. Very angry. That behaviour is just not acceptable for a receptionist at a medical centre. If you don't care about sick people, work somewhere else. If you're a new patient, triple check that your details have been entered or you'll waste your time.

Thank you all for the service you provide. I have been visiting this practice for nearly 10 years and would like to acknowledge and thank the doctors, nurses and reception staff for your hard work and expertise, especially during these very challenging times since the outbreak of Covid-19. A special thank you to Dr Kourosh Mahmoodi for his expertise in treating ear infections. I am very grateful for the care you have given me.

A few good doctors (named below) - most not. There are three doctors here at Bondi Junction 7 day Medical Centre that I can recommend. I've been a patient here since it first opened (2013 I think).
1) Dr Stuart Morris is my doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring.
2) Dr Fay Sim is another really good doctor. Unfortunately today with both those doctors away I had to roll the dice and luckily I was treated by a
3) Dr Myfanwy, who I was really happy with.
The 2 Aroney brothers are also good doctors but unfortunately you cannot request them, so you will only be able to see them when they are ' the first available ' doctor and yr next in line.
These 5 doctors mentioned do their job well and they care (in the way you would expect a doctor to care).
I find the main focus for alot of the other doctors here is to turn over patients quickly so that they can maximise their income. At times I think they are not just ' uncaring ' but they are medically negligent. I guess this is to be expected when many of these doctors make sure that they end the consultation quickly and this short time frame never varies regardless of the medical complexity or health concerns of their patient. Pretty sad really.
This fact was highlighted to me today when I was feeling anxious because I hadn't phoned first to check which doctors were in and Dr Stuart Morris and Dr Fay Sim were both away. Luckily I got a good doctor rather than the other kind, which we have all seen too many times.

Dr Devina Hiley literally is the worst doctor I've ever seen, the real question is how this place hasn't been closed down

I called today to equire about getting the Pfizer booster shot. My call was answered almost immediately by a well mannered receptionist. She advised me if I wanted the booster to come as soon as possible as they were giving them today. From the time I made the call, caught the bus and got my booster shot it was only an hour in total. I couldn't be more happier at the service that I got from everyone. I was very impressed.

I popped in at 5: 15 pm and I was told they were too busy. The place close at 6 pm and there were only 6 people in the waiting area.
Very poor customer service!

Do not go here- I booked to get a Pfizer vaccination booster here online. Was sent to the website from the NSW govt website. Booked and even received a text message reminding me of my appointment. When I drove to Bondi Junction and went for my appointment I was told “they do not have any Pfizer- only getting some late January”. When told them I had an appointment they replied “we do not do appointments, only walk ins” When I asked them how and why I had a Pfizer vaccination booking they just shrugged-“ that’s your problem not ours”. That is really frustrating and unprofessional. Do not go here.

DO NOT GO THERE. Visited the centre today because I’m sick and needed a consultation + script. Firstly, I presented myself with a covid negative pcr test result and they made me wait standing outside in the heat for a doctor to be available to see me (great when you’re already not feeling 100% - I seriously hope they don’t make our elders / fragile persons do the same). The doctor then rings me on my phone telling me he cannot see me as I’ve got flu like symptoms. Guess what? You can still be sick without having covid but cannot see a doctor apparently. I insist saying that I didn’t pay $75 (I don’t have Medicare and pay privately) to be on the phone and I need an auscultation. He agrees to see me, looks at my throat with his light from 1.5 meters, no auscultation, temperature check nor blood pressure taken. Tells me he doesn’t know what I have and asks me what I want written on my script. What kind of doctor does that!? I then tell him that I’m actually an oncology registered nurse and gives him a few clues: tonsillitis, probably bacterial looking at the colour and I probably need antibiotics, Amoxicillin for example. And that’s what I got + a wrong and confused explanation of what tonsillitis is and how it’s treated. I left in shock thinking that’s the kind of « health professional » my patients have to deal with in their everyday life for much more complex health issues than a simple tonsillitis.
