Apple Sydney reviews
75One of the biggest Apple stores I have ever seen. The transparent building is a delight for eyes. Lots of staff make wait time quite less keeping in mind hoards of people visiting this store. Top notch quality of goods. Bought a mac book a while ago. Still looks like new.
I took my watch for repair. They accepted it as a warranty repair then took 6 weeks to give it back to me. When it was returned the watch had not been repaired and they basically told me that was too bad. They were generally unhelpful and passed the buck from staff member to staff member until I got sick of it and took the watch and left. Enough to put me off Apple for a while. Very disappointing that they were so dismissive. They should have told me from the beginning they would not fix the watch. They said the problem was not covered by warranty but they were unable to identify what the problem was. They basically could not of cared less.
Just went for an enquiry. Excellent service. Wanted to check if I can make and receive calls just with cellular apple watch and earpods without the iphone, so that I could completely get rid of the iphone from my life. And I got the answer. You must vist the store for the experience. You can touch and feel the products and you can play around with the products as well.
I love the ambiance and how they display their products in a spacious setting. What i’m most interested in was how each table has a hidden cash register installed so every purchases can be made anywhere in the building.
An amazing yet a real big store out there for all the apple fans and users, has a magnificent interior and a very helpful staff. Though very busy and crowded, yet you shall have someone from the staff to help you and look after for the products that you require and guide you with adequate suggestions.
Really bad customer service
Staff member Jack and his manager Kevin does not know how to talk and handle the customer.
They were not ready to understand customer’s issue and they have well recorded machine robotic answer that this is know issue and our team is working on it but there is no possible timeframe when the issue will be fixed
I had the absolute best customer service experience from this Apple store. I cracked my iPhone XS three days after receiving it and I can’t afford the repair but the manager was very sympathetic. Of course there was nothing they could do about the crack but I received a case for the phone to hide the crack. Thank you so so much apple
After many thousands of dollars in iPods, iPhones and Macbooks (and being a highly vocal Apple advocate), to be fobbed off with a misconstrued version of Australian Consumer Law to avoid refunding or replacing my device, as I am entitled to under the law, is beyond disappointing.
*MacBook Pro advert: 10 hours battery life.
*Reality (with lower screen brightness) 6h51m.
*Consumer Law: ‘You can ask for a replacement or refund if the problem with the product is major. A product has a major problem when. It is significantly different from the description.or.it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d know about it’.
Well as it happens Apple, I can vehemently confirm I would not have bought this MacBook Pro, had I know it would last less than a working day, and significantly short of the advertised 10 hours. This alone means this constitutes a major problem, thus warranting a refund or replacement.
Now two visits later and I am now forced to waste more of my time escalating this matter to bring about a satisfactory outcome. I am sad to say this brings an end to my relationship with Apple. Your competitors will he pleased however; a whole new family buying their laptops, phones and smartwatches for Christmas.
The best, like any other Apple store. Their service is extraordinary even on out of warranty products. You would have paid for all these services when buying the apple products in the first place though
A young man named Lochie helped me choose the Apple TV that best suited my home and then showed me how to use the remote and navigate. He was such a nice kid and knew exactly how to tell me what I needed to know. I left very happy and thankful for the assistance. A+ for Lochie.
Had a really great experience at the apple store thanks to Janu. She was so nice and helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. She made everything so much easier and enjoyable when signing up to a phone contract compared to even the carrier staff at their company stores. Thank you for the nice conversation and the new phone!
Takes a while to get an appointment to see a technician but these guys know their Apple stuff so it’s quick and painless when you get here into the Genius Bar. Highly recommended if you think it’s too much trouble it really isn’t.
They scheduled an appointment to change the battery of my iPhone and when I arrived there as per the schedule the guy there name Alex said “We can’t replace your battery as all the technicians are busy”! Why do you even take appointment and waste people’s time if you can’t serve them? Pathetic service!
I was really disappointed with the service that I recieved today. I went in to get help with my Airpods that I had brought last week. I was told by one or the workers to go home and watch youtube videos on how to use them. If I needed YouTube videos to get the answer my question I would of done that and not have wasted my time with visiting the Apple store.
Seeing that it's such an expensive product and that you can't get help from the company itself on how to work them is disappointing.
Huge Apple stores for the fans out there. Very classy store design and helpful staffs. Worth a visit as there's quite a few interesting accessories to compliment your precious (and overpriced) Apple devices.
