I generally have no issues with doctors other than the occasional dismissal when asking for referrals but when you pay for the consult you tend to be seen faster and “get what you pay for” basically.

They seem to have reduced their bulk billing “capacity” now. Went in the afternoon and was told first available doctor was not an option as they no longer do bulk billing at that time (2.30 pm) and that was due to the busy period they go private after they’ve reached their bulk billing capacity. This didn’t quite make sense as they couldn’t give me a hard figure on how many bulk billing patients was their maximum and it wasn’t overly busy either? Sounded a bit fishy but I was seen.

Shame the owners of the practice take advantage of patients this way. I know GPs are not adequately paid but patient health care should be the primary goal and not profits - many walked out. Business is business I suppose.

Do not go here - not worth it - most pathetic medical practise ever - unprofessional to the extreme - except for a couple good doctors like the aroni brothers

Love love love dr myfwani (i think thats how you spell it) although reception never answers the phone and they dont have an email provided.

I’m not sure what everyone is mad about in these reviews. I went in here today with no appointment. Saw a Dr, got treated, got a prescription and meds in under an hour. Everyone was friendly enough and did their job. Since I’m not from Australia I did pay out of pocket though, and that’s why I was seen so quickly. However my entire visit was $91AUD which I think was incredibly reasonable.

If it wasn’t for the amazing Dr Sahade and Dr Mahmoodi I would not step foot into this place! The reception staff are the RUDEST I’ve ever come across. Don’t bother calling ; I was calling from my car to reschedule an appointment with a nurse and was waiting for the phone to be picked up for about 40minutes. I parked my car and walked into the centre, whilst still calling and low and behold, there was non phone ringing at their end! They turn the volume down so they can’t hear the phone and be disturbed by it. When I asked a staff member why they don’t pick up the phone the response I received was ‘we are very busy! ’. I said you can acknowledge the call and let the caller know you’ll attend to them asap. They don’t even pick up calls from other doctors practices; this happened when my cardiologists specialists secretary was trying to call in regards to a fax sent by my doctor.
Management take note and please provide your reception staff with adequate people skills training. You may also want to provide them with a PA system so all patients, including the elderly who are mostly hearing impaired, can hear their names called instead of being yelled at when their names have to be called three times due to the noise from the busy interaction at the front.
I can assure you when my doctor leaves, I’ll be following suit.

Dr Hiley is a wonderful doctor. Haven’t had great experiences with the other doctors so stick with Dr Hiley. Staff on the desk are really lovely.

I recently had a procedure in hospital that subsequently required careful management of the wound with daily dressing changes. This was really important to ensure it correctly healed and minimised infection risk.
I am very grateful for the wonderful service and care I received at the Bondi Junction Medical Centre. All staff there were wonderful - reception staff, the amazing nurses and Dr Mahmoodi too.
I was able to walk in each and every day at a time that suited my schedule which I really appreciated.
I received the best of care and suffered no complications whatsoever thanks to Bondi Junction Medical Centre.

7 day medical centre that closes on Sundays Always busy, could easily be open until 8pm or later at night. Always seen within about 30 mins off a walk in.

Rude woman doctor, took me 3 days of calling for someone to answer my call.

I think you could easily get 3-5 stars if you hired some people who some had pride in their job and their attitudes for work.

I can't say anything good about this practice. Male doctor was rude, had no manners and zero care factor. Not a place to go if you care about your well being, they definitely do not care

Lady was horrible and judgemental about me getting the pill, and implied that I was getting STD’s. Yelled out that I was about to get a cervical screening in front of 2 men. Stay the eff away from this place.

Saw Dr Trevor Tingate to get referral to see therapist after having been s*xually assaulted. While speaking to me with no empathy and badgering me of the legitimacy of my assault. He had concluded that because of the context, it couldn’t have been s*xual assault. Having to advocate for myself, I clarified that I had been asleep when the r*pe took place. Only then did he accept my need for a therapist appointment. This GP is the definition of heartless, greedy scum. I hope you see this and realise because of your actions, during a time I was clearly suicidal, I didn’t get the help I needed. Will be making a complaint to the Health Care Commission. If the centre would like to get in touch, please feel free.

Avoid at all costs. Purely due to the poor reception staff, rude ignorant and really let the Drs and the Nurse station down which is a shame.

I have always found the doctors at this practice to be both good and caring – and the reception staff likewise. Today was no exception. I was having a little difficulty with a tricky prescription, and a receptionist by the name of THALIA (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly) took over and in no time my problem was solved. She was wonderful and I am deeply grateful for her care and attention … Lawrence Held

Served by a lovely receptionist- name was Rosina and the doctor was very informative and took his time to explain.
Bulk billed as I was happy to wait.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this is the worst medical centre I’ve ever attended. I tried to book a Telehealth appointment, they charged $80 to my card, and have now cancelled my appointment and won’t return my calls. When I call, they answer and hang up immediately. Even face to face when I’ve been there in the past has been awful service, the reception staff are so rude and snappy. Avoid at all cost.

Very rude receptionist Do not go there they don’t message you when your result is ready and they insist you see a doctor to find out your results at the Bondi Junction medical center which has no appointments but walk-in waiting time is more than 2hrs!
Also they insist you go see their GP even though your referral for the tests were from other GP/clinic

They say they are bulked billed and walk in but only until they think is a good time to be. I got there at midday and they told me if I wanted to see a doctor I could but paying because the bulked billed were completed for the day.
Will never go to this center if I need to pay is awful service and not very friendly practitioners. After 1 month trying I needed to pay to collect my results

Dr Stuart Morris, Dr Faye Sinn and Dr Myfanwy are all good doctors at Bondi Junction 7 day MedicalCentre. Unfortunately they are being let down by their reception staff.

Worst doctors, in particular the reception staff, so rude on every occasion I have ever visited the practice or when I have called through.
