Had an issue with an old iPhone, we could not remember the verification code.
Over the last few weeks, we had spoken to several staff members and Apple Support to no avail.
A young gentleman by the name of William at the Charlestown Apple Store was so very polite, courteous and extremely helpful.
Explained everything step by step.
Outstanding customer service

Went for an appointment at the Genius Bar. For the worlds biggest company the experience was very disappointing. There must have been 10 people sitting waiting to be seen and no staff seemed interested - there were plenty wandering around but nobody letting us know when we would be seen

Eventually someone t turned up and did a reasonable job helping

With all your technology and resources the experience should have been j much better.

G the technician reset my phone, told me it would have to put back password only - not right, I had to set up permissions etc etc took hours

WARNING.
Apple ultra watch / Ocean ban
Product failure and won’t cover under Apple Care Plus.
My 16 year old son saved up to buy the Apple ultra watch as it was advertised for sports like surfing, sailing and diving. My son bought it to track his performance and for safety out on the water.
Today he was out wing foiling in open waters and either the Apple Watch ocean ban or Apple Watch failed and came off his wrist and fell into the water.
With a depth over over 8 meters there was no chance of recovery from the ocean floor.
We rang Apple care to lodge a claim and was advised that Apple would not cover the claim as we would need the Apple Watch to prove that it failed. I explained to Apple care that as the Apple Watch ocean ban failed and has come from his wrist and gone into the ocean and is now on the bottom. Apple care then advised me to go dive for the Apple Watch myself or pay for a commercial diver to find the Apple Watch and then make a claim.
Maybe I am delusional, but is Apple Care so out of touch on reality?
Lessons learnt.
Apple Ultra watch / ocean ban is poor product and does not do what Apple claims in its advertising.
Apple Care plus is a scam and just an up sell.
I will now go further with fair trading as Apple can not get away with advertising a product that does not support what it claims and up selling a useless insurance cover policy.

My Mum had a great experience at this store today with her phone that she couldnt unlock. Thankyou to the staff that couldnt be more helpful and fixed my mum's phone for her.

Apple are always out to help as soon as u go in you are greeted with hellos and how can I help. They replaced my ipod as they don't make them they still replaced it

I came in last week for assistance with an upgrade and was assisted by KAEWA who was just fantastic! He was super knowledgeable, patient, friendly and personable. I wouldn’t want to be assisted by anyone else. Please ensure Kaewa receives the recognition he deserves, he was just wonderful

Don't use Apple stuff but not judging.this shop always smells like wee when I walk past. Have accompanied and bought products for children. The staff know their stuff.well it's only one brand. Apple paradise. Wish samsung had a store like this next to it.

Service was relatively great but some of the pricing is stupidly marked up irrespective of someone’s bank account. It appears Apple are making “Customer Service Bookings” these days, you can make these in store and wait or book online, go figure, it’s the new level of customer service.

Found a brand new expensive MacBook Air in Charlestown. Clearly recently purchased from the store so I was honest and took it to your store. I hope the new (previous) owner gets it back but if they don't appear and don't claim it. I do. It's not yours, so I lay claim. Please let me know how this goes?

On arrival the line was beyond the store but fast paced.
We had to book an appointment which resulted in waiting 3hours to be seen. The technician was very helpful and informative so that was pleasing.
Being in the shopping centre for over 3 hours I also had to pay $8.60 parking fee

I make an appointment for 1.30 pm to have a battery exchanged in a 11 Pro Max iPhone. And I’m paying for it mind you & it will not be ready until 4.45pm that’s over 3 hour wait for a job that takes 10 minutes at most to do. Why is it over a three hour wait just for a battery exchange. Apple are you serious. Not to mention the phone should have. Been replaced as it’s already a replacement iPhone. And it’s not done nothing except cost me several drives up here from Toukley. To Charlestown it’s very poor service by Apple Charlestown. Back at Apple after not doing anything about my partners iPhone. That’s just 5 days ago have a brand new battery replaced by Apple and the iPhone is turning off and doing all sought of things. And Tim one of the so called managers sends you home not doing anything about my partner not being able to use her iPhone

Never got to go to store as the parking situation at Charleston is a disgrace (I have a VW Crafter van (similar size to a Merc Sprinter), so 7 metres long & approx 3m high & parked in a naughty place so security came & got me & escorted me to their storage/deliveries area as wasn't any room to park anywhere else! Shopping centre needs to fix this issue as I & many other people won't be able to go there as it's jus impossible to park (losing customers)

For all your Apple needs these are the go to. Not much point in going if you are an android user. They also won't help you in switching from Android to Apple. Staff are well trained in telling no to customers.

We came in to have a MacBook Air repaired and unfortunately we were unaware we needed an appointment. That’s ok. The tech asked us to come back at opening the following day and said that someone would see us. Not the case as we were then told we needed an appointment.

Absolute waste of my time and fuel for a pointless exercise.

Samsung and Microsoft here I come.

Terrible when you have staff that see you, look at you, stand next to you, and walk away rather than serve you. Felt like more than hour standing there watching staff serve customers. I intended to buy a $4k plus laptop on the spot but due to the ignorance, rudeness and contempt for a customer I would rather use my royal typewriter than deal with that store. It is some of the worst service I have seen and they weren’t busy I counted more than 8 staff doing nothing on the other side of the room several made eye contact and turned their head away (yes and several has seen me over the period) CUSTOMER SERVICE I was being patient waiting for someone and you treated me with contempt. I will be taking this up with Apple HQ the service was that appalling. If you were flat out I’d get it but to stand around and ignore people is just pathetic! The manager and supervising staff should be terminated. The store I sorted out a laptop with while waiting in the apple store did me a better deal and better unit (served immediately). Not good enough and I’ll make sure you are on a slide somewhere in Apple for the disgusting Performance. Disgrace!
