Ashfield Aquatic Centre

First time visit. A few people there, 1230 to 1430, but not crazy busy, pity the dive pool wasn't open but still had enough space in the leisure lanes.

Thé facility is big and well equipped, however, the staff did not really care about the security of the area. Multiple kids were jumping and playing rough in the indoor pool while it was forbidden and full of people. Furthermore, seeing kids vomiting in the outdoor pool was not pleasant.

First time at this aquatic centre. The atmosphere is lively. Very clean and impressed. The only downfall is that the food is a bit pricey. Very cheap for entry! Beautiful outdoor area

Wow! The aquatic side of things, well these guys have everything covered. The gym is stocked with technogym equipment, which is actually really good. The staff seem friendly and the facilities are very clean.

Huge swimming pool with both indoors and outdoors. There are seats and sun blockers for the outdoor swimming pool. There is also a canteen outside.

Indoor pool is a bit small, there were no lanes available to the public so we had to swim outdoors, would be nice if the indoor pool was bigger. Also you have to book online if you want to use the sauna and steam room

The best pool I've been! Great instructors, clean facilities, great staff! Only downside the coffee shop is expensive and the staff sometimes with attitude or a bit rude.

The pools were cordoned where you have access to swim in a very narrow section. The larger pool was entirely closed off to the public. The diving blocks were sealed and unaccessible to the public. No space for swimming or diving. Paid to go in for nothing. Worst experience ever!

Constantly filthy with hair everywhere. The basins in the gym bathroom are a joke and make it impossible to do hand hygiene effectively. The staff are lovely and do the best they can. Please hire more cleaners! They cost the least and make the most difference!

The facilities are pretty good, however there is always a problem with either the steam, sauna or spa. Also, the lockers never seem to lock/unlock and sometimes require staff assistance.

A fantastic pool with incredible customer service. In particular I want to thank Suti and Simon who were knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and supportive from beginning to end and genuinely went the extra mile to support us. Thanks so much!

A good upgrade with an attractive main building, however I wish there had been more money spent on making the place feel more isolated from the very busy surrounds. On that point, the pool is noisier now, which I think is due to sounds reflecting off the taller building across to the concrete stands. General sound proofing would be a good way to go before the project is considered complete. A bit more thought could also have been applied to shelter from the sun on the stands. However, considering the size of the area, there are limits to what can be done. All in all, a big visual improvement, but as things stand, I think the old setup was still more relaxing.

The area and pools are nice but the biggest problem is that lifeguards are literally harassing you all the time. Don’t do this, don’t do that. In overseas, this is not the case and the lifeguards picking on elderly with poor English or unable to speak English at all

Great combo of outdoor and indoor pools. Love the umbrellas, bright chairs and 'grassed' areas near the outdoor kids pool. Lots of shade in the big grandstand too.

A crowded outdoor water sports centre. I tried the group fitness class upstairs though. Nothing to complain. A fair place to workout. But the pool makes a view when workout from the above.

Very bad experince, noncooperative staff and very rude.

We just visited today we do not know we need the sweeming short because we are from visitor from melbourne. The staff was rude, did not cooperate at all and was not understanding the situation. Hopeless and bad experience.

Beautiful facility. I use the outdoor pool on a regular basis. It’s clean, temperature controlled and never too busy. Membership and general cost could be more affordable, but is similar to other quality facilities in Sydney.

Nice staff but too many screaming kids and mothers its hard to find a spot to do laps at certain times.

Best pool in the inner west at the moment. Even when busy it copes well, plenty of parking and well thought out changerooms, family rooms and showers.
