We had coffees, cake and some zucchini fritters. Very nice food, the garden is lovely and the staff were extremely friendly, they made it a nice atmosphere.

Really love sitting outside here.great food and healthy options.

Great place to have breakfast with your family by the nature side. Loved the service and also yummy breakfast. I would highly recommend this place and would personally visit multiple times.

My husband & I were lucky enough to catch up here pre-Christmas 2021 with some family members.

I have always loved a good established-nursery (as opposed to 'garden centre') cafe/ restaurant.

Oaks Brasserie fits the bill. Beautiful surrounds, a good menu and - the test of any truly good establishment - agile enough to turn out some lovely food, notwithstanding total electrical failure in the kitchen due to the spectacular storm we we enjoying under a (suitably large) umbrella outside.

Visit it rain, hail or shine!

Lovely and green outside seating, friendly and efficient service, shade provided. Love the dog menu items. Our pup ate it's noodles in a 3 second record! My vegetarian salad was delicious as was my iced mocha. My family (3 generations!) all enjoyed their lunch too. Thank you:)

Would recommend. Very enjoyable lunch, good value, good service and attractive setting. A relief not to have the pretentious overpriced menus and poor service that so many Canberra restaurants have, and unlike them would look forward to coming here again.

I held my 40th birthday mid May at this awedome hidden gem and so glad i did. It was the most perfect venue. They far exceeded everyting i was hoping for. My guests and i had a magical night and my guests really enjoyed the atmosphere, beautiful lights around the gardens and the food. We ordered the platters and they were worth every cent. The most amazing part of our experience was how amazing the staff were.everything was sorted and setup so beautifully. The staff were so freindly, helpful and approachable and were so easy to deal with. I cannot say one negative thing about this venue because it was perfect. Family and freinds are still talking about it.

Delightful. Outside dining. Fantastic dog friendly venue. Strolling through the greenery after coffee or food is a must.

We had a ladies group afternoon tea outside in a semi private part of the garden and it was really lovely. The food platters were delicious, all tastes catered for and there was plenty of food and the service was attentive. We all enjoyed it and we will be back again.

We had a fantastic time & all of our guests went away extremely content with the food and quality of service Rhys and the team provided. The staff looked happy & ambience created was perfect for our garden themed wedding. Highly recommend them for guests with diverse dietary requirements as they were able to cater delicious food for no onion/garlic allergy, vegan, vegetarian & gluten free needs. Their event management & expert attention to detail made our wedding an incredible success! The banana gluten free dessert is a must to try as well as the beef goulash, which are available in the cafe experience as well!:) Thank you YGOB for the most beautiful food and heart warming service x

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and sun.
Our meals were delicious and super speedy to come out and I’m sure the the owners are coffee lovers because the coffee was on point!

Nice to see this place open. Its a nice little spot with a good outdoor area to sit. At this moment they are not letting people sit inside during covid. The food was delicious and staff friendly. Its a nice little escape and great place to stop along a walk or ride around the lake.

Such a beautiful spot. A true oasis in the middle of Canberra. A fabulous location for a lunch or coffee and cake. A truely beautiful garden setting.

Great place to have coffee and a bite to eat. Sitting outside even on a cool morning is very pleasant. You are greeted with friendly and very kind service. Great cross section of sweets and cakes that were well priced.

I would like to see a couple more disability spots in the carpark. The cafe is reasonably accessible with a very small step to get into the cafe. Highly recommended.

Limited choices on the menu. Dog friendly with a doggy menu! Lovely garden setting but birds are a problem with all aspects in an outdoor area.

Beautiful garden setting (though there are inside tables) amongst the trees. The (young) staff were kind, friendly & helpful. If sitting outside, grab a table @ the western end of the property (most distant from the car park) as the trees @ the eastern end are full of currawongs, magpies & mynas who swoop & hassle guests for handouts constantly. Prices are very steep, food is okay but not outstanding.

A lovely little cafe in a tranquil and shady setting opposite the garden centre. Can often be relatively quiet when other venues are packed to the limit.
