Great facilities. Lots of lanes even during peak periods. They are managing to make a tidy profit due to COVID, by charging the same price for sauna/steam room entry but limiting you to a time period vice duration.

Great modern facilities with welcoming staff. Perfect for families, pram friendly, lots of room. Look forward to our next visit.

The temperature of the indoor swimming pool is good, but it's only 25 metres, and too many people. The outdoor swimming pool is 50 metres, but the temperature is cold. In winter, I don't want to swim in the outdoor swimming pool because it's really cold. I hope they can make outdoor swimming pool more warm in winter.

This is a great redevelopment of the pre-existing site. There are two kids' paddling pools (one inside, one outside but partially shaded), both with fun fountains and sprayers. They both start at ankle level and become just deep enough for an adult to swim, but shallow enough for a child to stand. Most importantly, the water is warm enough for young children and babies to enjoy for extended periods. There's a deeper swimming pool inside at the same warm temperature too. It goes to full adult swimming depth, but has a ramp to allow gradual entry.

Outdoors, (aside from the partially shaded kids' area), there's a nice sunbathing area with shade and fake grass, and a huge lanes pool. I'll be interested to see if they maintain the comfortable temperature into the winter months.

Other amenities:
- Free keycode lockers
- Cafe
- Swimwear shop.
- Vending machines

Parking is slightly limited, with small-ish car parks on either side of the main entrance.

I have not been to this pool for a number of years and I must say it has changed a lot. There's a lot more focus on the kids nowadays with both an indoor and outdoor kids pool. There is also some good shaded areas where you can sit back and chill, while enjoying some decent food from the cafe for a decent price.

While we were there, we also witnessed how the staff efficiently and effectively dealt with contamination at the kids pools. It was a place for a family outing and definitely a positive experience for us.

I have been doing workout at Ashfield Aquatic Centre for 1.5 months. I had a C-Section in early January to deliver my baby girl. Thanks to the aquatic center creche, I can leave my baby there for a couple of hours a day, then either go to the pool or the gym, to focus on improving my own health. The ladies there are all very nice and they have relative experiences/trainings. I feel safe to put my baby in their hands. The centre have been tremendously helpful in my recovery. I highly recommend it to all the moms who need to take care of their babies while also need to workout and have a short break.

Great new renovations but the staff are weirdly aggressive towards parents and children. Friends kid (age 6) got upset when a lifeguard angrily booted his toy dinosaur he'd thrown out of the pool. The lifeguard then followed him around the pool for the next few minutes until we moved inside. We left after he then came inside and stood over the kids again.

Super modern, quite a few different pools! Only downside is that there's quite a thermal shock going between "rooms": cafe can be quite aircon cold while the pool one is warm.

My rating all about gym manager, one of the worst manager l ever seen
Never smile at anyone never say hello
When you need to say something about gym you never got friendly response

Before renovation swimming school kids can go any day for practice, don't need to pay. Only pay for swimming school. Now new rules need to pay to enter.
Lots of council are looking after community kids. Only ashfield pool doesn't care about community kids.

Ashfield Aquatic center completely demolished. New upgrade is going on. Good for the community in Ashfield area. Hope they will remove pigeons too.

A lot of great memories here from when I used to go school.
They are currently renovating right now so can’t wait to visit again once the renovations are completed

Currently closed for reconstruction!

A good local pool. The facilities are a bit dated but the pool itself is pretty good

It's good place for all types of swimming lovers, like learn, practice, improve skills etc
Well maintained.

Okay in summer but really not enough space to cope with swim schools etc and allow families to enjoy facilities and make room for lap swimmers

There are good and bad things.
Outdoor pool is very outdated, definitely needs some sort of upgrade.
Indoor pool is better, warm temperatures and more lifeguards.
Not the best place for a swim but decent enough for you to try.

Pretty crappy leisure centre. Outdoor pool is very outdated, definitely needs some sort of upgrade. Indoor pool is better, warm temperatures and more lifeguards. Bathrooms are kinda stupid. Very dirty, smelly and you have to pay for the hot shower. 20cents a minute!: (Canteen is overpriced, icy poles for $3! Outrageous! I don't recommend.
